My 90+ year-old parents had expensive concierge care, and the care and attention that we receive from Dr. De La Pena is just as good, From the routine to crisis care, the attention and quality of care are outstanding. One example. I was regularly seeing two different podiatrists for problematic feet. I called Dr. De La Pena to complain about pain in my foot. She had me come in THE SAME DAY and helped pave the path to surgery that I ended up having two weeks later. Without her immediate care, I literally would have lost a foot. The office staff is always respectful and efficient. Medications are called in promptly, lab and other tests are also called promptly to appropriate facilities. Dr. Vachhani takes his time, listens and decides what route to take in improving my health. He will also take the time to see how my mental well being is, what's going on in my life. He is kind, and understanding. My mother had a somewhat urgent matter a few years ago after hours. Upon the paramedics suggestion I called Dr. Vachhani. He had never even seen her before! He told me to bring my mother in to see him the next day and made some medication adjustments. Her symptoms subsided and she definitely became more comfortable. His office even got the ball rolling for a medical transport for the next as my mother was not able to walk.

As a new patient, I was treated like a leper - the NP asked me "why I wanted to be disabled" then she made several referrals to specialists without my consent that have nothing to do with my condition. I needed a few pages of paperwork done and she said she could handle that no problem after that I got a week long run around from the office staff for a week - everyone I spoke to was more uninformed than the next. I was told that the doctor could help me based on the 17 years worth of medical records and most ER visit scans. The paperwork is pretty straightforward part B of the disability so I ultimately had a TeleMed appointment with the doctor himself because a member of his staff said that he would be able to accommodate me. I innocently joined the TeleMed appointment was told immediately that the doctor did not like me and that he was discharging me from his office just like that- horrible. I was referred to this medical practice by my insurance and I had high hopes stay away from this doctor's office. They are unorganized and the doctor is hateful and evil.

She was the first ever person to look into my nose which was broke as a child and she actually asked if it bothered me. She let me get a test to see if there is a correction needed.
