GUAPO CHOPS - I've been cutting at Off Code for a while now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best shops I've ever been a part of. From day one, I felt welcomed by a team that's talented, supportive, and genuinely wants to see everyone succeed. The atmosphere is professional but laid-back, making it a place where both barbers and clients enjoy spending their time. What really sets Off Code apart is the culture. Everyone pushes each other to improve, share techniques, and grow without any ego. The shop stays busy, the clientele is loyal, and management truly invests in the barbers. Whether you're just starting out or you've been in the industry for years, you're given the opportunity to build your craft and your business. If you're a barber looking for a place that feels like a team instead of just another job, Off Code is where you want to be. It's a shop that values quality, consistency, and creating an environment where everyone wins. I'm proud to be part of it and look forward to coming to work every day. GUAPOCHOPS read more

I booked a last-minute appointment here for my first visit and was lucky enough to get Carlos. The end result was way above my expectations! Carlos is not only incredibly friendly and professional, but he truly knows what he's doing. I walked in having absolutely no clue what direction I wanted to go with my hair, so I trusted his advice. I couldn't be happier with the final haircut. I'll definitely be back! read more

Jonathan as always sets the tone for the day. First client of the day my son was ready to get right. Of course I had a drink while I wait. Their service is always top tier. My son feels pampered here and that keeps us coming back. Thank you Off Code for being the best shop in LA ! read more

This spot seriously raises the bar for what a barbershop experience should be. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed--not just by the modern, elegant decor (sleek black trim, cozy mustard velvet couch, and high-end lighting) but by the level of service. The front desk staff greeted me with professionalism and warmth, making me feel welcome right away. That kind of energy sets the tone, and they nailed it. Carlos was my barber, and he exceeded expectations. I showed him a photo of what I wanted, and not only did he match it--he improved it. He took the time to really listen to my concerns and delivered a cut that was clean, sharp, and perfectly tailored. His attention to detail was on point, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his craft. Bonus: They offer a wide selection of complimentary beverages--coffee, tea, bottled water, and more--which adds to the overall feeling that you're being taken care of, not rushed through an appointment. The whole experience was elevated, professional, and refreshingly personal. I'll absolutely be coming back--and bringing friends with me. I highly recommend, you won't want to miss out. read more

This place is well worth it. Great grooming experience. I hit this before I go to court or a meeting. Always look your best when you are in a meeting or a courtroom. The beard shaping is worth it. I go once a month or every 6 weeks to keep my beard shaped up. Keeps my confidence up. read more

I took my husband to Off Code Men's Grooming Salon in Lawndale after I received a promo at my gym -- and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the salon had an awesome vibe -- fun music, a stylish and clean setup, and a team that made us feel right at home. Alberto, our hairstylist, was absolutely amazing! He took his time, listened to what we wanted, and gave my husband a fantastic haircut that we both loved. You can tell everyone there really cares about what they do. The whole experience was great -- fun, fresh, and professional. We'll definitely be coming back for future visits! read more

Let me start this review by saying that I had one of the BEST hair cut experiences of my life at Off Code. I'm not one to leave reviews often, but when a place like this delivers beyond my expectations, I have to leave a review. I've been commuting to Fullerton for my haircuts for the last couple of years and decided to give this local place a try after my fiancé found it online. After doing our initial research, we were impressed. From an aesthetic, clean website with an easy booking system to dope photos and profiles that highlight the specialities of each of their barbers/stylists. Not to mention they also have their own designated coffee bar where you can order a drink (free of charge) from their app--how sick is that? I ordered the Mazaplan latte, as recommended by Mateo, and it was straight fire. In addition to that, we noticed they have their own podcast and shoot their episodes from inside of the clean, minimalist set up at the grooming salon. The interior design here is a vibe and uniquely crafted. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The main part of this review is, of course, my haircut. I cut my hair with Carlos, who is the real deal. I've struggled to find people who specialize in doing scissor work and textured haircuts--luckily I found Carlos. Prior to the cut, he viewed my reference photos and offered recommendations and explained how he could achieve the look tailored to my hair and head shape. He took his time and made each cut intentional and nailed the desired shape and cut that I was looking to achieve. He is not only incredibly talented, but also humble, patient, knowledgeable, and keen to give you the perfect cut you desire. But to be honest, this is equally true for every stylist/barber here as well. While I was getting my haircut, i noticed the dedication and keen attention to detail each of the barbers had during their cuts. Also worth mentioning was the amazing post cut mini-facial + steam towel combo. And shoutout to Mateo for his extraordinary customer service, the amazing Mazaplan latte he made, and the genuine vibes this place emits. This place is in a league of its own and is a gem. When I came home from my cut, the first thing I told my fiancé was, "I can't wait to go back to my barber." You don't hear that often, lmao. read more

