this review is a long time coming. the BEST barber shop in carson hands down. i've tried 3-4 barbers before coming here and haven't looked back. literally every barber here is extremely talented and the team is super nice. i usually am paired with alex or edgar, but you can't go wrong with anyone here. 100/10 would cut again, i only wish they were available everywhere. i just moved to torrance and still drive here to get my cuts! read more

Great service at a reasonable price. I've been going to this place for years. The couple that owns the place are nice and very friendly. I go on Mondays and Thursdays for a shorter wait time. read more

Been coming here since I was 13, I'm now 48 and like the first cut... still feeling fresh as heck. The staff is super friendly, if you plan on lying to them you better have a killer memory . My barber be bringing up stuff I shared years ago. I'm really impressed.. it shows they really care about what you have to say while sitting in the chair. Over the years I've started losing my hair, yet the barber finds ways to making it look fuller... thank you barbershop... I promised that I'd not mention his name, yet I'm pretty sure everyone knows who I'm talking about . read more

Worst hair cut ever. Son basically practiced on my head; asked for a high fade to correct a botched mid fade, instead clipped to a high no fade. Worst, worst, worst ever. Now I have to have it all shaved off because there's no correcting it. Beware! read more

I was very disappointed when I went to the store today. I got there around 1:30 pm, but the gentleman said it was already closed. He told me to come back tomorrow. I wish the business had update the hours and informed their customers better. read more

Dude that sits in the first chair is a joke! I Walk in and notice 3 ppl working and not one of them greets you... Awkwardly I Have to say what's up to finally get there attention. He then tells me they except walk ins but gotta wait outside... I'm guessing bc of covid???... which doesn't make sense when his mask was half way down with his nose sticking out but everyone has their own theory on "what's safe" ... After waiting about 20min on some dirty ass chairs I see his client clearly leaves and is done with his cut... I wait a bit and no one comes to grab me outside ...thinking he probably forgot about me I walk in and then he immediately tells me I gotta wait outside ... Again looking at him confused with his mask half off... he then throws this in asking me annoyed as if I did something to him "Did You signed in?".... Mind you, this is my first time here! Standing there feeling stupid bc Not him or any of the 2 other stylist never mentioned anything about signing I look around with no one else waiting! Just me! 12:30 pm on a Monday!.??? I was so confused ... bro if you don't want my service or wanna work today you're doing an excellent job ! read more

I've been going to Tony at this barber shop for about 8 years now. Im in the Military so it's difficult to find a barber that'll cut my hair in accordance to regulations. This place is the only spot I've ever gone to and will ever go to for as long as I live. Every barber there however has the ability to do very clean looking fades. From Robert, to his wife, to Tony, and Alex; they're wonderful very professional and skilled in their craft. They're very wonderful to speak with and family-oriented. As far as pricing, they only charge $17 where as surrounding barber shops will charge anywhere from $20-$45 depending on where you go. The place is cash only, so make sure you bring some prior to visiting. As far as customer service, I've honestly never been to a place that has treated me much like family. Even when I first started going there, I always felt welcomed and treated well. On one occasion, I remember telling Tony that I didn't have cash but I'd be willing to leave him my ID if he slows me to go to the ATM. He insisted he didn't need the ID and to take my time going to the ATM. This goes to show how honest and pleasant they are to deal with. If you're looking for a haircut in the area, look no further and go here. Again, every barber there does a wonderful job but be sure to give Tony a try as he has always been my favorite. To every barber here, thank you very much for always treating me like family and always welcoming me to your shop. It's been a satisfying experience to always see you all busy and thriving as a business; I look forward to the years ahead ! read more

This is the spot if you need a good haircut. Tony and Alex are very dedicated barbers who will always give the cut you ask for. They do not work by appointments so try to be there early if you do not want to wait. I personally like that since I never have the time to schedule appointments because of work. They make it worth the wait my haircut is always on point. Thank you so much for your time Alex and Tony. read more

