A friend and I visited Nails Shine for pedicures on Sunday. We were made to wait several minutes, despite having scheduled appointments. The pedicure was very basic and quick. The cost was $33, which seems average to me, but it lacked a few things I'd expect typically. E.g. no massage. The gentleman did good quality work on my nails, but the experience wasn't the most enjoyable. The space and tools appeared clean, but the towels being used did look quite ratty. read more

Decided to go to Nails Shine on a whim and I'm so glad I did! I've gotten a couple of no chip manicure and pedicures and each time I've been so happy with the results! Tammy is wonderful, and another tech (I forgot his name!) also did a great job on my no chip. I recently got some Halloween themed design nails and I'm so happy with how they turned out! Definitely recommend! read more

when this place opened it was great. First time back since they opened because I moved out of state and what a disappointing experience. The chairs you sit in for pedicures have no padding so after 5 minutes your but hurts from sitting the massage functions don't work properly if at all. I got the Nail Shine Deluxe pedicure was not worth the money the massage was not 10 minutes and the supplies needed were not even ready. However, the people working were very nice. So I thought this review posted years ago lol however tried them again like 4 years later and still the same guy giving pedicure cut nails but never cleaned feet aka used pumice stone or anything when asked about it they said do later do later however the later never came and then I asked again and still they told me he did it and I was talking so I didn't know I said absolutely not. How do you do a pedicure without doing the pedicure? I don't think I will return here I would try another place and use this as last resort read more

Literally the WORST experience ever! The lady could not seem to understand what I wanted for my pedicure so applied blobs of glitter on my toes and looked at me like "this is great, right". Finally, reached for another Asian lady that was helping someone else to see if she could bring me someone that spoke English. She got up to help and also couldn't understand why I was so upset! She asked the lady to remove and redo. So the second time I asked if she can just do a plain color and even that looked horrible! It's such a thick gel layer and it looks and feels terrible. Don't bother coming here! read more

I've been going to this shop over 5years the service is good but everyone is not treated equal. The prices vary per person mostly depending on race. I've watched and heard everyone's prices over the years and it's always different. She just updated the price board and a pedi with regular polish is 32$ I'm a nail tech I have polish at home I just enjoy relaxing sometimes but rather polish my own toes. I go to pay, didn't get polish she charged me 5$ to take my polish off I said now you charge to take polish off she says yes. Since when do you charge to take previous polish off that they did by the way? Every time I get serviced my total is different every time I'm just sick of it at this point I enjoyed going because she is quick and I like Lee she does pedicures good but I'm done going to businesses that change the price for people when they feel like it I will take my money elsewhere. Tammy is the best! I've been going here for years. Highly recommend for manicures and pedicures. Gel dip is the way to go. Lasts a long time. She does a great job on my eyebrows, too! Let me preface with I never write reviews... BUT, this place is incredible! I never knew how much of a pleasurable experience it could be to get your finger and toenails done until I came to this place. Tammy is the owner of the nail shop, and she has done my fingernails several times. She always gets complex images that I find online Spot on. Her husband ( I never caught his name )has also done my finger nails, and he is also great. I am truly impressed every single time Tammy does my nails because of her speed, accuracy, and grace. She moves so quickly but in such a gentle way! Her speed does not compromise her quality either, no matter how fast she goes, I always leave feeling like my nails look incredible. She is also so kind and always asks about how I'm feeling that day. Even though the designs I get can bring the price up, I never seem to mind paying because of how much of a great experience and satisfied customer I am. I also tip her handsomely because of how much I appreciate the service. I have been to many nail salons, and I often leave feeling like my nails could look slightly better, the service could've been a little bit nicer, or just feeling eh. Just don't. They are not clean and you may end up with an amateur trainee who doesn't know what they are doing. I actually have been here several times and the last 2 were horrible. Tried to speak with the manager about it but she didn't even acknowledge me. Sad because they are convenient but never again. read more

I love this place! They're always very friendly and have QUALITY WORK. Very patient and helpful when I'm being indecisive. Highly recommend! The only thing is that they do get busy, so make sure to make an appointment or come right when they open! Otherwise they're santiary, relatively quick and I'm always happy with my nails! As someone else mentioned, they are also reasonably priced compared to other place I've been. I don't think I'll go anywhere else again. read more

An appointment is highly recommended. It's not wonder this spot is always busy. You may have to wait but they do a great job. So happy I found a spot I like so close to the house. The second time I went there after an amazing experience I took my sister who was visiting. We both had someone other than Tammy. They were THE worst set of nails I've had. All my names verte different sizes, they didn't color between the lines. My sister had to ask Tammy to fix it and I had to go back 2 days later to fix my nails by Tammy. As long as you have Tammy you will get 5 star nails, anyone else Do Not waste ur time or money. read more

Tammi and crew are the best in the business. The salon is pretty and has convenient parking. Tammi is as sweet as the other reviews have said. I prefer to make an appointment but the shop does take walk-ins. My nails have never looked better or feel stronger . My dip lasts 4 weeks. If I should get a nick, she will fix in between my appointments. I have been using this salon exclusively for over 2 years and have no reason to go anywhere else. I've been to other nail salons before finding Nails Shine and no comparison to quality. read more

I do not recommend this nail shop to anyone black. I spoke with the lady twice before coming and everything was fine. Soon as I walked in the shop she said they were busy and couldn't do my nails at all. It was only 2pm and they close at 5 pm. I was the only person she declined to do my nails. I will never go back there again. She hung the phone up when I called back and told her that I would be giving them a bad review. I refuse to spend my money where I don't feel welcomed. read more

This place is horrible! They are rude and ignored me when I had a appointment! The one lady was very aggressive because they were rushing it. I showed them a picture of a simple design and were mad they had to do it. She also made them very poorly they were thin and bumpy on the side of the nails. Btw they last less than a week! Do not recommend. read more

Brand New owner! Tammy is super! Pamela does her "Healthy Nails dip". I've been wearing this method of nail coating for 10 years and no damage to my nail beds. Super clean and very sanitary. Their Pedicure procedure even includes disposable liners for your foot bath. This nail salon is a breath of fresh air, polite, clean and beautiful work!! This nail salon is the only place I will go to from now on. Tammy is so welcoming and really makes you feel prioritized. I personally haven't met someone so genuinely focused on making her clients happy. She is also so quick and the quality of service is unmatched. They don't acknowledge you when you walk in. The only person that does nails decent is Cindy. Horrible service. If you ask them to fix their mistakes they begin talking about you in their language. They do not properly clean the pedicure or manicure appliances. After my manicure they rinsed the bowl out with water NO SOAP and used it on the next client. I'll NEVER GO BACK!!!! read more

I went with the hot stone pedicure and I just felt like it was not worth the upcharge. Now, this is where I was a little upset/annoyed. This pedicure chipped after 2 days!! And not just flecks. Most of the polish chipped on each nail. Parking: 4/5: Their lot is shared with other businesses in a tight strip mall. Another positive: Able to tip on card and they don't have signs that prefer tip in cash. I would still recommend this business.