Quality, service and vibe all in 1. Very attentive to the style of haircut. We enjoyed the full experience.

I usually get the standard cut and style. Alberto is GOATED and I usually have no feedback or changes for my hair cut. Longest I've probably stuck with a barber. If you have the extra money, the amenities are nice. read more

From start to finish, my experience at Off Code was exceptional. I had previously only gone to quick fade barbers, so visiting a salon was a new experience for me. After reading the positive reviews and seeing photos on Yelp, I decided to book an appointment on Saturday, October 11th at 1:30 PM. I was admittedly nervous since it had been a while since my last haircut, and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, Jonathan completely exceeded my expectations. I showed him reference photos of what I wanted, and he took the time to explain each style to me and how to style it. I chose the "Haircut and Style Transformation" service, which included a haircut, beard trim, shampoo washing, hot towel treatment, and facial massage. Each part of the experience was luxurious and the final result was exactly what I hoped for--clean, stylish, and professional. This was easily the best haircut experience I've ever had. I've officially found my new go-to spot, and I highly recommend Off Code--especially Jonathan! to anyone looking for high-quality service and attention to detail. read more

Friendly staff and clean and aesthetically pleasing environment. My 17-year-old has curly hair and is traumatized by his past encounters with barbers that didn't listen to what he wanted or couldn't deliver. That was not the case here he loved his haircut. Found this place off of Yelp and scheduled online a same day appointment for my partner. We got Alberto & it was a really good time! Went for the cut & style. Alberto was detail-oriented, gentle, and kind. Gave reference photos and he got to work, all while making us feel very comfortable. There was also a mini facial that was included- all around a great service and clean cut. You'll be in good hands with Alberto (: This place also doubles as a bar! They have really yummy refreshments, from coffees to other drinks. Since we got a service there we got complimentary drinks, so that was a pleasant surprise. The drinks were genuinely so good. read more

When I tell you these guys really came through! My nephew hit me with "Tia I want my hair done BEFORE I start school" It was Sunday night, he started Wednesday, oh and he lives an hour away from the South Bay and was only in town for one day (Monday). He had something specific in his mind and apparently his regular barber his dad takes him to was just not gonna do for him. So I began my desperate search and found Off Code. I called first thing Monday morning and they THANKFULLY were able to take him that same day! Carlos was his barber and he did an awesome job! Do you guys know how PICKY and SPECIFIC a teenage boy is about their hair!? But Carlos and the rest of the guys were patient, thorough, and informative during the initial consult. Carlos made sure to cater to my nephews requests and answer any questions we had. They have a whole bar inside and make craft drinks. My nephew was offered a complimentary drink while he got his cut and I thought that was a nice touch to the overall experience. The whole experience from beginning to end was EXCEPTIONAL! From booking a same day appointment, to the final result and everything in between. My nephew could not stop talking about it, he felt "pampered, but not in a girly way" were his words! Needless to say, I think I got cool aunt points for this experience! Thanks Off Code for all the attention to detail not just in your salon, but in your clients as well! My nephew wants to keep coming regardless of the 1hr drive (yay me! ) read more

All of the products they used smelled great and definitely felt refreshed after they were done. I'm super impressed with the attention to detail at the consultation. It is not a rushed process so expect it to be as time lengthy as a women's hair appointment. I recommend this salon for anyone with a selective teenager requesting a trendy haircut. The inside of the place is very clean and there's a comfortable waiting area. They have an in house barista, so I recommend it to any moms taking their kid in for a hairstyle. I highly recommend Alberto, he really exceeded my expectations. 10/10 read more
