I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I continue to consistently receive from Dr. Stanley and his outstanding team--especially Paul (NP) and the front desk medical assistants. Whenever I have an appointment with Paul, despite his demanding schedule, he always takes the time to truly listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and clearly explain the next steps for monitoring my health. His attentiveness and professionalism make me feel heard, respected, and an active participant in the quality of care I'm receiving. I also want to commend the front desk staff for making appointment scheduling smooth and accommodating. On several occasions, they've helped me secure earlier appointments when needed. Their prompt attention, courteous manner, and strong commitment to patient care are genuinely valued--and, most importantly, reliably consistent. Additionally, I've experienced excellent follow-up after appointments--whether regarding test results, treatment plans, or referrals to specialists. Communication has always been clear, timely, and supportive, which is essential for making informed decisions about my health. When I've been referred to outside specialists for procedures, the team has been consistently aware of the outcomes and continues to monitor my overall care. I genuinely feel that my medical care is being watched closely, and I'm thankful for that level of attention. Another aspect I truly appreciate is how easy it is to renew my prescriptions--whether locally at my pharmacy or through online systems. The process is efficient, reliable, and always handled with care, which brings me great peace of mind. Thanks to these effective communication channels and a coordinated team approach, I've never felt uncertain or frustrated. However, there's clearly a communications breakdown in the office that has led to delays in getting treatment. Orders for referrals and tests and even refill requests often don't get through the pipeline, so follow-up care is hit or miss. On one occasion I called the office four times in a one-week period and each time got a different story as to why my referral hadn't come through! However, persistence pays off. You need to be a strong advocate for your own medical care, and I believe this is true regardless of the doctor you're dealing with. Despite how frustrated you may get, be polite and civil but also firm. Another drawback is the length of time it takes to get an appointment: one week for the PA and three weeks to see Dr. Palmer. Waiting times may differ if you're not in a managed care plan. Once I arrive at the office, however, waiting time is practically zero. The office is friendly and I have yet to encounter any rudeness.

Dr. Marupuru is a very caring and attentive doctor. She always takes the time to hear all you have to say. She has a wonderful staff starting with Renee who runs the front desk and answers the phones -- she is always very helpful. Then there is Cynthia. She is an incredible nurse, always in a good mood, always makes you feel like you are the only patient she has. That office could not run without her. Dr. Marupuru helped me through some very trying times. Most importantly she told me to see a neurologist. I had been experiencing tremors for several years only to be told from different doctors that the tremors were because of medication. Right before and during Covid my tremors accelerated. I took videos of them and sent them to Dr. Marapuru. She came back immediately and said I needed to see a neurologist. Unfortunately she was the only doctor who did that. Because she wanted me to see a neurologist I was then diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I am now on treatment and this would not be possible if it were not for Dr. Marupuru. It's true that you need to be your own best advocate but you also need to have a doctor in your corner -- I am fortunate that she is in mine. My husband sees her as well and every time we see her or talk on the phone with her we tell each other how lucky we are to have her. I have a team of doctors and it would be incomplete without her.

He refused to see me because forgiveness goes against his policy. Aren't patients allowed any understanding? Not according to this place! Unable to listen to reason for missed appointment. Denies having an answering service message. The black nurse is extremely unprofessional and belligerent from the very first conversation. Instead of going to Steven Western,, I highly recommend Palm Valley Immediate Care - Urgent Care & Clinic Services at Indian Wells, CA They were able to take me right away, no problem, considerably less expensive, but the main thing is the people were super friendly and nice, even sweet. That's the type of behavior that deserves reward.!
