I do not recommend this nail salon. The customer service was terrible. My nail tech kept trying to push acrylics on me when all I wanted was a simple gel manicure over my natural nails. I explained multiple times that these were my real nails and that I only wanted gel polish today. She then grabbed another tech, who asked me the same question again, and I had to repeat myself and explain once more that I just wanted a regular gel manicure on my natural nails. The whole experience was frustrating and felt like they weren't listening to what I was asking for. read more

I haven't found anything wrong with this nail place, and they are open on Sundays which is convenient. They are efficient and friendly. Pricing is quite affordable/reasonable. However, I have noticed my gel polish has peeled a little bit more here than from some other places. But that could also be that my own nails have grown thinner. It's a solid 3. Good prices, friendly folks, okay Mani and pedi. I paid $56 and got gel french manicure and french pedicure. I wasn't told of any deluxe version of the pedicure so maybe there is a better one but it was just standard generic lotion, hot water. It was $5 extra for removing calluses but even still the price was dirt cheap. My toes turned out great but my nails we're a funny shape and the white line was kind of uneven. The display showed Gel Powder Sets for 31$. The lady charged me nearly 18$ more for Shape and it being matte. The nail lady would only paint the top of my nail bed she wouldn't paint the sides , when I told her to paint them she said "no" also they trim down your nail beds a lot when you get a full set. Shaping is different than what I'm used to but they did a decent job besides that I guess. I wouldn't come back for anything but a polish change or pedicure. Advice to the shop: don't say no to a customer, people aren't always in the mood to argue for something they're paying for. UPDATE : today is the very next Afternoon and my thumbnail broke already. Usually I get gel powder because it lasts the longest, but I was doing light office cleaning at work and my thumbnail is already broke. the SNS polish display does not match the color you will receive. I picked out a very very light pinkish white color. Before starting the technician warned me that it was very light and I was okay with that because I like very neutral colors on my nails. Halfway through I questioned the color because they were coming out bright hot pink! He told me the color was correct. In the end my nails look flamingo pink. They then told me that they had an issue with the manufacture of the dip powder and the colors were not coming out as advertised. They offered me no discount (not that I needed one) and they did not offer to re-do them. I asked if I could come back so they can take them off for no charge, and the receptionist told me he had to check to see if that was okay. I will not be back. Very disappointed. read more

I'm pretty surprised by the bad reviews here. I've only been here once and already decided that this will be my new nail place. This isn't a super fancy or frilly salon but the talent is definitely there. Pedicure was perfect and the lady did a great job painting my toes. I got sns for the first time by a lady named Lee. She did an amazing job and she knows she's the best. There were zero mistakes and my nails seriously looked like perfection. All were uniformed length and painted perfectly. Let me start off by saying I been going to this nail salon since I first move to the sandy springs area in 2015. When I first started it was well staffed and everyone was so friendly. I usually like to go to Cathy because she is so friendly and does a good job. I went in there today to get my nails down and Cathy was not there so I asked the owner Chris how long is the wait he said a hour. I waited for 15 mins and he then tells me do you want to come back tomorrow when Cathy is here. I said no because it's urgent I get my nails done today...He then goes on to say I don't feel like doing your nails. I asked why? He says because I just don't feel like doing your nails I don't want to do it. He has done my nails multiple times and I never complain I just like to go to Cathy when she is there. I'm very disgusted with the way I was treated especially considering I have been coming to this salon for years and even recommended them to all my friends.I will never be returning to this nail shop. Chris used to be such a nice guy but he is now a bitter old man with a nasty attitude and no understanding how to run a business professionally. I'm only giving this place one star, because there was a male tech who was very nice and friendly. However I have never been so unsatisfied with my nails or eyebrows (female tech assisted me). My gel polish peeled off the same day I had my nails done! Also my eyebrows looked exactly the same as they did when I came in except mow they were uneven. I didn't ask for any additional shaping because I was terrified my eyebrows would look worse. I decided I would fix them myself. I did come back the next day to fix all of the nails that looked bad. The lady seemed upset that I came back and was very rough and kept stabbing me. I was pissed! But i remained quiet and let her finish. The next day the polish starts chipping again. My roommate and I were looking for a nail place close to our condo and happen to stumble across Nails 4 U. We walked in and were greeted and taken care of immediately. Chris did a wonderful job on my nails (I got a full set) and was very friendly and funny. I brought my two year old daughter with me and Chris painted her nails for free, it was very sweet! He was also very patient - there were one or two times when i had to get up and bring my daughter back to her chair. I paid $22 for a full set and my roommate (who got a full set, pedicure and eyebrow wax) paid $48. This was an overall great experience and I will definitely be back for a fill in! read more

