I went to get a mani and pedi on a Friday afternoon. Everyone was super kind and sweet. As I was getting my pedi a lady started on my full set dip powder. I should've known from the signs in the beginning it would turn out horrible. She's super glued her finger to my finger about four times. As she was dipping the nail I could see how sloppy the process was. I asked her is this supposed to look this way and she said "I'm not done yet I still have to file". As time went on I could still see this was coming out horrible. When filing my nails she cut my finger and I started to bleed. This set was so horrible somebody else had to come over and remove everything she did on my left hand and redo it. I was in the nail salon for 3 1/2 hours. Even after the second person came over and tried to fix both hands it was still horrible. My entire right hand looks like I need a fill and I've only had this done for 2 days. When going to pay she tried to only take four dollars off. This place is great for getting your feet done but horrible for getting your nails done. I will never go back there again and tell everyone I know not to go. read more

I have been coming to this location for many years, and Katie takes good care of me. She is very skilled and has a lot of experience. She does a good job working with her clients because it is important to her that her customers are happy. She also had a great sense of humor and is fun to spend time with. Although some other reviews of this salon have been critical of up charges and/ or over charges, paying attention to what services you are receiving would prevent that from happening, i.e., be informed and pay attention, don't blame your ignorance on others. Before your service, confirm how much it will cost and what it will include. If you are offered extra services like a longer massage or an exfoliating scrub, expect that there will be an additional charge. If you are not sure, ask. It seems like common sense, but apparently it's a problem for many people. read more

I have gone here for the past year with ok service. Some of the techs are great, others not so much. But it was conveniently located and I haven't been inspired to look for another place.... Until today. Two months ago they got new spa chairs which no one knows how to work or control. I have issues on my lower back and needed to limit massage settings to upper back. However the past three times the chairs would go rouge and roller down into low back... I have repeatedly complained. I give up. read more

Lisa is the best manicurist I have ever had! I recently went in to get a gel manicure, and she wasn't available so I settled for another technician, who didn't disappoint but I still prefer Lisa's style. She listens to what you would like, makes suggestions that are honest and often correct, and is the sweetest girl! I have also had a pedicure here before, not great, but still decent. I will definitely continue to come here to see Lisa. read more

RUSHED SERVICE, expensive, place looks nice but they try to jip you! I went in and got a full set of acrylic nails ($20) and a deluxe pedi ($35). My bf got a pedi too. i got no massage for my pedi (it comes with it) and the guy was like "i do french tip on you! look pretty!" and i was like uhm no just color. HE KEPT PUSHING. he still did it. turns out they charge $8 for that. So i paid $43 for 5 minute dip in hot blue water, clipping my toenails and a super rushed foot scrub, no massage. got my acrylic set. different guy and he had attitude problems, was really rough when handling my hands. dipped my hands in water for 3 seconds, clipped my cuticle and put on my nails. They were crooked and i told him to even them out and hes like "oh yes crooked huh?" (you saw and tried to get away with not fixing it??) I wanted shorter oval nails he said if short they have to be square (ive done short oval nails elsewhere) . He hadnt painted my nails and was already prepping another customer for their pedi. told me to pay while i waited. When they charged me they charged for a MANICURE I NEVER RECIEVed! i asked when they did the manicure? because i wasn't there lol and they got all panicky. Guy at the desk acted like he had no idea. , Then he tells me he did it when he put my hands in water(are you serious?) so i told the guy charging i got no massage or oil treatment at all. so the guy literally starts SMACKING oil on my FOREARMS not my hands! because my nails are wet (point is to do that before so my hands soften) and then goes back to doing the feet of another customer. to top it off i had a lady go up to me and tell me i NEED eyebrow wax. i said no ty i like threading. she gets a mirror and tells me i NEED. lmao jesus. THEY WERE JUST RUSHING THROUGH CUSTOMERS. trying to jip who they can. upselling services they dont give and were super pushy. very unhappy. taking my money elsewhere. read more

I came in because my nail person was on vacation & man do I regret it. Not only was Tina so rude but my nails looked horrible. She was very rough , cut me twice, didn't do light pink powder, didn't do thin acrylic like I asked & ontop of it all my fingers burned the entire time. It can't be that I'm sensitive to acrylic because I get my nails done every 2 weeks. After all the times she almost cut me & almost cut me, not once did she stop grinding immediately when I slightly tugged my hand, she kept going until I had to tell her it hurt. By far my worse experience in my 9 years of getting my nails done. I think it was my bad luck because I saw another gentleman & his service was great. They tried up-selling everything, which I decided to accept the $5 upgrade for callus remover, but it didn't help at all. Looks and feels EXACTLY the same. Having recently moved to the area I needed to find a new nail salon and decided to try out Nailspa Excel yesterday. My experience was all right, and thus just 3 stars. It's a pretty big nail salon with spa chairs, so if you come in for a pedicure, you only have a spa pedicure option, at $18 which isn't too bad. I came in at 1:30pm on a Sunday, and they were full, so I waited almost a half hour to be seen but I knew I was coming at a popular hour on the weekend. There could be more choices of nail color, and my spa seat wasn't the cleanest, but the actual pedicure was good and the woman was very sweet, she did a good job and I didn't feel she rushed it even though there were more customers waiting. Think I'll try another salon next time but my pedicure was worth the $18. read more