I take my son there. Once when he was 2 and he just turned 3 I took him again. First time Alex cut his hair. I was worried about my son sitting still and Alex was patient and did a great job so I decided to go back. The 2nd time there Alex had 2 people ahead of us so the guy next to him (idk his name he has a cool barber apron and tattoos) cut my sons hair and he was just as awesome I'll probably ask for him next time too. Very patient barbers very kind and welcoming. The first time I went I sat there I didn't know when it was my turn and he noticed I was waiting long and told me I'm next. I definitely will keep going there and recommend it to everyone. read more

I walked into this shop seeking to get a cut, I waited to see the results of previous customers. I watched every barber and waited for the perfected work from the clippers in there hands, I eventually walked to get my hair cut and the guy in the far right corner was soo rude and tried to over charged me, so I just stuck with basic and still tipped and left nevertheless I felt I was racially discriminated against and on top of everything the hair cut completely broke my head out with bump!! Never will return here dirty clippers! I still tipped! read more

It shows its open till 7. I just got turned away. I know it's Christmas Eve but you guys should put a revised schedule. Garbage

Best barbers in Carson! Quick in-and-out service and always leave my taper looking perfect.

It's an alright shop. Cheap chaircut but that's about it. Some of the guys can be a little rude. Watch out for the kids running around. Just a heads up, apparently, cussing is a big no no in this spot. If you're looking for a clean fade, this is not the spot. Good luck, trying to get your haircut how you want it they really don't care read more

First time i got my hair cut here..... so i'm doing the review about the lady barber who's stationed at the very back. I showed her a couple of pics of different hairstyles... and asked if she could make it so that certain aspects of each styles would be done on my hair. Surprisingly, she did it! I was really impressed and gave her a decent amount of well-deserved tip. Definitely going back here and look for her next time again :) read more

Love getting my haircut here!! Been coming here for 4 years now never disappointed, keep it up guys!!

Ask for Alex he won't disappointment he listens to what you want and he does a great job. Friendly and humble guy.

Najera's Barber shop is very welcoming, unlike others where it's awkward just waiting for your turn for a cut. All the barbers are very talented, clean tapers, and fades. They can do whatever style you desire. Also, price is very reasonable. They won't charge you an arm & a leg for just a haircut. Try them out. Best barber shop in the South Bay! read more

Just moved to the area and was looking for a barber shop to get my son a hair cut and omg! This place is AMAZING! Mind you.. is hard to find good barber shops. Totally recommend it. read more

Got a quick morning cut with Marco. He is a fantastic barber & overall cool ass dude. He definitely takes care of customers. What sets Marco apart compared to other barbers is the fact that he takes his time ensuring that your haircut is good to go & you as a customer are ultimately satisfied. Clean establishment, sterile equipment, & 10 points for the unique after-shave powder. The scent is great ! Side note, the Business does NOT accept credit/debit cards. Cash only. read more

i dont know what the people are on but some of the barbers are super unprofessional. tried to give this place a chance. certain barbers treat customers like trash, which is weird because skills overall isn't up to par. many, and i mean many, cleaner, better barbers in carson area who will provide better service. they also dont have appointments. is a decent barbershop for a decent price point. read more

I've been going to this barbershop for years, and when I do, I always wait on Marco no matter what. For those of you who have undercuts, side pompadours, mechanical parted combovers; pretty much any hairstyle that requires additional styling after showering; this is the guy you go to. read more

This barbershop is a good place if you need a simple haircut, but if you ask for something specific they don't know how to do it and fuck it up. The girl barber that work there is the shittiest one there managed to completely butcher the side of my haircut and cut my ear while doing so. Also, they will fuck your hairline up too, so do not ask for a line up. Prices are okay, but the wait time is long. If you want the best barber there recommend going to the old guy in the back or go to another barbershop than this one. read more

The wait is might be a bit long sometimes,.. but that's only because it's worth the wait. Best cuts in L.A.! Five starts!!! read more

