Trying to get nails taken off and the young man seems to be in a rush. I have cotton stuck all over my toes and i keep asking him to clean it off and he tells me that he is not done yet. I said i understand that but im going to go somewhere else and he continues to just sit there like he didnt hear me. Just clean this mess off of my feet and let me go. I wont be back here. I wont recommend that any one i know come here. I told him how to get the nails off...another payron told him how to get the nails off.....his co-worker told him how to get the nails off and i end up with cotton ball-toes. There are at least 4 people working in here and there is one other customer and now i am waiting for someone to ring me up. Cutting cuticles after soaking in water for a minute and filing my nails is not a manicure. Gel polish I chose looked different on every finger - from half transparent to almost dark. Redid with the darker color on top, still looks awful. They gave me whole 5 dollar discount! Just stopped at CVS and got a regular polish to cover this mess. Ugh. Do NOT come here!!! I just moved to Vegas and needed my acrylics removed and gel put on for a wedding this weekend. Never in my life has someone ripped my acrylics off the way this place did. They did not soak them, they were not gentle. They took the plastic piece that they lay on your finger before you get acrylics and slid that under each acrylic nail of mine RIPPING them off! they made 2 of my fingers bleed and ripped off so much more of my natural nail than they needed to. I've never had acrylics removed this way and it is so painful. Now i can't get gel put in because there isn't enough of my natural nail left!! I'm so frustrated. I live in LA & I just wanted a short natural set, mani, & 2 pedicures. I paid close to 200 for that. If the shops in LA were open i could've gotten more for that price and they would've been better quality. I had to ASK to get my cuticles cut. This nail salon is by far my favorite. I live in Summerlin and drive out here almost every other week just for my appointment, so that should tell you somethin. I always book with Lee. She is awesome and so accommodating. They get booked up quickly especially on weekends, and their walk-in wait time can be long so try to make an appointment if possible. Back to Lee...she's great!! She always does my nails exactly how I want them and their gel is so good. The longest I went without getting them done, was almost 4 weeks and the gel still looked great. I give this place ZERO STARS. My family and I came in to get a full set and pedicure. For one they over charged me $80 for just white powder and clear nail polish over. Every time I said ow or it hurt he would say "stop moving" as he continues to file hard on my real nail and cut my skin. After he then had an attitude and messed my shape up which was coffin and ended up being stiletto because he ended up filing to much. AND THEN my cousin got charged $85 for what they said they were only charging $70. We see the transaction on her card and they charged $85 so $15 more and the nails were not worth $70 in the first place . She got a regular full set no shape and when we called before we came they said their full sets were $30 so her nails should have been $35 the extra $5 for the length. So they over charged and also a woman told my cousin she "did not have enough time for that". When we called after to tell they over charged her card the same lady calls me a "dumb liar". Absolutely amazing. I was visiting Las Vegas and in desperate need of a full set of acrylic nails and gel polish that wasn't going to cost me $150 like at the spa at my hotel. Not only was their work flawless, but they were all so friendly! Take this from a Minnesotan :-) I've never been to a nail salon where the friendliness almost made me not want to leave. It's a small shop in the corner of a shopping center across from the Southpoint casino- unquestionably a hidden gem! They were near the hotel where I'm staying. Went in for a mani/pedi. They were busy, so I said I had some errands to run and I would come back later. the manager said that they could take me now so I stayed. She ran the water for my feet and when I put in it scowled me, she had it way too hot . I pulled my feet out and they were bright red. She took a girl that came in after me, but I think that's because she realize she was going to be doing the full manicure pedicure with nail painting and make more money from her than me. I waited more than an hour, so I paid for the pedicure then left. Would not recommend at all. Although there was another customer in there who'd been coming there for 7 years and said they do good work. read more

This was the worst nail salon I've ever gone to in Las Vegas. I they typically cater to women who are NOT ethnic. I saw two woman of color who entered the salon and they were ignored by the staff as well as myself. When women who were not ethnic AKA African American, we were totally ignored. I spoke to one of the African American women and she said did you see how they spoke to them and ignored us?! I said yes totally. She left in frustration. I can clearly say that they place is racist. Service was very unprofessional, my nail technician was answering her phone the entire time she was doing my nails. All I wanted was for my acrylics to be taken off and get a manicure with no polish since my nails have become very weak over the last few years of wearing acrylic. She was very rough on my nails didn't pay any attention to what I was telling her. I also decided I wanted to get the paraffin wax pedicure to treat myself. I will let the photos speak for themselves.... FYI the pedicure bowls didn't even have sanitizer liners and the tools they used they simply dip in a sterilization solution. I previously had a bad experience here but since it had been a year or so I decided to give them another chance especially since they are across the street from my house and let's just say I instantly regretted it...The girl who did my nails wasn't very nice, didn't say but 2 words to me and she did a horrible job!! She was too busy talking to the guy at the table next to hers and answering her phone and when it was all said and done My nails weren't even, the paint job sucked and I still tipped her like an idiot! My nail polish started coming off about 3 days in and when I decided to take it off it was even worse without it, you could see how uneven it was - one of my customers (who owns a nail salon) made a comment and told me to come see them to fix it. I am staying across the street at South Point and booked a pedicure at their spa until I saw it was $49 for 25min quick and sweet pedicure. I found this gem Nails Unique on yelp and quickly canceled my appt at SP. It was a quick walk across the way and because it was the middle of the day on a Tuesday they weren't slammed so I was seen right away. My girl was so sweet and did a fantastic job. The best part the service wasn't rushed, she was thorough and my toes look great. Cost me $20! I even made an appt to come back Friday to get a manicure before my flight.
