Partly my fault because I picked this place without looking at reviews. This was the most unhygienic nail spa I've been to. The counter had past fingernail dust all over it. He was using the same brushes on everyone and he was cutting someone nails beside me and they were literally flying around. I left with bubbles in 3 nails and my thumb nail not even covered so now it's peeling. He even painted over my previous color. Is that a thing? I'm just hoping I don't get an infection. read more

I have zero days off, my nails and pedicure every two weeks is a treat to myself..today may have been an off day for them, idk this was my first time there. I feel like they promised to be able to fit us in, because they didn't want to turn down business. I'd rather someone say come tomorrow rather than sit and wait for over an hour, and then start someone's fill. It was a waste of time. I gave them 3 stars because the pedicure was actually great (the one service they started and completed in a timely manner). I'm now waiting for my daughter in the parking lot, they started her full after my pedicure...I still need d a full set but don't have time left. I was looking for a place to trial getting my nails done for my wedding found this place on Google had pretty decent reviews so I thought I would give it a shot! As soon as I called they were more than happy to get me in! When I showed Don what I wanted he didn't even hesitate he said Yep sounds good and immediately started working on my nails and did an amazing job! I'll definitely be using them for my wedding nails and for all of my bridal party! I would highly suggest the salon if you wanna try something new and if you have something that is a little more design heavy, ask for Don and set up an appointment, you won't regret it! Where do i start? *visible damage to ring & pinky finger on left pic*Place is dirty, completely empty, worker was napping in a pedicure chair. no music, silence. When doing my pedicure she didn't shut off my friends water and we all literally had to almost yell before she heard her to shut it off. Theres only one person apparently that does fills or gel because me and my friend had to go one at a time so we were there for hours. When doing my nails he started using a slicing motion by holding the nail drill vertically and then tried to RIP my old acrylic OFF. It fucking hurt and i asked what he was doing and examined my nail to find cuts and damage. He tried mansplaining how it was lifting and he had to do that and i kept saying no and he said i'll just be gentle okay. he had a horrible attitude the whole time. and in the middle of doing my nails he took a phone call from at&t about his internet and was literally yelling at customer service on speaker. He finally starts painting my nails after so much unnecessary filing and the red gel was smeared down both sides of all my nails, i told him before the light and he said no i want them like that. then after the gel was cured he didn't put a second coat of red when needed and then filed my edges AGAIN. smeared this disgusting oil on my hands and i went to wash them and the place was just so littered in trash over there. THEN IT WAS $100. i got a fill & a pedicure i've NEVER paid that much. Our experience was horrible never going back and i feel bad for the sweet lady that actually gave me an amazing pedicure because she could make so much more working for someone else who actually CARED. read more

Consistantly on the hunt for a reliable and consistant nail shop, I stopped into Nails Unlimited. I was happy that the salon was so open and cool (as in temperature) I opted for the $35 pedicure which included a massage, essentials salt rub and parafin wax. I was very happy with the pressure point massage that came with the pedicure. Ann did a fantastic job, though could have smoothed some rough spots a bit more, all in all I was happy with the pedicure. My nail fill on the other hand... Horrible and even though they say a fill is $14 they charged me $20. I probably won't be back, ever. read more

I recently stubbed my toe and with out being too graphic, my toenail has never been the same. I've been to multiple places where they try to just paint over it or glue on a white plastic nail with acrylic over it but nothing has worked. I'm on a work trip here on OKC and on the plane ride over my 'fake' nail decided to come off, again. I went in to Nails Unlimited and within 5 minutes had a perfectly shaped new toenail. After about 20 visits, I feel comfortable upgrading this sweet little shop to five stars. Don and his team do a great job making sure *everyone* feels welcome and comfortable. I've seen people from all walks of life come in and be treated exactly the same. My nails are always perfect and stay that way for at least two weeks. My pedi is always relaxing yet comprehensive and my toes stay so nice for so long, sometimes I go too long between pedis. I know they don't like to cut my fingernails so short - I know it makes their jobs harder. But as much as I write (and much of that is on the phone screen rather than the computer) long nails simply don't take. Once I explained this, they've always taken care to trim my nails down very short. But the real story here is the people. You can get a good mani or pedi at several places around town. But to be treated with genuine kindness and concern is worth writing about. The more I've come in, the more I've seen everyone here treat people so warmly. Today I watched Don give an eighty-something woman a mani, get up to walk her out, and give her a big hug before she left. After visiting for a while, I learned he has a bunch of elderly ladies he takes good care of, even going so far as to visit in their assisted living facility if they're not feeling up to coming in. You never really know what random acts of kindness others are performing. I feel like I've had a little glimpse. I plan to thank those who go above and beyond with the small reward that is my loyal business. read more

