Great shave ! Thank you so much for getting me right in without an appointment. !!!!!!!

Took my husband here for a shave. Due to health issues he was too weak to do it himself. Eddie did a great job. He was not only professional but also very kind & considerate towards my husband. My husband left happy & told me this could get addicting. I guess we will be back! read more

Awesome experience! JC definitely took care. I came in for a beard trim not really knowing what i want just cause i haven't had many in the past (just mow it down when it gets too gnarly). JC made some recommendations and I'm super stoked with how it came out. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back read more

Never having had one, I've been wanting to treat myself to a professional straight razor shave for years. I have a bald head, mustache, and goatee and wanted all three to look their best for the day i was set to marry the woman of my dreams. With my wedding upcoming, I decided it was time to give it a try. I booked an appointment with JC a month before my wedding with the plan being to try it out, and if I was satisfied book again the morning of the Big Day. It was GREAT. What I really liked about JC was that besides for being extremely professional, he took a moment to explain each part of the process so that I understood what was happening and why it would benefit me. Couldn't ask for a better introduction to the professional barber shave experience. Needless to say I booked for the morning of the wedding. Made an appointment for my best man as well. And I looked GREAT read more

Beach Cities Shave Spa - Razor head shave, mustache and beard trimmed and shaped up, everything on point! Thanks JC! - Barbers Near Me - Manhattan Beach, California

Made my appt for beard trim and haircut $70. I walked in and the men are nice enough. But the shop was pretty dirty. They don't sweep after each client so u r stepping into all that. I noticed the tools exposed and not clean. . I sucked it up and did the deed. The neck shave was incomplete so I had to finish it off when I got home and had to go over the back of my head with my own trimmer. But the work done was good I just had to wash and use tree shampoo to sanitize my head and skin so I won't break out. I was over charged by $5. I didn't want to argue, paid, tipped generously and left. I won't go back. Sorry read more

I am super happy I found BCS Spa. I grew a COVID beard in the last 12 months. During the last 3 I stopped trimming it planning for a professional grooming. J.C. didn't just ask me what kind of look I desired, but actually advised me on what look would look good and what made sense for my face, which is what I was looking for. To top off the great grooming job performed with trimmers, scissors and straight blade, J.C. applied a hot towel to my face twice during the session. Very relaxing and satisfying. I entered looking like a caveman, and exited like a well groomed beard lover. Beach Cities Shave Spa, won't just take care of your beard grooming needs, they will make you want to grow a beard if you don't have one... A+ read more

First visit was great, JC was awesome and really helped guide me into the proper beard trim. Being my first time growing my beard, he really took the time to educate me and to lend some advice. The trim turned out great, and I'll be going back on a regular basis for sure! Great atmosphere, friendly group of guys, and an over all sense of pride in their shop. Very nice experience. read more

I've been going to these fine gentlemen for the last three years, and I'm embarrassed that it's taken me this long to getting around to leaving them a review. Both JC and Eddie are consummate professionals who get to know every client personally, provide a relaxing environment, have a nice selection of complementary drinks on hand, and (most importantly) are at the top of their games, especially when it comes to working with a straight razor. I will most definitely continue to go to them for the foreseeable future. read more

Needed a haircut after going over a month without one so I decided to stop at Shave Spa on my way home from work. There was two guys cutting hair, good reggae jams playing in the background, and one of them kindly offered me a glass of whiskey while I waited. Eddie took care of me and I couldn't be happier with the level of service I received. Suntory whiskey, good tunes, haircut, beard trim, and a soothing hot towel finish to help me relax after a long day at the office. Eddie is a true professional in every sense of the word and had me looking fresh.. needless to say my wife approved and I now have a go-to barber spot that is close to home. If you need a quality haircut or beard trim, be sure to ask for Eddie. He also mentioned that they offer facial scrubs which I might try next visit. Thanks again guys! read more

Hands down the best place to go for a beard line up. So good that they're always booked so don't expect to get a last minute booking. I have been here multiple times and never been unhappy with my line up, closeness of shave, or classic barber treatment (towel, etc)! read more

JC is the man. Seriously could not be more impressed with his haircuts. Consistent cuts / shaves and of course friendly service. read more

Amazing haircut and relaxing experience. $40 was a little expensive for fade but the experience of not being rushed and pampered along w great cut wAs worth it. Def old school and great experience. read more

They say if you can't trust your barber, who can you trust? That being said, I've been exclusively getting my hair cut by Vic for almost 5 years. He's a genuine dude with a killer beard and mad skills at delivering the crispiest of fades. This establishment is very well kept, nice ambiance and always professional. Alrhough I only get my cuts from Vic, I do notice that JC provides excellent service as well as great chops. I highly suggest making a reservation to get cut by either gentlemen. read more

If you have hair on your head and/or your face, there is no reason on planet earth that you shouldn't be coming here. JC is the dopest barber I've ever dealt with...and he's a genuinely nice, down-to-earth dude. What are the odds? His haircuts and beard trims are so good that if he was a complete a**hole I'd still come here! Before coming here I always used to do my own beard trims. Now, I refuse to touch my own beard. I have been spoiled by the level of service and the quality of the beard trims that I am now a snob about it. JC takes his time explaining every step of the process as he transitions from hot towel, to the shave, to the cold towel, to the mists and oils that he uses on your beard. It is truly a top notch, first class experience. I love that after coming here for months, he still goes through the whole process as if it was my first time. That's how you know he's committed to his craft. read more

I can't say enough about Jc! I have followed him from shop to shop because I trust no one else to take care of my facial or hair needs. It's been great seeing him move into his very own location. And transform it into exactly what he has mentioned to me over the years. If you're looking for someone that's much more than a Barber then you have found the right place. Now having Victor who is just as passionate about what they do. The team easily accommodate my needs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Southbay! Thanks again guys. read more

Awesome haircut from Eddie today. Perfect attention to detail and great tips on the local scene. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

The first time I got my beard shaved. The experience was amazing. I felt comfortable and confident in the shave they gave me.

This is a great establishment. Very friendly and awesome environment. You are greeted once you are entering the door which makes you feel appreciated and welcomed. I highly recommend Eddie.
