i would not recommend this nail salon. for starters when me and my sister walked in the lady was confused on what we asked for. A simple gel-x manicure and pedicure. When i first sat down she got to work. The place was dirty and didn't have a relaxing vibe. NONE of the tools were sanitized and she roughly filed my nails and even cut me. Her and the coworker beside her kept whispering to each other which made me uncomfortable. She would yank my hand and get mad at my hand placement. I always do dip powder nails and they last up to 3 weeks and I could prob go a month before they look absolutely terrible. I've been coming to see Tina here for years now. They can get very busy, so once you become comfortable with one of the nail technicians, te their number to try to coordinate times. The gel mani and regular pedi is $55. Tina makes sure to really check your feet for any evidence of ingrown nails and never leaves anything behind. Oh the gel manicure, she doesn't leave any jagged edges when making the square shape like I've experienced at other nail salons. I'm very picky. When I can't go to my normal nail guy, I go here. I've tried about 4 places in the area and near the falls and the gel doesn't last but a week or so. This is the next best thing to my usual salon and gel seems to last almost two weeks here. It is very clean and they took their time with me the three times I've gone. I got alarmed when the lady put an old empty acetone jug under my ankle to get a better angle but I didn't say anything because it was already done. Stay as far away as possible. I went in last Saturday morning to do my nails for a baby shower. I was in and out for a mani-pedi. Less than 48 hours later my toe started throbbing and got red. Went to my pcp and he diagnosed it as an infection from the nail salon. I've been on antibiotics for 5 days now and there is still puss coming out! This place is terrible. It was dirty, my gel nails lasted a week and they could do no designs. The worst part is the technician pulled skin from the side of my big toe which hurt like hell. It never stopped hurting and only got worse. I had to go to urgent care and get antibiotics and am currently in so much pain and still getting treated. My husband and I went to get a mani pedi the week before Thanksgiving Day. By Saturday he had bumps on the lower part of his leg. He had the Spa treatment, so they used a scrub that day, that was the only different thing they did to him that they did to me. By Sunday his legs were full of infected pimples and he had to go to the doctor right away, they said he caught MRSA. After days of pain and feeling itchy, antibiotics, shots and creams he is finally clearing up. Thank God! The sad thing is when he called to let Nail Fever Plus know what happened, instead of apologizing or asking if he was ok, they said that we should read their reviews, all they had was good reviews... I giving 2 stars because the fact that they are fast in accommodating me. However, I felt rushed and this lady was very rough, she was trying to rush everything that she was doing and even when I tell her it hurts she still was doing what she wanted to do. (There were barely any customers inside so I don't see the need to rush in my opinion.) My nail tech (sitting at the third seat back) was rude, this being my first time here, I had questions and concerns, but she was concerned with everything else but me. My questions went unanswered, she never consulted with or even looked at me, and she did a half ass job on my nails. It's a decent salon, nothing spectacular. They do a great job at mani/pedis and the wait is never too long. They are very efficient. I've been coming here on and off for about a year (I only get my nails done professionally every other month or so). I always get the shellac mani, because I don't like fake nails, but I've seen their gel acrylics and they look nice. It's clean and neat. My only complaint is that one of the ladies did my eyebrows and they came out so thin and not even! I just never get my brows done here. They do waxing as well. read more

Horrible service rips nails off refuses to listen to customer doesn't clean instruments

I had my acrylics first put on at another salon, but found this place close to where I live. They did a decent job with the fill-ins, but, DO NOT LET THEM REMOVE YOUR ACRYLICS. The woman who sits in the front, next to her husband completely ruined my nails. My right hand's nails were just lifted up from the nailbed without any soaking whatsoever. After she was done with my right and started on my left I was in so much pain I was flinching, which annoyed her. It was only then that she soaked my nails. She left me soaking and started to do a pedicure. Her husband came to look at my nails and I asked him is this the way you're supposed to remove these? And he said yes it's the only way to remove them. I come to find out later that with she did it was the worst possible thing. Removing acrylics by just lifting them like that ruins the nail-bed It's been three weeks now and my nails are cracked brittle and split. I have two that are splitting right down the middle and into my skin! I will NEVER go back. This place is just interested in getting you in and out as fast as they can.
