    Roasted pork and duck combo.
    Cinyuki C.

Friendly staff, great roasted meats. My friend and I shared a roasted pork and duck combo plus a soy sauce chicken over rice. The portions are generous, we left feeling completely satisfied. Any one who is craving for some authentic Chinese foods while traveling this beautiful city of Netherlands should pay a visit.

Good roast pork here. We had it with sautéed tofu hotpot, and "Yang Chow Chau Fan" or fried rice. Good fast service despite of very busy place. Fair priced for the size of the food portion and its taste. Delicious! Recommend.

They have the best BBQ! As a Chinese, I love this place! If you see a lot of Chinese guys showing up in a restaurant, that only means one thing: the food in this place is authentic and awesome. BBQ pork is tender and sweet. Peking duck was perfectly grilled. You can hear the crispy skin cracking when you bite it. And as always, the service in Chinese restaurant is not as good as others. But we Chinese just don't care. As long as the food is great, nobody cares of the waiter smiles at me or not. I just can't keep my eyes off the food. 这里的宵夜饭不能更赞,是三拼。叉烧,脆皮鸭和脆皮烧肉。好好味!馄饨面也超正。下次还想再来!

I think I am giving this five stars because of its jasmine tea; it is much better than the other places I tried. The food is pretty good. Menu has a lot of variety.

A nice small place with great food! If you don't pay attention you will walk right past it. The Ramon has the best noodles I have ever had with an exquisite broth. Don't forget to stop in!

I haven't typically craved wonton soups in the past, but I found this so perfect for cold, rainy nights on my stay in Amsterdam that I ordered twice! I sometimes find Chinese food to be a bit too salty and/or filled with that silent killer (MSG) and to my surprise, I felt only satisfaction. (I'm sure there are additives but it's not as heavy as I've experienced before). The pork was super tasty and a hefty portion. Second time, I got the classic wonton and it's just as fulfilling. Crispy fried wontons (4pcs) are a great start to meal - Even kept its crisp after sitting out for a bit. Highly recommend getting them! Second order, I added snow peas in garlic. They give a huge container of rice, but the veggies themselves were a bit overly saturated with oil and lost its bite from being overcooked. I also had expectations of snow pea leaves which I absolutely love, but my eyes and hunger clearly trailed off when reading the menu. At €13.50, it was something I really did not need. Both times, they did not deliver any utensils, however, High - five on those chili oils with every order. Yum!

The food is good, and the portion size is big (hence the 2 stars). I got the Peking duck over rice and chicken friend rice (see pictures). The service is sub par (considered none for someone traveling from the US). When I was waiting for my takeout (or takeaway here), an asian man in his 50s walked from the restaurant area to the BBQ meat cutting area (typical of Chinese BBQ restaurant set up, visible to customers sitting at tables close to the front door) wiped his hands w a piece of wet cloth, and proceeded to cut the meat w his bare hands. He put the meat over rice, wiped his hands w the same piece of wet cloth, and walked back to the restaurant area to talk to a customer in very bad English. After a few minutes, he walked back to the cutting area, wiped his hands w the same cloth again, and put the plate of rice and meat into a microwave over underneath the cutting board. A minute of heating later, he took the plate out to his customers. In the US, customers would have expected (1) food not heated by a microwave oven and (2) the food preparer wears a glove while handling food in front of customers. I was ok w the food when I saw that my Peking duck was cut by an Indian worker who washed his hands over the sink and stayed in the meat cutting area the whole time without going to the customers. I'm asian, so I'm a bit more forgiving. My white friends from the US would have given a zero (or one star, the minimum) and written nothing but horrible complaints!!

Large portions, good prices and mediocre service, the authentic experience. The Peking Duck is highly recommended and is excellent.

It's a multi-level restaurant that stays packed during prime hours, which is always a good sign for the food quality. They serve Dim Sum all day, which is a huge plus. The flavors are very traditional. While the Dim Sum was solid across the board, the Beef Chow Fun was the absolute standout--perfectly prepared with that signature "wok hei" (breath of the wok). The staff isn't necessarily warm and fuzzy, but they are efficient. Don't expect a long chat, but you'll get your food quickly. Be prepared for a bit of a climb; the restaurant spans several floors and it appears to be stairs-only. It gets very crowded, so timing your visit is key. A must-visit for Chinese food fans in Amsterdam. Just be ready for a lively, busy environment!

One standout dish that truly impressed me was the Kimchi Fried Rice with Shrimp & Sweet Corn. The balance of flavors was exceptional--the tangy, spicy kick of the kimchi paired beautifully with the sweetness of the corn, while the shrimp added a perfectly tender, savory touch. Every bite was vibrant and satisfying, showcasing a creative twist on a classic comfort dish. I cannot wait for an opportunity to revisit and try their duck. It smelled and looked decadent. The ambiance is equally remarkable, blending traditional elegance with a lively, welcoming vibe. Service was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Their menu is impressively large and the dining room is small but inviting. Prices are quite high, but you are in a tourist area. We ordered a Kung pao chicken and a chicken fried rice to share. We both had a very weird 'chemical' taste that would occasionally occur with the Kung pao but neither of us could figure out what it was. The chicken fried rice was fine but contained very little chicken. My house white wine at 4.5 was fine as well as hubby had a Heineken. The biggest issue was the many Gnats that just descended on us once our wine arrived. If you zoom in on the picture, there were quite a few just hanging out after our plate we removed. We have been to many restaurants since we arrived here and this is the first with this issue. It got even worse once our food arrived. Very irritating. Service was just ok. We were here at a weird time because we are very jet lagged and trying to get on the time zone (needed dinner early). The staff were having their dinner so we felt a bit of a nuisance. Bill was about 50 euro.
