Dr. Western is kind, observant and responsive. He is definitely NOT of the "pill-pusher" variety. He asks a lot of questions and actually seems to LISTEN to them. Instead of facing his computer for the duration of the appointment as so many doctors do today, he maintains eye-contact, takes notes which, I assume, will be transcribed LATER. He takes the time to hear my complaint(s). What has impressed me all along (for several years) is that he might recommend another doctor for a specific problem rather than opting to prescribe still another medication.
