Specialties
Essential Psychiatric Services provides compassionate, personalized mental health care for adolescents (12+) and adults. We specialize in anxiety, depression, and life transitions, with a focus on helping individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing process.
Our approach combines thoughtful medication management with therapeutic support, including cognitive behavioral strategies and holistic techniques such as mindfulness and stress-reduction practices.
We understand that starting mental health care can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re unsure about medication or what to expect. We take a gentle, collaborative approach—moving at your pace and working together to find what feels right for you.
Services are available both in-person in Banning and via telehealth throughout California and Arizona. We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and IEHP.
Healing begins with feeling heard.
History
Established in 2021.
Essential Psychiatric Services was created to provide a more personal and supportive approach to mental health care in the San Gorgonio Pass and surrounding communities.
After years of working in behavioral health, it became clear that many individuals struggled to find care that felt both accessible and genuinely supportive. Long wait times, rushed visits, and feeling unheard were common experiences.
This practice was built to change that—offering a space where clients can take their time, ask questions, and feel comfortable being open about what they’re going through.
Our goal is simple: to provide high-quality care while making sure every person feels seen, respected, and supported.
