I've been going to "Nails Now" off and on for the last five years. Pros: convenience, fair prices, usually in/out Cons: rude/racist staff/half job done nearly every time, place is outdated and resembles the 1980's The man on the right, second to the last generally serviced me. However, if he was busy I'd let the man to the left of him, or the 1st woman on the left, or the one on the end. I stopped going here a few years ago because the 1st woman was rude af and kept snatching my hands and throwing them on the table. I got tired if driving to Norman to receive my services. So, I decided to give them a chance again in 2025. A few months after I started going back. The first woman serviced me, and kept snatching my hands, throwing them on the table, rolling her eyes at me. When I pointed out that there were humps in my nails where she didn't sand the glitter powder down. She raised her voice at me and said "it's going to cost you!" I asked for her to do her job. She said, "yes!" I said, "don't even worry  about it." No tip! Then, last Friday. I came in for service. The last woman on the left asked me to sit down. She brought two color books to choose from (all wack). I picked two glitter colors. And waited at least six minutes for her to toy around. Then she started on my nails. And said something (in her language) with an attitude to the last man across from her. And got up and walked off, without saying a word to me and went to service another client with a pedicure. The last man applied the powder and didn't drill it down. He only used a file. As a result, my nails look like swimming paddles. I pointed this out to him and advised him that "I'm an influencer, I work with my hands, and people will see this." He shrugged his shoulders and said, "it's glitter, it's going to be thick. You asked for glitter." No tip! He allowed me to leave with product still caked up on my fingers and under my nails, as you can see in the photos. I asked for lotion, since he didnt massage my hands and they were filled with product. He pointed me to the lotion. Blasted on my social media pages, bad review, and I won't ever be back! It looks like something from the 1980's. They don't pour back into their business. And don't realize that they have competition. They women don't appear to like people of color. I've witnessed how they stare at other women of color, roll their eyes, and talk in their language. As if Trump wants them here. ***UPDATE*** I got my nails and eyebrows done at Wynn Nails. I came 2 day's ago. It was my first time coming here. I'm so mad my gel nail's came off too easy !!!! The gel just fell off

We came last Sunday for the first time (our normal spot wasn't available) the gentleman who did my mani/pedi was fantastic. Very professional and personable. However, the woman who did my daughter's nails was not as great. She forgot to put the top coat on. We had to ask why they were so sticky and the man told us it was because she forgot a step. He even taught my daughter a valuable lesson, he had her go tell the lady. He told she had to learn to stand up for herself. It's been one week and they are popping off like crazy. We went back to ask them to fix them, and she said it was my daughter's fault. We will not be returning!! We showed our normal nail person and they said a step in the prep was forgotten which would cause this and the powder was over her cuticles. I just wish people owned their mistake. read more

My 82 yr old geandma, my 10 yr old daughter, and I went to this place for the first time today. My grandma has Alzheimer's and dementia but she was so excited to get her nails done and I'm sure she was happy to hang out with us As well. My daughter & I we doing pedicures as well but my grandma wasn't. So she was on one side my daughter & were on the other. I kept asking them to bring her on the side we were on & told them she has Alzheimer's. They kept telling me she was almost done then they'd bring her over. Idk if th didn't un what I was saying or maybe they thought I was exaggerating. The next thing Ik grandma's out the door. I just up outta the feet bath thing barefoot, wet feet, & I'm sure I got water everywhere. She had gotten to the point right before they smoothed them down. She said she just got sick for some reason, had a reaction to getting her nails done & she had had this happen once before. Idk if that's true or not.they already had the nails on so I said well let's just see if you are ok with them jusr painting them and if you don't want to you don't have to.So she goes in & sits by me. This lady keeps trying to smooth her nails I can tell my grandma doesn't want to do it. So I ask her if she wants them to stop. she says yes. I tell the lady hey she doesn't want to do it. The lady looked up at me, looked back down, & continued doing my grandmas nails. I said she's not doing it & I got the same reaction. So I stop the chick doing my feet. I say we are leaving.Then the lady just star painting my grandmas nails without asking her permission. After all that happened why would this lady do that? I take my grandma outside & they finish my daughter nails & feet. As I'm remembering all this stuff keeps comb back to mind & the more and more upset I am. I realized that had the neve to charge me the extra $15 fit the gel polish that was never used. I only got to the point Where they are cutting your nails & cuticles. I never got to the point of them painting my toes. I literally had to leave to get them to leave my grandm alone. They would've have continued to disregard her rights& upset her more. When she took off out the door I jumped up & ran to stop my grandma.as I'm remembering all this it seems that they might've been making fun of me in their lang for running after my grandma w/bare wet feet. I only say that because one of them did a slipping/falling gesture. I promise if they had woken up & not foundbtheir grandma they'd have done just as I did. They told me to come back and have my feet finished. But I really don't want to ever return. I just wanted to get my grandma out of their or I wouldnt have just paid. The lady doing her nails had the worst attitude & made her feel so bad she left crying. She continually apologized to me the rest of the night. My grandma well You mustve had others who've had reactions to getting their nails done. Ik people have. The lady looks at her without an ounce of empathy & says nope just you, you're alone. Wtf. Would they treat their grandma how they treated mine?! It's ridiculous! The first red flag should've been their insistence on us getting gel polish. It was $15 extra, whereas other places charge $5 usually. Even tho I was the only one doing gel polish they even tried to force my hand by having my day choose from the gel polish book for all the shades. How crappy is that?! All in all I paid $126(+$6 tip) for my 10 yr old to get her nails & toes painted & to stick her feet in the foot bath. They never once offered to adjust the bill. like I said I even got charged for the gel polish that never touched my toes. now I'm gonna have to pay somewhere else to do mine. Why would I support a business who'd treat an elderly woman with dementia this way?! Especially sincr from the first min I told them multiple times that she has Alzheimer's & that I wanted her with us, just to be ignored. I'm mind blown. read more

