This company, their employees, and their product is just amazing. Someone came out to measure, and we carefully matched the color of the screen and holder. We determined the density of the shade as we were getting a lot of sun due to our location. We decided on the 97% as we still could see the mountain through the shade. The first time they came out it did not fit just right. Instead of improvising and making it fit, they and redid the whole entire thing. Yes, it took a few more weeks, but it is gorgeous and perfect. We love our new shades from Mile High Shade! Our shades were installed on time and without a hitch. We had seven installed and the look and function of them is wonderful. The visibility through them is even better than we expected, and because they are mounted on the outside of the house they really keep the heat out. These shades are an investment, but we got multiple bids and Mile High Shade was the most competitive and really worked with us on the various options. Scott was great to deal with from providing the quote to communicating with us along the way. And the owner, Nicholas, was super friendly and led the team that installed them. He was here the entire day working right alongside his crew. He even stayed at the end of the day to help us fix an issue with an awning that was installed by another company - no charge! This team does provide some of the electrical work needed for install, but depending on the complexity of the wiring needed into the house an electrician might be required. In our case we did need one, but Scott put us in touch with one they have worked with and he did excellent work for a very reasonable price. Service was the purchase and installation of motorized solar shade systems. Mile High Shade provided good communications until I paid, then crickets. When I had new gutters being installed, I asked that they be on-site to verify no interference with the solar shades. They said they did not need to be on-site. When shades finally arrived, I finally received a call to set up installation. A 2-man crew arrived to install five 8-foot by 8-foot by 12-foot shade systems. The installer did not remove facia along the header which resulted in a non-aligned (angled) installation. One of the shade panel spaces had been incorrectly measured and the panel did not fit and had to be re-ordered. The installer had to return a third time to complete the installation. The shades are expensive, they work, and the installer controls the territory. Buyer beware. read more

They took care of every detail, coming to the house to carefully measure, make sure we had a good fit and provide us with so many great options for the shade and the fabrics. While waiting for the shades to be custom made, they kept us informed on the progress. When the time came to install the shades, they went out of their way to get it done before I had to leave town. The team at Mile High Shade did a fantastic job with installing a solar shade for the large main window in our family room (which is actually the size of a garage door!). From a price perspective, they were very competitive. I ultimately opted to go with Mile High Shade because of their follow-up communication via email -- which was top notch. Before the installation, it was almost impossible for us to sit in our living room from 3:00pm until sunset as the sun was blazing into the room. It made the room unusable. Zach and Nicholas did a fantastic job of coming out and taking the initial measurements, keeping us updated through the production process, and getting out to our property to get everything installed.
