I love the clean and fresh look of this place, so when I spend a couple hours here, I still feel like I'm indulging and taking time out for myself. I go here for gel manicures, SNS manicures and pedicures, and I have been happy with the services every time. The nails last a long time, regardless of the service, which is my primary concern. They do a high quality job. The staff are also engaging and create an atmosphere where you can just unwind, relax, vent, and just be yourself, which is what you want when you are going somewhere for "me time." Definitely recommend them. They take walk ins but sometimes they can get quite busy on the weekends so it's best to call in for an appointment. read more

WORST CUSTOMER CARE EVERRRRRRRR . IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARRRRRS I WOULD. Went to get my nails done a day or two before Christmas. Very nice place but my problem is the nail tech didn't close the nail polish properly on bottle and it fell and hit my brand new Nike Air Max's. I didn't make a big deal about the manager said she would figure out the best way to handle this and will get back with me. I felt that was reasonable due to it was busy in the salon and it's so close to the holiday. Called after hours she was out at dinner told me she would call me back ... Never did. I called her today 1/09/21 at 11am she said she would talk to the tech and was extremely rude about like I was interrupting her day. I was asking follow up questions because it's now two weeks and you told me you would of been discussed it but didn't. Then offered For a cleaning... How do you clean nail polish off cloth shoes ? She already told me that day I got my nails done that it would ruin the shoe more. So doing it once it's dry is ridiculous. Long story short she basically cursed me out and hung up on me because her worker made a mistake. Told me I'm constantly blowing up her phone when I only called Three times over the course of 2 weeks twice today and once the day I got my nails done. I have records. I will be talking to my lawyer about further processing. ALSO SIDE NOTE : Owner husband had COVID 19 to the point were he was hospitalized and felt comfortable enough to have a full blown convo about it in front of me with the nail tech while doing my nails. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable... they didn't offer any extra cleaning. I would of gotten up if he wasn't in the process of doing my feet. Paint quality isn't great started chipping days after have a gel manicure. They are all extremely unprofessional and doesn't know how to run a efficient business. My wife and I went to this spot on Saturday. We arrived half an hour before they closed and were happy that they were able to accommodate us. I opted in for the mani & pedi, whereas my wife opted in solely for the pedicure. The location is convenient, directly on Roswell Road, across from the QT gas station. The inside is spacious and clean, with modern amenities and offerings. In terms of actual service and work completed, I must say that both were exceptional. I came to this place twice and love the atmosphere and décor. The customer service and workers are very pleasant and welcoming. The only reason I give this place a 4 is because of the add-on charges for nail shape etc., which is a little annoying. Other than that I'd recommend it. Also, the second time I came here there was a new tech that did my nails and it just doesn't look good at all. For it to be a couple of days after my visit, it already looks like I need a fill-in. Worst experience I've had ever. I called in advance to find out if I could get the service done. I went in and the pedicure took an hour. There was only one person doing acrylic and when I was finally ready to do my refill she said they were about to close... but I was instructed to come and that I could do both pedicure and refill. Stopped in randomly on a Sunday because my regular nail place had closed all of a sudden. The young lady that did my pedicure was very personable and she did a pretty good job. The seats are a little odd at the pedi station because you can't lean the seat back, it's like a long bench situation, I had a dress on too but we made it work. Either way, I came backs 2nd time for SNS manicure. They didn't have the largest selection of SNS colors when I went but I managed to find a color and the owner / manager did my nails she did a good job too. Everyone that's works there appeared to be pretty young hence the modern / cute decor I assume but it's a very nice nail place in Roswell/Sandy Springs. Their nail colors are neatly organized which I think is awesome and they have a little system that works so you don't feel like your in a factory...pick a color pick a color next next...none of that here. I do suggest making an appointment before going as they don't have many people on a daily basis (I only saw 2 people working and there were like 4 patrons). I went in on Thursday January 14, 2015 to receive a fill in on my already placed artificial acrylic nails. It is now Saturday January 16, 2015 and it looks as if I have had my nails done for a week or so and to top it off what I thought was gel polish is beginning to cheap off. As of tonight I can pull an entire corner piece of my thumb polish up. While I was getting my nails done I saw a sign that states they are not responsible for what happens but this is clearly a matter of the technician not doing something properly or just not informing me the colors I picked does not last long. Even though I'm writing this it will not change the $30 I wasted on this place as I will probably only receive an "apologetic" response to help there business keep people coming back. I am trying to inform any person that will read this and heed my advise save your money or just go to a different place. This nail salon deserves zero stars! I first visited the salon a few weeks ago to get a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish. The nail technician was not personable or friendly at all. She was texting on her phone as she worked on my nails. Although she was rude and unprofessional, I really liked my nails, well I did until the next day. The polish on my left thumb bubbled a little which I know happens. After thinking about my experience, I decided to give the nail salon another try so I called and booked an appointment for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. While en route to my appointment, the nail technician called me to ask if I could come earlier. I told her I was en route and would try my best to get there as soon as I could. Once I arrived she rushed me to pick and color and rushed through my nails. She filled in my nails in less than 25 mins. She kept texting and commented that she had somewhere to go. I quickly picked a dark green color. She was rushing and my nails did not get enough time under the light. Both thumbs and my right pointer finger bubbled and the top layer of polish came off. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back to have it fixed since I was out of state. Once I returned home, I went to the salon in hopes of having my nails polished again; however, the salon is still closed. The poster states the salon will be closed starting Thanksgiving through Monday. I left and went to another nail salon to have my nails done. I don't understand why I was treated so poorly. Both times I felt like the nail tech rushed through my nails and just seemed to not care about my experience. I even tipped her $7 or $8 dollars hoping it would make her day better. I got the impression that she doesn't care for her profession not only because of how she treated me, but also how she treated other customers. My plan was to talk to her today and ask why she treated me so poorly, but since the nail salon was closed I wasn't able to. I hope things get better for her. I wouldn't recommend this nail salon until the nail techs learn to treat those customers with care and respect. read more

