I showed up a few minutes before my appointment time and Imani, the owner and operator, was finishing up with the client before me. A few minutes later, the client was leaving and it was my turn to enter the studio. Imani sanitized the chair and all her equipment and also rolled out a new piece of paper for me to sit on. She also wore a mask. Although I've been getting Brazilians for years, I was nervous about this being my first time at a new place. There was absolutely NO need to be nervous as this was the quickest, most-painless wax experience I have EVER had. Whatever type of wax she uses is gold and needs to be mass-distributed! Imani was very careful, meticulous, and personable, too. The wax took about 15-20 minutes and cost $40. If you pay with a card, there is a $2 fee added to your total. Now, this studio is much different than what I was used to as it's operated out of a one-room suite and only one person can be serviced at a time. But this was not a problem at all. You also receive a loyalty card where your sixth wax is free. Overall, my experience was one of the best I've ever had and I can't wait to come back!