I was visiting OKC for a couple of weeks and found myself in need of a fill and pedi. Actually, I had two ingrown toenails and desperately needed help! I was in pain and needed someone with knowledge, who would take the time and interest to help me. Turns out, I came to the right place. As my pedicure was taking place, several staff members came to assist. Finally the owner Dan, came by to do a final check and also provided nail care. Since my time in the spa chair was running long. Dan did my fill standing up, as my toes were being painted. My finished nails looked better then my normal nail salon. Further, the owner was really, really nice. I saw on several occasions that he and his staff did sall jobs (a polish touch up for a Christmas party) and didn't charge for his regulars. Was in a hurry, so I found somewhere close only for it to take 3 hours. Not only that, but when pushing back my cuticles, I bleed on 4 fingers. So what did they do about it? They tried to dig out the blood with their own finger nails & use a utensil to get the blood off. All of these efforts were pointless because they ended up just painting over some of the blood. After all that was said and done I paid $70 for the worst mani/pedi I've literally ever had. $80 if you count the girl chasing me down outside saying she forgot to charge me for my eyebrows & can she add it on to the tip? I decided to find somewhere a little cheaper than the nail place I had gone before, so I checked out the reviews for NU. It's a mixed bag, but I decided to try it. I walked in and it felt like the looks I got were a stare-down. Was I wrong in reading that this place wasn't by appointment only? Then a man (who seemed to be the owner or manager) asked how he could help me, which sounded a little condescending but I'm willing to chalk that up to the accent. I know that tone comes off different to different races/cultures. So I said I wanted a full acrylic set, and he had me sit down to wait since all the technicians were busy. I said that I already had an acrylic set on that I wanted replaced, and that there was a gel polish on them, then the man nodded and went back to the person he was already servicing. Soon it was my turn and he lead me to his work station and tried to remove the polish from my nail and wasn't able to and said, "Oh, you have shellac." Yes, like I said, heh. So he sent me over to another lady to have them removed. Good God that hurt. I thought people went to nail salons to remove acrylics painlessly? It would have hurt less at home, methinks. It felt like she went a little too hard with the electric nail drill file buffer. After that I decided I did NOT want acrylics from there, so I just did a manicure instead. The man before seemed offended by it, though. I changed my mind, oh well. It was almost like he was chastising me. The massage was... painful. My boyfriend tried to tell me that massages are supposed to be painful so it will feel better later, but I've had enough in my time to know that's not true. Like I was nearly whimpering and squealing it hurt so much. I was convinced I'd be bruised. The parafin wax was pretty neato, though. All in all, I'm not ecstatic about my nail job, but it'll do. All that being said: The staff, for the most part, seemed nice enough. A few people who were likely regulars were greeted with laughs and smiles and conversation I didn't think existed until they walked in. So maybe it's worth it if you become a regular, but I do not have that sort of patience and money. So next time I'll probably stick to where I went before. Well please read this and stay HAS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE! #1 the place is not sanitary (dust and nail powdere everywhere) If they don't take the time to even change the towel at each station after each customer Do you really think they actually ever ran anything? No.. #2 there was a nail tech sleeping on the couch where customers would wait to get seated. #3 The guy cut me with his drill and made my thumb bleed which I then had to go buy antiseptic and band aids for!!!! #4 the guy that was working on me had black nails he def had not had cut his nails for awhile. My favorite nail salon in Oklahoma City for a manicure and pedicure! Don and his staff know all of their regular customers by name -- and it doesn't take but a few visits to become a regular. I never feel like they're rushing through to turn over chairs to get to the next customer, something that really bothers me at other places. They also never pressure me to upgrade to a more expensive service. The prices are competitive and all spelled out on a "menu" at each chair. Well this time I only came because I couldn't get in with my normal lady so I decided to come back here since I had a good experience last time. First off. They lady who greeted me was rude. I told her I needed a pedicure and eyebrow wax and she didn't say one word. Walks off and just starts running the water? Gets me in the seat. Then changes the seat that was very uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure the lady doing my pedicure was new and "training". She didn't know how to do a white tip. I visited this place today after reading posts on Yelp about the best places in OKC to get a mani/pedi, so I figured I would try it out since I'm about to go on vacation. The location is pretty great, since it's right across the street from where I work. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a guy named "Don" (I think..) and he let me know where to sit & even brought over brand new issues of People Magazine! I don't typically read magazines like these, but I thought, "why not?" and in my opinion, it was a nice gesture rather than staying glued to my iPhone the whole time. (They don't have TV's- which is a plus!) The woman who did my pedicure was really nice, and not too over-bearing with her foot/leg massages and did a fantastic job with getting my feet back in summer-ready shape. I opted for the $25 "Spa Pedicure" which included a hot towel wrap, oil leg massage and pretty extensive massage to my feet. The lady tried to up-sell me to the next "Delux" pedicure, but I politely declined. By the end of it all, my feet were super soft & I felt incredibly relaxed. The only thing that prevents me from making this a 5 star review is the decor. The service is fantastic, but the inside needs a little upgrade. The massage chair I sat in worked, but the remote attached to it had buttons that were completely torn off, so I just started pressing random things, not knowing what would happen, until I started to jiggle out of my chair. (I've finally reached a point in my life where I no longer feel awkward with these chairs!) It would have also been nice to have some complimentary bottled water, but maybe I'm too much of a princess. Bottom Line: Check them out! They're a great place for a great price! read more

Toenail polish is good - not spectacular, but definitely good enough for day to day wear. I just got a great pedicure at Nails Unlimited. The technician was very thorough and paid attention to detail. Unfortunately during the pedicure, she asked me to pick out a sea salt scrub not letting me know that there was an extra charge for the scrub. Then when she was ready to apply polish, she got up and brought me 4-5 other similar colors. I picked one but again she didn't tell me there was an additional charge for this polish. All of this confusion could have been avoided if she just pointed the additional charges out on the menu card next to me. Of course, misunderstandings/language limitations happen but the employees' response was unacceptable. They fixed the charge but did not make eye contact or say goodbye after this took place. It was clear that they were upset with me. Unfortunately a very good pedicure experience (4-5 stars) was tainted by an unprofessional response by staff. read more

I went here last week and I had a very good experience. They spent a lot of time on my pedicure and gave me an awesome and long foot massage. That's a plus! Everyone was super nice. My only complaint is really about their polish selection. There wasn't much to choose from, and the ones they do have are not the trendy colors that are popular for the season.
