Finding hair, nails, lash people are hard enough but even harder when you're new in town and you moved here during height of pandemic. So the first year I just read a lot of reviews and made mental notes of places that seemed busy as I drove by. Also I didn't know down here it's called SNS. In Chicago it was called Dipped. But I digress... I tried a few random places because I have a toddler and never plan in advance for me time. No horrible experiences but not good enough for me to leave a review. I did have Serene bookmarked, but each time I called they had a wait and I couldn't be bothered. Dang I should have just waited! I finally went and did my nails with Shayla. She's the BEST. It's been 2 weeks and I still admire my nails. How they do look so good. I've gotten tons of compliments on them too! I need nude nails for work and this was perfection. The reason I no longer go there is because front desk/managers/powers that be can't abide by their scheduling. If you don't have a 10am appt, you won't be seen at the time of your appt. I gave the establishment several opportunities, but there were many times I had to wait over 45 minutes for my appt time even when I show up earlier. This last time my daughter was waiting 30 minutes and was told by the person who makes her rounds that "the person before you was a walk in so we can't control that." Unfortunately, we will be going elsewhere. If we are mindful of their time by making appointments and being on time, they, as an established business, be mindful as well.

The person I had got a little to cut happy with my cuticle on my right thumb. She has trimmed it and it bled-not excessively but enough for me to watch her like a hawk. I went without any additional service of polish - decided to immediately wash my hands to prevent any further infection. She did apologize and had provided some antiseptic for the bleeding that occurred. This is not my usual salon so I knew my expectations- with that said-this will be my last time coming here. Positive note the Royal Pedicure was really nice - my feet were a lot better - my manicure was not great at all.

This was the first time I did dip nails, and they turned out beautiful and perfectly shaped/filed, my only complaint is that my cuticles weren't worked on nor did a receive a hand massage with lotion (maybe this is only for manicures, I have no idea lol). My toes were super cute and they offered a large selection of color options. The dip nail alone was $45 and I guess that's roughly around the same price as other places The owner was at the front desk when it was time for me to pay and she was so sweet!
