I'm a big fan of indulging in self-care, especially when it comes to skincare. Being a lover of Korean skincare as well, I ran to book an appointment. Located in Sandy Springs in a large plaza, Kskin recently opened its doors, their first in the US! I booked my appointment for the basic facial using a coupon code and added on the eye treatment for $12 to take the appointment to the next level. When I arrived, the studio was easy to find and due to the size of the plaza, so was parking. This place is so beautiful! It was lovely in the foyer and I loved how they showcased the products. I was greeted and then waited just a few minutes until my esthetician came and got me. The service areas were separated by ceiling to floor curtains, giving each guest their own bit of privacy while getting their facial. I was instructed to put my items in a basket that went under the facial table, and then laid back to be pampered. I can't tell you every single step that happened, but it was all so refreshing! I swear I drifted off at some point but the R&R refresher was so needed. Walking out with my newly glowing skin, I felt invincible. I can't wait to look further into their monthly memberships so I can glow like this on the regular.

They have this $109 per month deal where you can get as many core treatments as you want, bring a guest for a free core treatment each month, and have some store discounts with affiliated partners like 10% at jinya ramen. A core treatment is only 15 min but is priced at $35. A combo would be $5 treatment but I'm not sure on their efficacy. I also added a head and neck massage for an extra $8, and it was quick. I feel like they went for two rubs and then called it quits. They put the express in Kskin Express Facial. I wasn't blown away by this experience. If you order online, you also must put downloading a 50% deposit. Free parking in plaza lot. The green background is nice. They sell their own beauty products. Here's just a quick overview of this fabulous facility: 1) innovations implemented such as high-frequency treatment 2) fresh menu with plenty services 3) very useful estheticians who love to share information 4) clinical grade formulas suitable for all ethnicities 5) careful and considerate of products, hygiene, and time My esthetician performed the vitamin c peel and added the electrode wand to my service. I've had multiple peels and not one time has it been added to my neck. The face and neck have the same thickness and usually the same shade. It makes sense for the neck to be an area apart of the peel but it's not a norm. It is great they include the neck in the peel service! My service: The peel has a robust gas-like smell, but it's not an aggressive peel. The esthetician was cautious of the number of strokes in one area and time; this is very important! She was very concerned not to burn me. She created a vaseline barrier around sensitive areas such as my nostrils, eyes, brow bone, lips, so there was less intensity to my senses with this precaution. She activated the peel with water and lightly placed a thin clothe damped with water to initiate it. After just a minute or so it was removed. Following my peel was the oxygenating high-frequency treatment for congested skin and dehydrated skin. There was a mesh covered on my skin; I imagine for hygiene purposes and possibly the strength of the currents, so there was no direct contact with my face. Afterwards, she added the marine mask which she briefly massaged into my skin although it is naturally deep penetrating. I appreciated this gesture. She kept on the mask while she moved down to my shoulders. She then performed a decollete massage and the oil smoothed on my skin like butter on hot toast. She was very skilled in working on my shoulders and neck. I enjoyed this much-needed facial, and they've won me over. I'm excited about my next trip in the coming weeks. I give this joint a solid 4.5 stars! Improvements: The Q-tip incident, ahhh... don't double dip, you can cross contaminate! It slipped the esthetician's mind.
