I recently just moved to Sandy Springs and have tried a couple of other nail salons in the area but none have compared to this one. I had first came upon this salon for a pedicure and loved it! I visited again for a fresh set and Cindy the owner is such a delight to work with, she's professional, kind and friendly. It's really a breath of fresh air to walk in here, you're greeted with a warm smile and complimentary water. Cindy takes the time to acknowledge and learn from her clients. The price is also not outrageous like some other salons nearby. There's recently been a 20% off spring discount and I've received another 10% off towards my next visit, I will definitely be coming here regularly. read more

I had to find a new nail salon and came across New Top Nail and originally thought so far so good but am starting to wonder ? Seriously I am torn about this place I will definitely give them a 3.0 there are reasons for this. The pedicures last = nice. Fill in's - On more than one occasion I've had problems with the nails from the get. For some reason I can leave and they look great and then I will look down and one has mysteriously started lifting (at times a couple of hours later) not kidding. Hey, "I live on the other side of Sandy Springs so getting back here for a nail to be fixed the next day is a huge pain in the ass" o.k. is all I'm ever told. Would I suggest going well if you live near this area sure a good technician is hard to find my hopes are that this one won't be going anywhere soon. *This review was eventually started in June it is now August and the tech is gone with no forwarding address agghhh !!!! read more

This place is really nice. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they provide great service. I got a manicure and pedicure at the same time. I was able to get my pedicure and also get full set of acrylics put on while I was sitting comfortably at the pedicure station. Both ladies were very nice. During the process, I wasn't excited about the way it looked; however, I was extremely please with the results. I did accidentally get nicked on one of my cuticles, but the lady was very apologetic about it and made sure she cleaned it very well. The color I got changes from dark purple to light purple based on the temperature, which is pretty cool. Unfortunately, this is the coldest March I've ever gone through. So they're pretty much consistently dark purple. Definitely recommend this place. read more

This little nail salon will get the job done. I went with my friend who got a regular polish manicure and I got an SNS powder manicure and regular pedicure and we were both pleased with the results. Bim was my nail tech and she was fabulous! Very interactive and made sure she understood what I wanted and what my expectations were. I didn't like it from the get go, felt like there was a gap at the base but was reassured by the staff that it was ok. Barely one week later I have to either remove it or have it fixed. The shop wasn't busy at all and very clean. The prices were extremely affordable based on my experiences from other nail salons across the country. The ladies were quick and done neatly. I guess you get what you pay for. This was probably The worst mani I've ever gotten, but I can't even be that upset because it was only $10. None of my nails are the same shape, and most done even have nail polish all the way to the edges. I asked for these corrections, but my manicurist didn't understand me. The towels were stained, the salon was messy and all the polishes were old. I came home and my fiancé asked "aren't they all supposed to be the same shape?" Lol. Do not go here. Went in for a fill in. My nails were previously blue glitter. Wanted a nude, see-through color to look natural. She rushed through the whole thing and did not even bother to take off my previous color so the blue is showing through the new color, which not to mention is not what I wanted. I visited the salon for the 1st time last Sunday with my sister for pedicures. That will be the LAST TIME that I will ever be returning. First, the place was filthy. Second, our pedicures (with Gel) only lasted 25 minutes. Never in my life with the most basic pedicure has one taken less than 45 minutes. They totally rushed through both of ours. It was basically a color change and a quick scrub for the price of a pedicure. At one point, the nail tech dropped the pumice stone on the floor, picked it up and continued to use it WITHOUT STERILIZING it! I was appalled! Then for the very last step of the pedicure, the technician rubbed oil on my feet and then said I was done. How was I to walk in my flip flops with oil on the bottom of my feet? Finally, I went up to the counter to pay when we were finished. I asked the lady if she was the manager and she said that she was the owner. I let her know that we were NOT AT ALL satisfied with our experience. I pointed to show her the tray connected to the chair's filth with someone else's nail trimming/dust (I've posted the photo). Her response was that they were busy. I told her that I would have gladly waited to have had a clean area to sit. I also shared with her how the "complete" pedicure was 25 minutes and that a basic pedicure has always lasted at least 40 minutes. She repeated again that they were busy. That is no excuse! She then preceded to say that "nobody else complains about their services." She never once apologized. I asked her what the total was. Handed her my card and left. So not only was it a bad experience, the service and response from the owner was totally unacceptable. Do not waste your time and money. read more

They provide very minimum care towards your nail, mostly outdated in comparison to other shops. The ambience wasn't great at all, no music nothing and some staffs like to complain. I've been going to Newtop for about 10 years. While I haven't lived in Atlanta in about 7 years, I pop into Newtop every time I come back. I chose them originally after going to another, more upscale, salon that wasn't properly sanitizing their equipment. New Top always sanitizes, and my nails always look beautiful. read more

This was actually the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had. They cut my nails the opposite way from what I asked. They failed to match the gel color to the pedicure polish. They actually went rogue on the gel polish color and then told me that was all they had. There are bubbles and colored dots stuck in the gel polish. The polish job is sloppy, roughly textured, and looks terrible. I would not recommend this salon. read more

I saw this place because it was next to the gym. It seems smaller but inside feels relaxing. The owner was so nice to me, she did my gel mani. Her staff did my Pedi. Everything came out great and my nails look great. They were professional and all their tools are clean and sanitized. I was surprised how many colors in their gel collection were. Gave it a 2 because the environment was clean and I got serviced as soon as I came in. Got SNS and have only had them a week and a half and had to get them redone elsewhere . It was gapped as if I had so much new growth and I only had them for a week and a half. Usually I will have SNS nails for 2 to 3 weeks. Obviously it wasn't a good job. So after reading the reviews, I'm guessing they have either come under new management or completely let themselves go. Walked in with a friend on a Saturday afternoon for pedicures. Had a wait of about 20 mins (though they got the chairs ready and asked me to sit down after 5). The places looked shoddy and unkempt, but faces were friendly. Polish selection was super lame-- they had nothing under two years old-- China Glaze and Color Club mainly, a few OPI and even fewer Essie. The first two colors I chose were so thickened and dried I had to grab a third choice. When they finally got started on my pedicure, I immediately noticed that the salon employee did not wear gloves, she used tools from a bin (not sanitized), and even used the dreaded razor that was certainly used on the customer before me! Gross. There were a few ouchy moments with cuticle scissors, the foot/leg massage was meh, the polish went on smoothly and without a mess. All in all, I won't be back. read more

After my workout next door at LA Fitness, I decided to pop into New Top Nail for a manicure. I know I was the first customer of the day, but the place wasn't very clean. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in awhile (there were nail clippings and popcorn on it) and the towel they used for my manicure looked like it had already been used....there was stuff in it. When I questionned the lady about the towel, she said it was clean. And, aren't you supposed to put lotion on my hands for a manicure? I guess some places do and some don't. Worst experience I have ever had. I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years and have never been so disappointed in the outcome. I had a break during work and was in the area, thought I would stop in to get my nails done. I brought a picture with me as to what I wanted, as soon as I showed her, her eyes bugged out as if she couldn't do it, so before she started I asked to see if she could - she assured me "yeah, I can"... on top of that the nails were not the shape, length or thickness I asked for. She made a comment "are you sure you can work with nails like this?" Excuse me, how is that your business and furthermore you don't know what I do. Additionally, she kept stopping to text someone back. I asked her to fix two nails and she blamed it on the nail polish saying it was too watery, so that's why it bled. No, you weren't paying attention and it looked so messy. I will never go back and am disappointed that I had to pay for the services, let alone pay a second time somewhere else to get them exactly how I requested the first time. read more
