I called Glass Nails crying after my nails were completely butchered at another local salon. They said I could come in right away and they could see what they could do. After about an hour trying to remove gel polish from my cuticles, reshaping my nails and reapplying polish I left being able to take a deep breath. The salon is clean, well kept, great selection of polishes, high quality products and high quality staff. They have a new regular customer in me. They do a decent job depending on who you get, but if you make an appointment, you could still sit there for two hours, which is really frustrating. Then you try and walk in and they tell you to make an appointment. Not a good business standard. read more

I came here based on other yelp reviews. Often I look at yelp to guide me. I called in for a pedicure. When I went in the worker who did my pedicure did not communicate with me at all and she was rough with my toe nails. I thought maybe she was just new so I didn't say much. I didn't feel the aftermath until later getting home. I will note that I had gone in without an ingrown toenail and my toe nails were cut. Fast forward to last night, I couldn't sleep from the pain of my big toe. I finally looked at my big toe and realized that something had gone wrong since my toe was throbbing and swollen. My other toe also has a cut of how hard she filed the nail. I figured I would call them today and ask what they could do. Since it seems as if there is now an ingrown in my toenail and that was not there prior to going to this shop. I tried calling to explain and was met with "you can come in, but we are not podiatrist and you can try Epsom salt" That's a short summary, of the lack of accountability for their mistake. I'm well aware this establishment is not a podiatrist. I am also well aware this is the FIRST PLACE I ever get my toe nails done, where I leave and find my nail has an ingrown and it's throbbing in pain after the pedicure. I didn't walk in there with an ingrown? And now I have one, and it's painful. Instead of working with me and apologizing for the workers MISTAKE. I get the excuse that they are not podiatrist but that I could come in and they recommended using Epsom salt is an insult. Poor customer service at its finest. I'm sorry but paying $50 for someone to mess up your pedicure and leave you in pain is ridiculous. The fact there was no accountability taken or any remedial measures just shows lack of professionalism. It was my first and last time going here. I would beware going here, clearly they don't care about their customers or the pain they cause with their mediocre care. 0 stars if I could. And I never have said that in a review. Very disappointed. I love going to gloss nails and have been going with my mom as well. This time I went alone. My appointment was at 2pm for a pedicure and manicure. I got French tip white toes no complaints. But for my manicure I wanted what the reference picture shows. Very pink and cute and detailed. The lady who was doing my nails seemed very rushed and was doing everything at a fast pace. On my right hand she messed up the white and didn't really fix it. My nails and fingers just look messy and it's just really disappointing because they were my birthday nails. Very much made me upset cause not only were they not what I asked for but I also got charged $153 for nails that were rushed and messy. I went in for the first time today for a mani, Diane was my tech. I am so happy with the quality! I have really thin and also small nails, and today was my first experience getting a painless manicure. Perfect almond shape first go, uniform and cohesive look across all my nails. They are nice and smooth too, which I know isn't always easy with the glitter. I also have one nail that is more curly than the rest and she shaped it well, it has never looked better! I am aware that I am very picky and have nails that are not easy to work with, but it is so relieving to find a place that can do such a great job :) Will definitely be back soon for a fill and a pedi! read more

Called in as a list min thing I wanted to do for myself and the availability was same day and only 30min away from the time it was. I got there and checked in at the kiosk and being my first time was super easy! The lady called me over and water was perfect! Im a person who likes my water hot! I got to soak my feet and they asked if I wanted water, tea, soda. Water was great and cold. The ladies were super nice and the place is very nice looking. I loved the atmosphere and it didn't have a bad smell. My pedicure was great and relaxing and just what I was looking for! I do not get my nails done often. This was a birthday treat to myself and I requested a manicure and a pedicure. This was the first nail salon I was not given options for my pedicure - as far as basic, deluxe, etc...I felt they were very rushed and just focused on getting each service done as fast as possible - it felt very turn and burn. The moment they had someone else wanting a pedicure and the chairs were full they moved me to get my manicure done at a table rather than doing it at the same time as getting the pedicure done. They also seemed put off that I didn't want gel and did not do the color I had asked for. Instead they did something similar and said this is better and it's like it doesn't matter. It's not what I asked for. When they were finished I felt they had forgotten about me waiting for my nails to dry. Also all I did was leave and go to dinner and I already had two chips on my nails and they are uneven. I will not return to this salon. read more

I tried out Gloss for a gel mani and pedi. I was very pleased with my experience. They have a very pretty and relaxing space. They had a lot of polish colors to chose from and they paid great attention to detail and the results were great. The best part for me was that the tech gently removed my old gel polish with a tool and special gel polish remover instead of soaking in acetone or with an electric file.
