The staff at Nail Illusions Stone Mountain are very welcoming. They do exceptional work which last for a while. I got my manicure and pedicure done there and they lasted reasonably time and still look good when I went back to do them again. The manager Lyn is friendly and accommodating to all her clients. I'm very hesitant when it comes to my nail and the quality I expect so I usually don't get them done unless I'm in my hometown Florida but I can absolutely say Min and his service for my overlay on my natural nail has been impeccable. These people stole money out of my account! 1/13/23 I refused service & they begged me to do my nails! I was not comfortable with the price they were charging & they could not tell me what I was paying for. I opted out of being serviced by them & they offered to do my nails at a different rate! I still declined but they insisted on doing my nails for the price they gave me. Only to find out 2 days later, that the price I thought I was paying for these ugly ass nails had been altered & more money was taken out of my account. THIEVES! I've lived on the Eastside all of my life and would never visit a nail salon unless it was The Nail Shop (TNS) on Candler Rd...but as with most things prices go up and quality most certainly goes down. Since my divorce from Tiffany & TNS...I've been on the hunt for reasonable priced mani/pedi's, flawless brows & exceptional customer service. It was less than 20mins before closing but I tried it. Hey I have Business to handle. I was greeted upon entry even tho I strolled I'm right before closing. As a Business woman, I liked how the greeter upsold me with friendly humor. The prices were reasonable. My Nail Care Tech/Stylist took extra while doing my nails while I was getting a pedicure. I wish she would've made a color suggestion when I was a little stuck tho lol. The Pedicurist was on point and made sure I was happy with my selection. I have had a pretty good experience. OK this started really great. I walked in was greeted and seated, and me technician Kim started working on my nails. Before she begins, I showed her a picture of the design I wanted done and asked if she could do it. She answered yes. Great I though! She asked me how long I wanted my nails and the shape. She was miraculous and wasn't rushing. She enquire about my day and me hers. So far so good! Then came time to paint the nails, and she brought my the color pallet to choose from. And at that point I asked her if she wanted to see the picture again because I would like it just like that. She gave me couple options that looks nothing like the picture. It then became clear to me that there was a miscommunication. See, she thought the picture was to show her what shape not the design. And told me she couldn't replicate the design. My face just dropped. So I just had to get a regular color and I left very disappointed. These were my B-Day nails, and I did not get what I wanted. My nails still came out nice and she was really apologetic and remained calm and friendly throughout it all, but the overall experience was not great as I left unsatisfied with the finished product. read more

This is my second time I've come to this place and this time is even more disappointing than the last time. I showed a picture before I got my nails done of how long I wanted them and the shape. The man said he could do it. I was so disappointed. One of the worst full sets I've gotten in my life. They're so ugly. Nothing like the picture I asked for. I told him how much I hated them and he just got upset with me like it was my fault. They're hideous and they wouldn't do anything. I'm never coming here again and wasting my money. The first time the guy did them, he had shaky foundation. I know I'm not tripping. This is terrible work. I could've done this myself. A waste of money, my time, and energy. This place is super clean and really good quality. i'm super picky about my brows and nails but they turned out great! especially my brows, they weren't pencil thin like other places have them looking after threading/ waxing. i found a beautiful dark ombré stiletto and Lynn was able to recreate it exactly how it was in the picture! i'll definitely be returning for a fill in and colour change. i do however wish the nails were a bit thinner on the sides, but they aren't bulky or bumpy like bad nail salons. read more

This is probably the worst nail salon I have EVER been to. It's only been 4 days and my GEL nail polish is already peeling off. I got white toes and they are turning grey. I've never had this bad of an experience in my life. I'm so upset I spent this much and left a nice tip when the quality was terrible. I will NEVER come here again. This place is located in a cramped small lot, so beware of minimal parking when its busy. The first time I went one lady did my nails and they turned out cute, but they IMMEDIATELY started breaking one by one. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 and I have NEVER had this happen. I returned to get one fixed, they charged me $5!!, the next day they continued to break at the tips. I called and asked for the owner (Lynn) . She took great care of me, I came back she removed them all and put on new ones for 50% off. Now when I go I WILL ONLY let her do my nails and I have never had any break since I met her. Great place but beware NOT EVERYONE in there can do nails. read more

First time here (came here based off of the Yelp reviews) and I'm very impressed. Came in at 5:45pm on a Saturday & they got me in a chair within 5 minutes. I got a pedicure & gel nails/manicure. They did an excellent job & were very friendly and professional. Looking around, the place is very clean & well maintained. This nail salon is the worst. I came here three times back to back because They have the oldest gel nail polish that they keep diluting with Gel thinner. The gel does not last and then they charge you 20 dollars to change color. The service is terrible and the male technician has an attitude. Don't waste your time or money coming here.
