She was also extremely supportive of the fact that I do the majority of my skin care at home with spa level tools. Most ppl will try to talk you out of it bc it's taking money from treatments they could be charging you for. I decided to go to her bc of the reviews and her pricing. The woman I was going to get my peels with increased her peel price from an already sky high $275 to $325! For basically a 20 min 'treatment'. Needless to say, I won't be going back there. I'd been in need of a legit facial for a while now, and after searching around for how to get the best experience and bang for my buck, I settled on trying out Nancy because of all the positive reviews she has on yelp. Boy, did Nancy deliver! Nancy runs a one-person indie medical esthetician shop in one room of an office right near Piedmont Park. (There is a small, free parking lot behind the building.) Nancy's room is on the second floor of the building, which looks like a yello house. Her office has a facial table/bed and desks with her tools and products she uses. There is a mirror, coat hooks, and chair for clients, and there are a couple windows letting in some sunshine. She kept gentle music playing, but occasionally you can hear cars driving by on the road. Nancy was incredibly helpful. When I made my appointment reservation (my first one with her) online through the website (http://bit.ly/1oMehk7 select Facial), I'd mentioned that I would LOVE to get the microneedling done, but I couldn't afford it at this time. Instead, I would like to get the best value I could for resurfacing my skin. When I arrived and got settled in, Nancy recommended that I just add on microdermabrasian to a regular customized facial for an extra $20. This is exactly what I did, and I was very pleased with the results. For at least three days after my facials, I noticed a distinct difference. My skind was so smooth! It was really hard to keep my hands off my face just because I liked touching it so much, haha! Nancy's recommendation and the expectations she had set for me were on point, and I would highly recommend her expertise! Nancy also has a very welcoming nature about her. While still remaining completely professional, she is also very casual, and I felt comfortable with her immediately and all through the facial session. At the beginning of the session, she told me what to expect during the treatment, and she said, "Feel free to ask questions or go to sleep if you want." I knew right then that I liked this woman. I love to ask questions during facials, because I like learning about skin treatment and how to take care of my face better. Nancy answered everything and gave me advice on how to care better for my skin. For the record, she never suggested that I buy any products, but she did talk a little further about how she thought my skin might react to microneedling if I decided to come back and try it. She also suggested that I be more diligent with the skincare routine I already have in place. We talked and laughed a lot, which is exactly how I love my facials, but I'm certain that if you wanted to have a quieter facial treatment, that would be A-okay. There was a time when Nancy had placed damp, light cloths over my face and was drawing cool glass balls in patterns over my skin. It was possibly the most luxurious sensation I've ever experience, and definitely the most luxurious thing to ever happen to my face. Later, when I asked about the glass balls, she showed them to me and laughed and called them her blue balls because they have a blue liquid inside them. All this to say, this part of the facial may be included, I'm not sure, but if you can, I'd recommend requesting this part because it feels so dang good! It's hard to not go on and on. Suffice it to say, I was 100% pleased with my visit at Nancy's, and I'd highly recommend anyone go by and see her. Enjoy! read more

I am so grateful that I found Nancy on Yelp. There's a reason why all of her clients absolutely adore her! I had a bit of hyperpigmentation/dark spots on my cheeks that I wanted to remove. After reading such positive Yelp reviews, I decided to get a chemical peel from Nancy - and the rest is history. Since then, I've had 2 more chemical peels and I just finished a microneedling session with her. She's extremely intelligent, sweet, funny, and just a great friend. On the flip side, I would never trust anyone else other than Nancy for a facial. (In fact, I've never had a facial before meeting Nancy, and now I refuse to look at any other options for chemical peels and microneedling sessions). After these sessions, not only did my hyperpigmentation greatly improve, but also my skin started to glow. I been struggling with acne for many many years and can never find a permanent solution to my acne problem. I went to visit her the first time for a free consultation. She asks my daily routine regiment and helped me out through the process. That same day, I did a peel. The result was amazing. Reduced some redness and scars. She recommended me some product she had called Clenziderm. She wasn't pushy about selling the item, but I did end up giving the pore therapy a try. So far after using it for couple weeks, so far, no new break out and current blemish are fading away. Maybe this is my solution to acne after all. Wow! What a great experience! This was my first facial so I really didn't know what to expect. Nancy is one super lady! When I arrived, I was greeted by a smiling woman and she made me feel right at home. Then, she explained the process, told me what to expect and ask if I had any questions.