The only nail shop I could find open on a Sunday & it seemed convenient. I went in to have fake nails removed & a manicure for my natural nails. They were very nice, but the nail tech kept pushing gel, repeatedly. I explained that I appreciated her offer, but don't like the feel of all the layers & would rather begin nourishing my own nails. The drill she used on my cuticles tore them up & I ended up bleeding on a couple. She has no method to the madness of nail shape & they are all wonky, nothing matches. The polish she used was so old it took nearly half an hour for it to begin drying under the fans. I am appalled that I spent $40+tip & will not be returning. read more

I did a pedicure and it was really relaxing,the hot towels felt great,and I also did a manicure and it was great.I recommend it.

The first time I went to this place it was wonderful. The second time I went, it was a sloppy job and the nail tech "Christina" or "Tina" yelled at me in front of everyone on Easter weekend. It was very busy. I wanted to cuss her out, but that's not my character. These people are so rude and unprofessional. I would warn you to never waste your money in this place. read more

The tech cut my daughter's fingertip to her nail bed and could have cared less. The pedicure we got was so rushed and the tech who I assume was the owner's wife didn't apply a top coat to my toes. The pedicure was a quick soak, get off dead skin, applied an extremely hot skin burning towel wrap on the legs and polish the toes then out of the chair you go. The acrylic set I got was sloppy and the paint on the french manicure was not applied to the tips of the nails fully so it just looked all over the place. There were spots where the gel was not dried all the way and caused a hole in the french manicure. Also leaving globs of dried acrylic under the nails is lazy. Also, I am not entirely sure they sanitize tools so beware! For the price I paid for two pedicures and two full sets.. I have never been more disappointed and will NEVER recommend to anyone. read more

I received a friendly welcome at the door, the place is very clean/spacious and the massage chairs are very comfy but..... my nail tech didn't communicate in English well at all, the water was extremely hot & she was rather overzealous with the "parmesan grater" - I have several open sores on my feet now. She also used oil on my legs rather than lotion, and my legs broke out in tiny pimple-like bumps. Someone in a back room was apparently smoking so the entire place smelled of cigarette smoke. I have been here previously a time or two and had better experiences then - this one not so much. read more

This is the rudest place of any kind that I've ever been to for any service in my life. The guy twisted my arms & bruised my wrists. He ignored me when I told him it was hurting, I should have got up & walked out. I didn't give him a tip & he announced it to the whole store - he is lucky I didn't serve him with assault & battery complaint. They have up charges for scrub , or warm towels which are standard at other places. Stay away from rude mariposos. read more

I'd give no stars if I could. I've gone here for over a year. I won't be going back & will find a PROFESSIONAL English salon even it it cost more. I'll be making a complaint to the board of licensing. The guy was rough. I got powder dip & when I first started getting them, they dipped 4 times not 2. Then when paying, the price had gone up, quality down & I pay in cash, I was owed $5.00 change & he said "oh you leave tip" as he had no change, I told him I would wait, he went in back room & came back with my change. One more thing, they cross-contaminate product being applied that's a huge no, no! They say was your hands but they don't wash theirs nor wear gloves. Go somewhere else terrible attitudes. read more

I spent $65 getting a manicure and pedicure, with gel done for my manicure. I asked the tech to trim the side of my nail on my big toe, as I always do to prevent ingrown toe nails, and she cut it and then proceeded to pull it up. I told her that hurt, and then she continued cutting it instead of pulling it. Of course, it bled, and now it looks so gross and possibly infected. When she was giving me my manicure, she cut my skin on two nails, and on one of them there is blood in the edge of my nail color, which will not come out. I don't get pedicures done very often, but I always went to this place. I will obviously not being going back at all. I had this done in NYE, and they were close on New Year's, but I am going tomorrow to show them and hopefully get some kind of refund.
