My acrylics did not match the picture I wanted and I had asked him to fix it but we just couldn't get there, and my nails also too so long that he was working on my acrylics for so long that the other person getting their nails done had already moved on to her toes, and was over half way done. To end at the same time as the other person getting their nails done, for skipped the foot massage that I had paid for. Also there is no air conditioning and we were sweating the whole time. Would not recommend.

I got a standard gel pedi with a simple flower design. After a bit, I could tell I was in trouble with my technician. She kept trying to fix the nail over and over. The picture shows what I ended up with. They waived the charge for the design, but once I got home and looked closer (had to get my glasses), I could really see what I was left with. $60 and a $15 tip, and my nails aren't fully covered, and now I'm stuck with this design. I called and left a voicemail but got no response. So now I need to find a new nail spa to get this all redone. It really sucks because I loved going there. FYI, Ben is awesome, but I couldn't wait to see him.

I've been coming to Lumi Nail Lounge for quite some time for manicures, pedicures, and more…read morerecently, acrylic nails and fills. Unfortunately, my last several experiences have been disappointing. Almost every time I schedule an appointment, I end up waiting 10-15 minutes past my scheduled time because they're so busy accommodating walk-ins. I completely understand that salons get busy, but what's the point of making an appointment if it isn't respected? Once I finally get in the chair, the service feels rushed, and the quality of my nails has definitely suffered. My most recent visit was especially frustrating. I went in for a fill but was told I needed an entirely new set. My acrylics hadn't been on that long and seemed perfectly fine to me, but I trusted the professional's recommendation. What wasn't explained beforehand was that I would be charged separately for the removal AND the new full set. To make matters worse, the polish looks terrible. It's lumpy, has what appears to be air bubbles, and is so poorly cured that I can actually push the polish around on top of my nails. For a service that cost over $70 before tip, I expect much better quality. I really wanted to continue supporting Lumi because I've been a loyal customer, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to justify the prices when the quality and overall experience continue to decline. It feels like they're prioritizing getting as many customers through the door as possible rather than taking care of the ones who have made appointments. Unfortunately, I think it's time to start looking for a new nail salon.

Soooo happy to be back after quarantine, visiting my favorite places and supporting local…read morebusinesses. Moon Nails opened to 50% capacity this week. Reservations only. I had a pedicure. The water basins are lined with replaceable plastic. Screens separate you and the service provider. Everyone wears masks. Service providers wear gloves. Chairs, handles etc are wiped after each use. You are required to wash and scrub hands upon arriving. You also must sign a waiver. I paid in cash which was accepted. Beyond all the safety precautions, the experience was great and felt almost normal. It just was so nice to be pampered a little and my feet look and feel so much better.

From the moment I got there, I felt unwelcome. The manager (or owner) came across as rude and dismissive. I asked for a specific sheer nail color, but instead of helping me find a close match or showing me other options, she placed a random pink polish on the counter like she didn't care about what I said. The nail tech just picked up that color and started my nails. She didn't show the color or ask if it was okay. I was so shocked by the lack of customer service that I had to ask my partner to come inside and look through the polish section himself because no one was willing to help me choose another color. I have can't complain about the tech not being talkative, that's a personal preference. However, she repeatedly hit my skin with the electric nail drill. I pulled my hand away more than once because it hurt and she never apologized or acknowledged it. After all that my nails were uneven and shaped whatever way when the service was finished. I don't like bringing race into situations, but I honestly felt it played a role in how I was treated because I can't think of another explanation for the dismissive attitude and horrible service I experienced. I couldn't even express how I felt or my frustration because I didn't want to come off as an angry or upset, black woman. I walked out pissed off, not just with my nails, but with the entire experience. After all that my dumb a** still left a tip( just how I was raised) but I regret because the service did not reflect the level of professionalism or customer care I expected.