My main complaint about the experience I had here is my massage was not good. One of the main reasons I get a pedicure is for the foot massage, so that's very important to me. The one I got was short and half-assed. She didn't even massage the lower part of my legs. Just my feet and with no force. Basically just rubbed lotion into my feet. Boooo. I was not happy paying $45 for that. The actual nail part was OK. Not great. I got French tip and the lines are not consistent or straight. I'll be trying somewhere else next time. read more

Went there 8-8-17 for a mani/pedi. It's clean and they will say hello when you walk through the door, but I it's perfunctory. Maybe if I was a return customer it'd be different? Don't waste your money on anything more than a basic mani/pedi like I did- the time they spend on your feet (and the foot massage that you are paying the extra for) is nonexistent. The gel finish that they you pay more for- because it lasts longer and is harder to chip- doesn't last and of course if it chips- which mine already has loading the dishwasher- I noticed the sign when I was there-you have to pay for repair even to gel finish. All in all- if you just need your nails clipped and painted- they will work just fine for you. read more

I visited Lavis for the first time. I live in Sandy Springs but have been driving to Alpharetta for my pedicures. Today I didn't have the time to run to Alpharetta and Lavis was nearby. I have to say the inside is really nice. The outside does it no justice. I went in around noon and there was no other customer there so I hand the place to my self for a few minutes. I like how they have there color selection set up so you can actually see what it looks like on a nail before you choose. However they have tons and tons of colors which is not a bad thing. I choose the Lavis Pedicure which was $35 and added in gel polish for $15 more. It was a little pricey but I could have gotten the regular pedicure for $25 with gel and it would have been the same price as my Alpharetta salon. The lady doing my nails was very attentive and made sure to ask after everything she did if that was good and it was. Altogether everything was great. I would recommend if you are looking for some place to try out. I will be back. The color I picked was Sangria which happens to be one of my favorite drinks and now nail color. read more

I am here on vacation visiting family. My sister and I wanted to get our nails done. We drove up the road and found a nail salon close to where we were staying. We decided to give it a try. We got there around 4:40 not knowing they close at 5:00. Nobody in there informed us that they were closing at the time. They still took us and agreed to the services we wanted done. Half way through doing my nails she denied the services I wanted claiming they were closed and she had somewhere to be 5:30. She was also texting on her phone the entire time while she gave me my "half of a manicure" We exchanged our differences and the nail lady who I found out was the owner looked at me and said "I don't know what to tell you, your not winning this argument." With that being said, I was done and just wanted to leave. I told my sister that we are leaving. When it was time to pay she tired to charge me $40.00. For what I don't know? We both walked out with no polish on our nails and neither of our nails were properly manicured. I began to ask why is it $40.00 and she came out from behind the counter, locked the door and threatened to call the cops. I was not looking for anything free. I just wanted to be charged accordingly. She then said I'll take the $5.00 bc you didn't get a color. I said neither one of us got color? At this point the money wasn't even the issue. I just wanted to leave. I ended up paying the $35.00 and left. Lastly, my sister who does not like confrontation at all waited until we got into the car to tell me they cut the skin on her pinky nail while trimming her nails causing an open bloody wound. If only I would of known this before but the owner was acting so irrational it caused my sister to get really nervous and didn't want to add to the insanity going on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this salon to anyone. I religiously get a manicure pedicure every 2 weeks and I have never experienced something like this in my life. I felt so disrespected and extremely belittled. Please do yourself a favor and never go to this Salon. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a relaxing therapeutic experience.
