Not that long ago I came here with a friend to get our nails done. It was my first time at Y.O.U.R…read more Beauty and Nails. I wanted a regular polish pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was great, no complaints at all, but the manicure was not that good. First, the polish application was too thick (I think it was at least three layers of nail polish ), so it started lifting and peeling really quickly. Not a huge fan of that. Second, I was not very pleased with the cuticle removal process. Quite a bit was was left behind, so that part of the service felt a little rushed. For my friend, when she was getting her pedicure they accidentally used the wrong color on one of her feet, so they had to start the process all over again since the gel had already set. To their credit, they fixed it without complaint and they were very apologetic about it. For her manicure, she wanted acrylics, and it seemed like the first technician who started the set didn't really know how to do it, so she waited for another employee to be available and switched with her. Overall, the employees were all very nice, the prices are affordable and the place looks well kept. P.S. They do charge a 3% fee if paying with a credit card, but they also have a fee-free ATM inside. Also, they get very busy, so I would recommend making an appointment rather than walking in.

The first time I came here was out of convenience because it's close to where'd I just moved. They did a god job and I left happy! Second time, I wanted the color bubble bath with the most simple flowers on 2 fingers. I showed pictures. After 2 hours and 15 minutes and they could NOT get the flowers right what so ever, I said forget the flowers I have to get home to my babies. They finished at 2h and 40 minutes for the easiest nails ever and I didn't get what I wanted. They didn't charge me which was nice. But I felt awful, literally got in my car and teared up because I felt so bad that they didn't get paid for their time and I was still unhappy with my nails. I also felt obligated to come back and give them another chance. So I did!! My mistake honestly. I am in a wedding this upcoming week (I let them know that) and booked a gel pedi and hard gel fill. Toes look great! The nails look good too, but the experience was not. The top coat on the chrome was beading and separating for some reason. The guy clearly noticed it and didn't care cause he was running behind and rushing. When I said something he said to me "yeah because you hit it on the light" uhhhh no I did not? And if I did, I would have let you know right away. It was obvious that it wasn't from me? He asked if I could come back to fix it. I said no I can't? It took 2.5 hours for my toes and nails and I told them I have an important event this week. I have babies at home and a busy schedule. Why'd he make me feel like it was my fault? And then said "oh my god" when I asked him to fix it right then. Of course everyone in the entire Solon is looking and listening. How awkward. After she had shaped my nails (well, after she had told me she couldn't do short almond nails (which I get all the time)), I saw how damaged my cuticles were and told her I'd like to stop the manicure. I couldn't imagine what she would do to me with metal tools. The rest of the shop seemed incredibly nice but the owners didn't question my experience at all and I paid for gel removal and shaping I guess. $18 to have my hands tortured.

I won't be back. I…read morescheduled an appointment here for a Gel X manicure and gel pedicure and I should've known the deal when I entered the building and there wasn't anyone beyond the two staff members in there. But I took a chance anyway and everything from the size of the Gel X nails used (way too narrow, so the edges of my natural nail are showing) to the French mani that I didn't request (see further explanation below) is proof positive that you don't need to waste your hard-earned money the way I did. I was confused when the nail tech, Tony, didn't ask me what color I wanted or show me any nail polish colors, but I noticed he started going to work on my nails. I asked what was up and he said I told him I wanted a French mani when I called (?), which I didn't BUT I will say he didn't try to up-charge me because of it and just allowed me to pay what I would've paid for a solid color. But the dang nails were to' up from the toes up! From the chipping-in-less-than-an-hour French to the size of the nails used, my nails looked like a disaster as soon as I exited the shop. While the service were good and the spot was clean, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking to get a decent set of nails.

I didn't realize how picky I was until I kept comparing every place to what I was used to--and nothing quite measured up... until now. I finally found this hidden gem, and I can honestly say it was worth the search. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed the studio was--spacious, chic, and immediately calming. Cleanliness is a huge priority for me, and she absolutely delivered. Her tools were perfectly prepped and sanitized, which gave me so much confidence right away. What really stood out, though, was her technique. This wasn't a rushed, basic manicure--it was true Russian manicure precision. She took her time with my cuticles, shaping, and overall nail care, working so carefully and closely that you can actually see the difference in the final result. I brought in a nail inspo photo, and she nailed it (literally) on the first try. No back and forth, no adjustments needed--just flawless execution. And can we talk about the finish? Perfectly clean lines, no excess polish, no bubbles, no creasing--just crisp, detailed, beautiful nails. I went with an Easter-inspired set, and it came out so fresh and polished. If you're someone who notices every little detail like I do, you'll appreciate the level of precision here. She even offered a complimentary refreshment, which was such a nice touch and made the whole experience feel extra special. If you're looking for a clean, precise, and truly high-quality Russian manicure in Santa Rosa, this is the place. No rushing, no shortcuts--just amazing work. Safe to say, I've found my new go-to.