I see they do a quick job at cutting hair. Other than that, it's your typical barbershop. There's about 5 chairs in here. By the way, it's right next door to SOL nightclub. read more

I can honestly say this is my barber. The barbers are friendly especially Tony "my guy" can't complain this is right near my house, you just got to come on a day when everyone and their momma aren't getting their cuts. Every time I come here they usually do a good job. The price is fair. I'm usually a regular and I've been to a lot of different places. I just wanted a good basic haircut. And they do a good job of it. read more

They cut hair really well here but I have seen the whole shop full and two of the barbers will leave for lunch. I think that's bad service. They should realize we have been waiting an hour some times for a haircut. And you leave for 30 min. I love the way they cut hair here and if this problem is resolved it would be 5 stars from me. I hope this review helps read more

Tried this place for the first time today based on the good reviews and price, and the place was overall nice; however, the haircut I received here did not live up to my expectations. Don't get me wrong, the lady in the back did a very good job on the sides and back of head (which is what I particularly worry about in a haircut). She took her time and was very detailed, which i was glad in noting to myself, until it came to doing the top of the head. I asked for a faux hawk style with a 1in length on top; what I got was practically 1in ALL AROUND the top. Theres no variation in length leading from the corners of my head to the center, which is what I expect a faux hawk to have at least. With this in mind, the hair on the corners of my head are nearly as dreadful since they just stick out now and give my head and hair a weird look. I should have been alarmed at a couple of signals I found. First, the way she was cutting the top of my hair. Trying to find a reputable barber who can do faux hawks well, I've felt many techniques being done on my hair, and sadly this is one of the worst turnouts that I've had (if it can even be called a faux hawk in the end). Her technique felt similar to the rest, but the results speak for themselves. Secondly, and probably the biggest one, is that there was no mirror in the back underneath the TV facing me so that I can check on the progress of my haircut. I had to trust her blindly with my hair, something that I won't take for granted now. Thankfully I accepted to have gel put into my hair since it made all the problematic areas stick out more noticeably. Overall my experience there was pleasant & clean, clientele was great, and service was superb. However, if the end result is a sub-par haircut, I don't see how these traits would make up for it. read more

Ive been a customer for 2 years in this place when one of the barber started humiliating me in front of other people whos waiting in the line (the barber on the last chair) very disrespectful and I have no idea what I did to him to act like that. Not gonna elaborate anymore. Im just very disappointed. Sorry tony you just lost 1 good paying customer. read more

Best barbers in carson my tony with the tats does it all tapers fades everybody good people their the best in Carson for sure thx my guy

Sparse and basic shop in Carson Street that does basic men's cuts (as far as I could tell). I waited for about twenty minutes for a couple of guys getting their cuts, and as far as I saw they excelled in getting the basic cuts down. When my turn came up, the lady doing my hair was nice but to the point. A bit of a family affair, but the kid who just came from school didn't bother me any nor slowed her mom from cutting my hair. Maybe not for guys who want their hair styled beyond a few basic shear and scissor work, or guys who want an "experience" out of their visit to the barbers, but for a good, basic and quick haircut for cheap this place is good. read more

Just got cut from the lady in the second to last chair. Wow. She doesn't know how to cut a taper. Beware. I don't understand how shops that claim to be reputable have barbers employed who don't know how to cut hair. If she wasn't comfortable giving a taper. Then say so. Don't just wing it and hope for the best. Won't be coming back and I wish everyone the best of luck. Instant regret. read more

I have been cutting my hair since I can remember. I'm very happy to say I have found the place where I will be cutting my hair from now on. Very clean cuts first and foremost. The barbers are always friendly and fair. There is no cutting at this barbershop which is by far the most common problem and barber shops with appointments. I love the "First come, first serve" protocol they go by. They make everyone feel special and that is what I enjoy most. Thank you guys! Keep up the great work! read more