Great nail salon with reasonable prices - ask for Cindy. She does an amazing job with gel/acrylic nails. She's very meticulous and really takes the time to make sure your nails are pristine and fabulous. I never have a problem getting an appointment. They can usually fit me in same day. I did get my nails done by someone other than Cindy on my first visit and he did a terrible job. So find someone you like and stick with them. read more

I'm still sitting in the chair. This lady is terrible. There was no wait, and now I know why. She sat me in the chair, turned the water on scalding and walked away. As the tub filled up just to almost overflow, I told the manicurist next to me who said "OMG!" And turned the water off. In the middle of attempting to clean the scrub off my legs, she squirted me. Yeah you read that correctly. SHE SQUIRTED ME. Soaked my pants near my crotch. She gave me a towel, walked outside in between scrubbing my feet. Left me sitting with wet legs. Answered her phone while massaging my legs. Huge mess. I might come back, give someone else a try but sorry, I will not be leaving a tip. read more

I got a French manicure and it literally lasted 2 days. The salon offered to re-paint my nails but they still only lasted 2 days! Their paint is cheap and the manicurist talked in another language the entire time which made me feel awkward. The staff are incredibly pushy and keep asking if you want extra services without telling you how much those items cost. Our mani/pedi went from $27 to $85 with all the "extras"!!!! Completely NOT worth it! Two of my friends had bloody nails and it hurt them. I still have wax on my clothes from the paraffin wax. TERRIBLE. Will NEVER return. Horrific customer service. The manager knew we were upset but did nothing. (over $300 for 4 mani/pedis and 1 mani). I will go to a real salon next time like Color Me Green. read more

One visit was enough. I am not a super girly girl. I like getting mani/pedis as a relaxing treat. I usually stay quiet or read a magazine. I follow instructions and I tip well. Once I find a place I like, I'm a very loyal customer. Last Sunday I went in to get a basic mani/pedi. I'm not ready to get back into the gel ritual, so just wanted regular polish and no frills. What I got was a bleeding toe and a bleeding finger. The lady doing my pedi kept rubbing the nail file on my toe's skin and not my nail. She did it enough to make it bleed. It hurt so badly that I ended up in tears. Meanwhile the guy doing my mani clipped my cuticles too close and caused my finger to bleed. He quickly put some blue liquid on it to get it to stop and thankfully it didn't scar. But my toe is still sore 6 days later. I couldn't wear certain shoes this week and I didn't want to wear sandals. The worst part was being told it was my fault because I didn't tell them I had sensitive skin. Sorry buddy, but I've been to many nail salons and NONE of the others have inflicted pain. It's called customer service. I paid and left as quickly as I could. I will not be back. read more

They're trying to tell me it's $60 for a pedicure. I've never paid so much at a little Asian salon. Or anywhere period! I just wanted to get the standard pedicure with acrylic powder (color). Which apparently is an extra $19. Walked in and out. Never will go back! read more

The 5 stars, is just for Lisa the lady who did my acrylics. I got there at 6:30p today and she was very meticulous about my nails, and making sure she did them the way I liked it (very thin and natural looking, kinda short). She actually seemed like she enjoyed doing it. I will definitely be going back to have them filled. She not only did a fabulous job on my nails, but also she made sure I was ok. My car wasn't starting, so she tried to help me out and offered to call her husband to help me. Talk about a nice person, and talk about above and beyond service. The rest of the salon itself is your typical run of the mill nail salon. I found it to be clean and pleasant enough to make it my regular place. Also, the price is much more palatable than the salons in the nearby areas. Go to Lisa, you won't be disappointed, just don't book her up so I can't get squeezed in for a fill! read more

So I've given this place a few tries over the past 3 years each time hoping it will be better and this last time is the last straw. I went there for gel nails and a regular pedicure. Pedicure lady asked if I wanted a callous remover and when I politely declined she made a face and almost yelled at me that I really needed it. Insulting and far from true as I have faithfully been getting pedicures every 2 weeks. Then to the lady who did my gel nails Helen. Not only did she cut me with not even a sorry, I asked for 3 colors just to be a little different and after she does them she asked was it my birthday. Confused I said no and she grabs my hand, holds it high in the air, and yells across the salon in obviously a language I don't understand laughing. I always feel good after walking out of this salon, having had the most relaxing and beautiful pedicure done by Kim. Today was no different. I have been coming here for at least 16 years and have found Kim to be the best for pedicures (caring and conscientious about her work) and Lisa the best for manicures.
