Both proteins were flavorful and satisfying. Spending $20 also came with a free Ade, and I chose the Passion Fruit -- sweet, refreshing, and a perfect match with the meal. Definitely one of my favorite combos here!

My friends and I visited after I mentioned a high school friend of mine liking this place. Once I…read morerealized where it was... I was skeptical. I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.

It brightened our day and made the quaint environment even more wonderful. The cream pasta was so good, wish I took better pictures of the actual pasta as was the samjang lettuce wraps and ttkeogalbi open face sandwich. Every drink was delicious! We got drinks with our meal and then more after to chat over. Recommend anything with jasmine tea it is so good, it's made in house! Really really loved the kumquat jasmine tea.

Well, hate to be frank, but our Souffle Pancake was just very disappointing. While the pancake was nice and fluffy, the toppings and presentation wasn't even close to being as good as they used to be. I felt this was new management, with a whole, new style of doing desserts maybe? In any case, we did think the pancake tasted good...but it was just lacking in the creamy topping, as only the top layer had this creamy base. The lower 2 pancakes had no cream on it...and tasted quite bland. Even the strawberry sauce was minimal...so minimal, I went up to ask for more. Also, the decorative toppings, including the strawberry, were just BLAHHH. If you come here expecting the Strawberry Souffle Pancake of the past, you'll be disappointed. So nope...just not pretty enough for Instagramming. Made me wonder if the rest of the desserts have gone down as well?? For drinks, my husband had Cappuccino, and I had this Oohlong Tea. Not pictured, but the presentation was just passable...and the taste was just OK. If I recall, their drinks used to be presented beautifully as well as their desserts...but from the look of things, that may no longer be true. Guess I may give this place at least another try. Who knows? Maybe it was just an off night?? Hopefully I can upgrade the review on my next v visit...should the dessert and the drink look and taste better. Fingers crossed??

It was hot, hearty, and filling--you can taste the beef, not just tomato, so they incorporated it into the sauce really well. Still glad they gave pickled radish on the side, but it's not needed to cut the heaviness like it is for the pasta because the side salad was refreshing enough. The drinks here are pretty standard for Duluth, so if you're here, might as well, but there isn't a drink here I would drive the distance for. They tend to be a bit sweeter than I prefer. My thoughts from my first review about the rest of the menu mostly remain unchanged. I still think the bingsu is good to share, though there are better places for it than here. If Arte is closer, it's a great choice for getting food and dessert.

While it as delicious i think charging $20 bucks for ice is a little ridiculous. I get the toppings and a scope of real ice cream is added but those are not that expensive lol.
