I find that dessert area to have literally the worst cardiologists, electrophysiologists, neurologists, pain doctors, orthopedic specialists, therapists, allergy doctors, pediatrists, and hospitals that I've ever seen in my life, but not doctor Stanley. Doctor Stanley is an Angel in a desert of trash. I don't know what I would have done without him. He's a compassionate, caring, sincere, humble, knowledgeable man. Problem is her "on call" doctor went on vacation too so when we came back from NY where my son was admitted OVERNIGHT in the ER for croup and was told to make a follow up with his ped... we had NO pediatrician to see for over a week and were told to go to urgent care if we needed to be seen. (No, I don't need urgent care... he spent the night in the hospital! Why would I go to urgent care because Dr. Rogers left an "on call doctor" in her absence who was actually on vacation!) THEN when her on call doctor DID return, he prescribed him albutoral and some other asthma meds without even SEEING him once in person to see his progress as well as an additional 7 days of oral steroids! That was one situation! Additionally, My son has had a consistent rash on his legs, back of his arms, chest, cheeks and forehead since July. Went to see her in August and she said it looked like a heat rash. She prescribed hydrocortisone 2% and told us to put it on in a very thin layer for 5 days. It didn't improve, so we went back. She then said it was an allergic reaction to the nylon from the stitching on his shirts (how that would affect his legs I can't figure out) so we stopped wearing clothes with anything stitched on his shirts. It's October and he still has this rash! Then most recently when he broke out in hives, I called her answering service and they paged her. She said it was an allergy to milk and put him on Soy for the next 3 months but her tone was BEYOND annoyed that I called about something so "common". I called the next day because it seemed to get worse overnight and asked over the phone for a referral to a dermatologist and she said she would. When I verified that Desert Oasis received the referral they had but they said it would take about a week. I asked if it could be expedited and was told only the doctor could request that. So I called Dr. Rogers office again and was put on hold to ask her and was told she said "she doesn't do that and if I'm that concerned I should just go to the Urgent Care"... I told them I don't want to go seen a general doctor otherwise I would have made an Appt with his pediatrician... I need a dermatologist to look at my son as he's been fighting a rash for 3 months and now has an allergic reaction.... she said "I'm sorry, but the doctor said she doesn't rush orders and that she doesn't take pages for allergies".... I was BLOWN. AWAY. I asked when the soonest was for an Appt with the doctor and she said the following Wed (8 days later)... then my long silent pause made her offer to come in right away but "it was a 2 1/2 hour wait so there's no guarantee he'll get in to see the doctor today". Her front desk people are always rude and stressed out... I call to ask about my balance so I can make a payment and they ALWAYS say their "Computers are updating" (I.e. Im busy and don't have time for you). One time they actually told me "don't you have an Appt next week? Just make a payment then" and didn't even want to take my payment over the phone. THEN today, I called started to ask them for my balance so I can clear the balance before moving my new pediatrician. I began by saying hello and started asking for billing... the lady cut me off mid sentence put me on hold.... after 18 minutes of being on hold.... I walked up to their front door and they actually CLOSED their office with me on the phone. Wth is wrong with these people???? I also discovered I had breast cancer this year. She flew in action and took the time to call me at home to tell me my diagnosis instead of learning in my medical test results. She also referred me to two wonderful surgeons to complete a series of very serious surgical procedures I needed. She took the time to adjust my meds to make sure my side effects were as little as possible. I Also have a history of very painful Pap smears when going to gynecologists. Dr. George was very empathetic and said she could actually do my Pap smear for me herself, and would make it as painless as possible. It really was, and I was so grateful! She spends a lot more time talking & listening than most of the doctors I've been to. I really appreciate feeling like I'm talking to a friend who I can tell anything to. He also has a good sense of humor which I appreciate the when I am nervous I tend to make jokes or make light of the situation. I would recommend her to anyone, particularly women.

Let me elaborate. Both my wife and I are previous patients of Dr. Grimm. We paid thousands of dollars just to be able to have him as our GP and were excited to have a "concierge doctor." We were sadly duped. Yes, if you wanted him to prescribe you some prescription cough syrup over the phone or recommend an overpriced "wellness consultant" then he is your man. However, if you are looking for an actual medical professional who knows his field and can provide relevant and constructive advice, look elsewhere. Now for the facts. Below are actual things Dr. Grimm (and/or his office) did: 1) Shut down all through COVID then went on vacation 2 weeks after office reopened. Why not take vacation when your office was closed for a year? We all kept paying... 2) Faked test results. No really, we paid out of pocket for (3) other tests to confirm that the test results my wife was given were completely fabricated. He "isn't sure what happened." That inspires confidence. 3) Lied about COVID deaths. Apparently this is a thing now. People use the tragedy of COVID to cover up for their own incompetence and its disgusting. Multiple times he claimed that "two of my patients died this week from COVID." When pressed, his response was "lots of people are dying from COVID!" True, but it doesn't help them or your patients by using that as an excuse to not do your job. 4) Provided absolutely no help in a fairly serious medical situation. Without getting into details, we needed some legitimate medical help for a life changing condition. (Hence tests above) Dr. Grimm's advice was to "google the test results" as he does not understand them. When pressed about how to interpret and use the $500 test results, he said "you should do what you have been doing if its working." Bottom Line: Don't get duped by this incompetent charlatan and his pretty office, he will not help you get well... but you will spend a lot of money!
