I explained multiple times that these were my real nails and that I only wanted gel polish today. The whole experience was frustrating and felt like they weren't listening to what I was asking for.

Very nice place but my problem is the nail tech didn't close the nail polish properly on bottle and it fell and hit my brand new Nike Air Max's. I didn't make a big deal about the manager said she would figure out the best way to handle this and will get back with me. I felt that was reasonable due to it was busy in the salon and it's so close to the holiday. Called after hours she was out at dinner told me she would call me back ... Never did. I called her today 1/09/21 at 11am she said she would talk to the tech and was extremely rude about like I was interrupting her day. I was asking follow up questions because it's now two weeks and you told me you would of been discussed it but didn't. Then offered For a cleaning... How do you clean nail polish off cloth shoes ? She already told me that day I got my nails done that it would ruin the shoe more. So doing it once it's dry is ridiculous. Long story short she basically cursed me out and hung up on me because her worker made a mistake. Told me I'm constantly blowing up her phone when I only called Three times over the course of 2 weeks twice today and once the day I got my nails done. I have records. I will be talking to my lawyer about further processing. ALSO SIDE NOTE : Owner husband had COVID 19 to the point were he was hospitalized and felt comfortable enough to have a full blown convo about it in front of me with the nail tech while doing my nails. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable... they didn't offer any extra cleaning. I would of gotten up if he wasn't in the process of doing my feet. Paint quality isn't great started chipping days after have a gel manicure. They are all extremely unprofessional and doesn't know how to run a efficient business. Just throw the whole place in the trash #needsjesus #needsbettercustomerservice. #TRASHHHHH

After it changed ownership and became Nail Avenue the service has gone way, way down. It started with raising prices. I put up with that because the location was convenient and I wanted to give the new management a chance. And of course, everyone is riding the inflation wave to raise prices on everything. Then, on one instance when I had made an appointment and had scheduled childcare around it to actually leave my house for 2 hours to get this nail appointment done for myself, the owner called me two hours prior to say she had to cancel because she didn't have enough nail techs. When i said ok well I'll just have to find a new place, they called back to say they would squeeze me jn. Today, I had scheduled an appointment, was confirmed and when I got to the venue at my scheduled time, I was told they had been trying to reach me because they are way, way behind schedule and cannot take me today. I asked them how I had no texts or calls or why they wouldn't have my number in their system if I booked the appointment through the very number they should have tried to reach. They had no answer. Needless to say I'm done with this place. I will not tolerate poor service and a waste of my time.

Upon arrival, I saw the front desk lady and she was polite and told me to wait a few min in the waiting room. Then I was ushered to the first room and was told to take off my sweatpants before my waxer came in. I forgot her name but she was a nice, older lady. I left my undies on during the wax--I just had to hold it in place after she maneuvered it around, depending on where she was waxing. So let me get to the bottom of it: The pain level. All of you first timers who said the Brazilian wax didn't hurt, you're LIARS! -_-" That stuff STUNG so bad. I even took a painkiller BEFOREHAND and that didn't do NOTHING! I wasn't screaming in pain or anything but it still didn't feel good. The lady told me that the more I get waxed, the less it'll hurt and I believe her because when I first started getting my brows waxed, I used to tear up but after a while, it started feeling tolerable--sometimes even good. :X All in all, although it's 40 min away from me, the $30 price & the good service will have me coming back again.
