So extremely disappointed! Even though we did make an appointment earlier in the day for 30 minutes before closing, we got there early for my daughter and I to have a pedicure on Mother's Day. They took my daughter immediately and started working on her, but I waited more than a half an hour for someone to start me. At one point, someone said "she was really hungry and couldn't wait. " When she did start, I didn't even get an apology. She asked me if I had gel already on, and I told her I did, she just started peeling it off, taking layers of my toenail with it. Then, when I went to pay, I was shocked to find out they charge an extra $20 or more just to put on gel polish on top of the cost of the pedicure. Maybe I am just out of touch because I haven't had a pedicure in about a year because I usually do it myself, but I found that to be ridiculous on top of the fact you could not use a credit card. They accepted a variety of apps, but had issues getting some of them to work. I will never go back. read more

I usually toss out flyers I get in the mail, but this one caught my eye. "Under new management", and "save $10 on your next visit" sounded like good things to me after a poor experience at my last visit here quite a while ago. This salon is close to my house, so I really was hoping for a better experience, and decided to give it another try. One thing that stands out is there are not one, but two Caucasians working here now. I certainly don't care one way or the other, but I've actually never been to a nail salon with employees other than of Asian descent. Interesting. And one of them did my nails, and she is super sweet. I felt badly, because I came close to closing time the other night, and I know from working in retail, that was always an annoyance to me, like please don't mess up the shirts I just folded. But not Jordan, she was happy and she didn't mind at all to be there. Even past close, no one made me feel like I needed to get my butt outta there. I love their massage chairs. Very comfortable, love the kneading versus the pounding. I could sit there for hours if I had the time. They do have the must-have plastic liners for your feet. My manicure and pedicure look great. I typically get the normal polish, but they offer SNS and gel, I believe, too. My favorite polish is OPI, and they have a nice selection of colors. I'd like to see more glitter polishes, though. I don't know what they use for topcoat, but I love it. It kept my nails looking so shiny, even after drying. I'm really glad they sent that flyer out, and that I gave them another chance. This experience was very different in a good way, and I'll be more than happy to be stopping in again soon. And definitely will add some pictures next time, too. read more

It's under new management and I really like what they are doing with the salon. They still have more work to do but so far so good. Much cleaner then before and a lot of more colors to choose from. I'm new to the area and I'm glad that my nail tech from Buford has moved to Queen nails. Lindsey is one of the Best. Tim and his wife are very friendly and they are really good as well. Ever since my first mani-pedi here, wife and I have had pedi's once a month. Yesterday was the BEST! The original salon was sold about 14 months ago, and there was a grey period due to personnel turnover, deteriorating chairs, and lack of warmth. I've been going there for over a year now. The owner has vanished and for the last 4months she has been in Vietnam. The staff is clueless and no one cares about the place. The quality of work suffers. Yesterday I was there for a pedicure and manicure. The person did a horrible job and I left the place being very upset. I was there for over 2hours and my kids were tired. She asked me to come back the following day to fix it so I did. Not to mention, I left her a $12 tip. When I came back the next day, she treated me as I was a problem and an inconvenience for her. At the end, she didn't want to put lotion on my hands and that's when u lost it. The owner is always very friendly and knows his customers. Staff is friendly and they will be sure your nails are done to your satisfaction. They have a nice variety of nail polish colors. Have been coming here for years and have always been happy with the work. However, today, I'm not thrilled with Queen. I went in with a set of SNS nails that I got somewhere else when I was out of town. They were growing out and I needed a more professional style since I have a week of interviews next week. I went in and told the ladies I wanted to get gel nails. I had a specific OPI color in mind I wanted, and have been happy with my gel nails from Queen in the past. I picked my color and they got the bottle of polish ready. Everything was fine and they were filing down the SNS nails which I thought they would do, until the woman working pulled out a jar of SNS powder. I told her I wanted gel, not another SNS set and she told me "no it's the same thing" and we went back and forth for a few minutes. She refused to give me gel nails and I even at one point asked "so gel is not an option?" and she told me no. This is after they set out gel polish in the color I specified and there was a large shelf of gel polish behind her. I let her do the work anyways because I needed my nails done but it left a bad taste in my mouth. SNS is more expensive than gel so the only explanation I'm left with is I was forced to purchase a more expensive service that I did not ask for. The job was done well and I have been happy in the past, hence the 3 stars but ignoring the requests of customers and arguing with them isn't the right approach. read more