I went a couple of weeks ago for the first time and while there are things they can work on (the appearance / cleanliness of the shop and customer service / acknowledgement when clients walk into the establishment), I love my nails! I sat with Danny to only get a gel polish change but I must say, 2 and a half weeks later my color has only chipped on one nail and you can barely even tell it's chipped. I will continue to request Danny. He was quick and precise. When I told him I noticed that one nail had clumps he immediately fixed it, without an attitude, and they've looked perfect since. To the woman below commenting on price, it is WELL KNOWN that acrylic nails are cheaper than gel nails- that's why so many women still get acrylic instead of gel. You will pay $35 at most places for a gel manicure and then whatever for your pedicure so the woman below saying $45 for both- that's the same price I've gotten from Ohio to Atlanta to Marietta to Sandy Springs. Went in on a Wednesday after work. There was no one in there, surprisingly so. I got a mani/pedi! The staff was friendly. I liked this place and a bonus, it's close to my place.. $37 for mani/pedi! They prefer tips in cash, who doesn't :) The place is clean and spacious. The only complaint I have is I got no massage with my pedicure, part of the reason I pay someone else to do it. I got a light, quick massage with my manicure. Since I was the only person in there, I would have thought I would have had extra since they weren't doing anything. Disappointed!!!! I would go back though. Maybe ask them next time. It's in the Publix shopping center, yet, I never noticed it was there before. Maybe some advertising would help them. read more

Alright, so I'm pregnant and my boyfriend thought he would be sweet and go by and get me a gift certificate for a mani/pedi for this place. I had been there once before and was happy with my nails. Me and my sister went today to redeem that and she also got a mani/pedi. I got gel nails so I knew it would be a little extra, in many places I've been to it's about $7 extra for gel nails. They tried to charge me $45 dollars for my mani/pedi with gel when my gift certificate was for a mani/pedi for $27 so that means almost an extra $20 just for gel nails......no I don't think so. My sister got a full set of acrylics and a pedicure for only $40 (since when is a full set cheaper than gel nails?) so I know that wasn't right but I said whatever and gave them my card for them to charge the extra. The lady came back with the receipt and the full $45 had been charged to my card. I didn't have $45 on my card as I explained to the lady u understand it was a mistake but now I will have a $30 overdraft fee for this. I only came here bc I had a gift certificate, I do not have extra money right now for that. The ladies kept laughing about the situation, I don't understand what was funny..at all. And then made me get on the phone with her boss..twice. (So unprofessional!!) she told me that they could not refund or anything like that. After talking to her boss for 30 minutes, they decided they would void it. I walked over to my bank and they explained that voiding and refunding are not the same, voiding it only voided out of their system, it will not refund it to me. I told the lady this and she still demanded my card back to charge me again for extra money. What??? These people are insane. Worst experience of my life. I picked a color that was supposed to be baby pink but when the man put it on, it was the brightest pink you've ever seen. He was pissed that I was unhappy with the color, and i told him its not my fault that the color came out looking like that. He then ended up changing and all the colors that they had as baby pinks were all the same Bright pink. I finally just ended up taking whatever he offered, i left this place unhappy with the color and how my nails look. The man was never apologetic. Can I give 0 stars?!? Ok so I've been getting gel nails for the longest time and my nails grow thick and sturdy. I normally go to another nail place but they were closed so I bit the bullet and went here praying for good results. That didn't happen. The woman was so rude to begin with. No smile, just nothing. I had gel on my nails from my other place and normally they soak the gel off and scrape it off my nails. This woman DRILLED my nails like it was acrylic! Guess she was feeling lazy since there was a woman waiting behind me. My nails started to burn as she drilled my real nails. I asked her to put 3 layers of gel since that always helps to keep my nails from breaking or chipping. She gave some snooty answer about how that didn't help my nails do anything. I look at my nails and they are PAPER THIN!! I don't even think the polish is gel!!! They look like normal polish! I got my eyebrows waxed after as well. Next day my real nail chips off after I put a sock on!! Then I was looking at my hand the next day and the nail polished had chipped off on another nail. Yesterday my middle nail just chipped off in the corner. I just got out of the shower and my pinky nail tip broke off!! These are my REAL NAILS that they just f......up!
