Her bedside manner and patience in answering questions prior to the procedure was top notch.

This place is fantastic. Had a procedure here and the place runs like an excellent machine - and…read morethey still keep their humanity. An amazing crew that included 9-10 people in various spots throughout the procedure. Big shout out to Lanea, Cinoy, Laurie, Ann-Lina and Jenny (I think) for pre- and post-op. Dr. Conti was pro, kept it short and sweet and understandable, thanks Israel for putting me under. All done feeling comfortable, attended to and recognized.

Upon release and being rolled out in a wheel chair with all my instructions in hand, I noticed a handwritten card with the names of everyone who took care of me. Shout outs to Sonia PCT, Laurie pre op nurse, Michelle procedure nurse, Amanda CRNA, Roy PCT, Shameka recovery nurse, and Dr Annunziata. If by chance they ever read this, thank you for making this a pleasant experience by actually connecting and not rushing us through as though I was #35 for the day. Your investment today in your patient insures many more repeats and referrals. Preventive medicine saves lives. Early detection is what makes the difference. Since I was under, I had both the colonoscopy and an upper GI endoscopy. There's nothing to be afraid of and it's over in an instant and you feel great afterwards. So make that appointment for you or your loved one.

I've been going to this Dr. for a very long time. Never had a problem, well that changed after my…read morehusband needed an endoscopy and they found a tumor in his throat. Dr went over by my husband's bed in recovery and the Dr. said he did biopsies and then proceeds to loudly proclaim he thought he has cancer....Wow people turned around and looked in our direction. He needed a follow-up endoscopy after chemo treatment to check on some dysplasia and swallowing issues. ( had a C.T. scan a week or so prior, and findings were the tumor was gone) While I was sitting in the waiting room I spotted the Dr. in the receptionist area, and I asked him how it went and he said he took biopsies and I just mentioned about the scan results and he coldly told me " well the cancer is back " with a little smirk of a smile on his face. What a " CLOD", this guy has become. He didn't even bother to go see my husband in recovery. We are talking about peoples lives here not going over a grocery list. This guy needs to hang up his" shingle "if that is how he treats patients , not to mention him shouting possible findings across the recovery room. I can't emphasize how much this upsets me to have such a callus response to a person's medical issues. Never Again, that's for sure. The nurses at El Mirador are outstanding and have such praise for them. This in no way reflects how they do their job, which is wonderfully. The Dr. ....Not-So-Much.

The nurses at the El Mirador Surgery Center are the only reasons I gave this place a two star…read morerating and not a one star. I did everything they asked me to. I was having a totla anxiety attack and I asked if they could give me a Xanax or Valium or something and they said no, we don't do that here. You'll just have to "deal with it". So I waited for an hour because they took my phone and personal belongings away and all I could do was look around at all the other "cattle" in our respective pens. Meanwhile, I saw another patient across from me during prep meet her anesthesiologist and have a 5 minute chat where he answered all her question and review her chart. Then they wheeled her away. When it was my turn, they was no chat, just wheeled into an exam room, two older guys and a nurse. No one introduced themselves or said hi so I felt like pig about to be butchered. They asked me my name and date of birth and why I was there. Instead of saying Colonoscopy, I said, "To get a camera shoved up my ass." No one even laughed as I was trying to keep the mood light. They gave me some versed and something else presumably to knock me out, and the ONLY thing I asked was that I didn't want to rem, ember anything that happened during the procedure and they assured me I wouldn't. Well, guess what. I woke up in the middle and felt the worst craps ever while they were maneuvering something around and I groaned, "Owww! That hurts! Please stop!:" They must have eventually given me more drugs because I woke up and my husband was there, but what a horrible ordeal. The pain was awful. Like the worst gas cramps you've ever felt. And I didn't get THE ONE THING i asked for -- not to remember anything during the procedure. Between the impersonal treatment telling me to "just deal with it", waiting almost an hour in a bed while everyone else went ahead of me when I told them how anxious I was, and the incompetent ability to keep me sedated during my procedure (20 minutes long, I might add), this was the suckiest thing ever, and I suggest you interview your doctor before you let just anyone shove a camera up YOUR ass if you have to have this hellish procedure done to you after you turn 50. And find a place that gives you a Valium first. That seems at least a little humane.

I was referred to this amazingly clean, professional, caring & really on top of their business…read moreoffice by my primary doctor for an appointment/check up with a Dr. Asgeri. When I showed up for my appt I arrived about 15min earlier than our scheduled time and was able to be seen early. Which is this day and age, given the climate doesn't ever happen. Dr. Asgeri was very informative, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. I was scheduled for a procedure this upcoming April and I received a phone call this morning from Cynthia. She told me that my medical insurance was about to be terminated on April 1st. This was definitely not an April fools joke... I called 3 different inductance companies and they all don't understand why it's going to be terminated... I will resolve that issue on my owns the point that I'm making is that I would not have even known that my insurance was about to have a lapse of any sort of it wasn't for her phone call. The office got on top of my situation immediately and pushed my procedure up a week earlier so that I can get the treatment and care ASAP! This again shows how wonderful this staff and office is! The staff has been more than helpful is so many ways. So I have to give the ladies a great shout out... Cynthia, Angie, Veronica, Esther, Maritza & Alejandra are all a breath of fresh air!!!! I don't usually look forward to procedures but I'm very excited to get this one done because I know that I am in great hands. I will post/review again after the procedure! Thank you so much Oasis Advanced Gastroenterology!!!!
