From the beginning, there were red flags. I initially signed up on a payment plan and later tried to pay it off early, but was told I couldn't. Instead, my account was transferred, and I had to continue payments through Milan. That lack of flexibility was frustrating. During that same process, a representative tried to upsell me to a full-body package for "less than $1,000 more," only to later say that price didn't actually apply to me. That made me question the pricing structure and transparency, especially knowing others are clearly paying less. Before starting treatment, I specifically raised concerns about whether my hair type would respond well to laser. I was reassured that if the nurses determined it wouldn't be effective, I could either switch treatment areas or receive a refund. Based on that, I moved forward. Fast forward 17 months of consistent treatments every 5 weeks--and I've seen little to no improvement. My facial hair has had virtually zero reduction, and my leg hair growth is still significant enough that I have to maintain a strict 5-week schedule just to manage it. That is not the outcome I was promised. To get a second opinion, I visited a dermatologist. They confirmed that after this amount of time, I should have seen significantly more hair reduction. In fact, they noted no visible improvement on my face at all. On top of that, scheduling appointments is incredibly difficult. You have to book months in advance due to limited staffing. Recently, I had an appointment scheduled for March 27, only to be told last minute that no nurse would be available. The next option they gave me was 4 weeks later--which doesn't work when treatments are supposed to follow a consistent cycle. Because of their booking issues, I already had another appointment scheduled 5 weeks out, so this just created more disruption. Overall, this experience has been frustrating, expensive, and disappointing. I have followed every guideline and stayed consistent with treatments, yet have not seen the results that were promised. I would not recommend Milan Laser to anyone and am actively seeking a refund.

I was very excited to try this but for the amount of money spent, it needs to be easier to schedule and communication needs to be better.

I have a very low pain tolerance, and they have both taken the time to have a conversation with me to distract me during my service. There are different pain levels for lasers so be honest about your pain tolerance. They also have more than one laser option for those of us with melanin! I've only had a couple of administrative issues and they were resolved easily and quickly. Nothing at all to drop a star about so five stars it is!

I asked LaserAway a very straightforward question: **What identification was verified when this service was purchased, and how did my personal information become associated with this account?** I sent **multiple emails requesting an investigation and a written response**, including asking how the patient's identity was verified, what identification was provided, and what steps LaserAway was taking to address the issue. Other than contact from the provider, I received **no meaningful response from LaserAway**. I had to file a police report and disputes with the credit bureaus and collection agency to address the situation, and the fraudulent account negatively affected my credit and caused significant stress. For a company handling customers' personal and financial information, I find the lack of communication extremely disappointing. As we went about our day, we called in advance to let them know that we may be running 15 mins late. They were super accommodating on the phone and so we did not rush to the spa. We reserved for 60 mins each and were told that we could have ~45 mins massage - which I thought was reasonable because we were 15 mins late. However, the venue insisted on charging us for the FULL HOUR. I thought it made no sense at all, and we were not told in advance. Worse still, my friend later told me that it took her massage therapist FOREVER to come into the room, so she only received 30 mins of massages and had to pay for the FULL HOUR on her birthday. The front desk staff were super nice to us when we walked in, but became very unfriendly upon checkout. One member was also reluctant on giving us the birthday discount, thought it was clearly stated on their website. I hate to leave a review like this, especially because I enjoyed my massage. But I was really unhappy with the experience at the spa. We did not receive any of the pampering other guests have received (e.g., no tea while waiting etc). I would not recommend it to others.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON…read more I trusted SEV Laser with my skin, and I deeply regret it. The problems started long before the injury. At one appointment, I arrived and was told I was 40 minutes early, so I waited outside. After waiting the entire time, I came back inside approximately five minutes after a text that they were ready for me because I had to finish a work call, only to be turned away and forced to reschedule. That should have been my warning sign about how little they value their clients' time. After my first lower-leg laser treatment, I developed a significant rash and irritation that lasted for about a week. Before my second appointment, I showed the technician photos of the reaction and explained exactly what had happened. Rather than treating this as a serious concern, she left the room and returned claiming she had consulted with a nurse who supposedly determined it was a normal reaction. The problem? The nurse never even saw the photos because my phone never left the room. Despite my documented reaction, the technician proceeded with treatment and (as I later found out) INCREASED the laser intensity. Within hours, my legs were covered in painful hives and blisters. I could barely sleep. I could barely focus on work. My skin looked and felt like it had been burned. When I attempted to contact the salon, my calls went unanswered and were never returned. I ultimately had to show up in person because no one could be bothered to respond. Ironically, the technician who evaluated me afterward immediately acknowledged what never should have happened in the first place. She told me the previous technician likely should not have used that type of laser on my skin tone and should absolutely not have increased the settings after seeing evidence of my previous reaction. Let that sink in. I raised concerns. I brought photographic evidence. I showed up for my appointment. I trusted their expertise. And they proceeded anyway. When the manager finally became involved, there was no accountability, no urgency, and no meaningful solution. Instead of concern for the damage done to my skin, I was met with defensiveness and handed a bottle of cheap vitamin oil as though that somehow addressed the situation. I was told the matter would be "escalated to the medical team," yet I never received any meaningful follow-up. I later sought a second opinion from a dermatologist. The dermatologist confirmed that treatment should never have proceeded under these circumstances, particularly not at an increased intensity. I was also informed that I may be left with permanent hyperpigmentation and scarring. In addition she advised me: NEVER RETURN TO THAT PLACE. Read that again: I sought laser hair removal and may now be left with permanent skin damage. What is most alarming is not that a reaction occurred. Any cosmetic procedure carries risks. What is unacceptable is that clear warning signs were ignored, treatment was escalated despite evidence of a prior reaction, my concerns were dismissed, and nobody seemed interested in taking responsibility once the damage was done. I have requested a refund and reported this provider. If you value your skin, your health, your safety, and your peace of mind, DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. There are countless laser providers in Atlanta. Choose one that listens to patients, follows proper safety protocols, and takes responsibility when something goes wrong. SEV Laser failed me at every stage of this process, and I would never trust them with my skin again.

The first time, they treated me on an IPL machine that targeted brown spots. I noticed the effects right away, with my freckles appearing darker before they eventually came off a week later. During my second appointment, they booked me with a dual IPL machine calibrated towards both reds and browns. This also worked well with my skin. Since I am of asian decent, I am of higher risk of side effects when IPL is not administered properly, so the staff was very careful and considerate. Pain wise, I would rate this treatment a 6/10. Not pleasant, but not traumatic either. Forewarning for those considering IPL to target redness and spider veins: while you might notice a decrease in redness, my aesthetician informed me that this effect is temporary! Eventually the veins will resurface :( Both appointments were quick and easy, and I am very satisfied with the results. side note-- this is definitely a side effect, but I also noticed that the hair on my upper lip was zapped away and never really grew back post-treatment.
