I found this salon on Yelp and I decided to try it out because it was near my job. It's located off of US1 so it was easy to find. I called to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in the schedule for the next day. Most of the reviews mention Theresa as she is the owner, but my stylist was Paula. Paula did a great job coloring my roots and giving me haircut. She made sure she understood what I wanted. I was a little hesitant about going to a new stylist at first, but I'm very happy with my results. The stylists rent their space from the owner so I assume that means that their prices vary. Paula's prices were fair and affordable. read more

Keisha Jackson is a whiz. Oasis Salon needs a bigger sign -- I had been through that shopping center various times but never noticed it. A friend had her hair done at this salon and was so happy with her haircut, so she suggested it to me. Well -- I was skeptical. Why? Because my friend's White with fine, straight hair, and I'm Black, with not fine, curly-kinky hair. Still I went for a look-see. Keisha was there. I want to share my experience at Oasis Salon. When I walked in the salon there was a warm and friendly vibe. I was greeted with smiles by everyone. I was treated as if I was family. The salon offers everything hair, nails, facials, waxing etc. I have been going to Jay Goldsmith for many years and I have followed him. This is by far the best salon and the owner is so wonderful! Worst hair salon experience ever! I had a lengthy consultation with a stylist and showed her pictures of what I hoped to achieve and after her reassuring me that she could do the highlights and lowlights in my hair I booked an appointment for the following day. On the day of my appointment the woman started my haircolor by adding foils and to most of my head and then her phone rang and she took the call. She said she had to leave and hadn't even finished putting all the foils in my hair. She then instructed another woman on what to do to finish my hair and then quoted her a price to charge me that was considerably more than what she had previously texted me that it would cost for my color. Luckily I had saved the text from her. The second woman finished my hair and it looked awful, really ashy, damaged and nothing like the photos I brought in. I let her know I wasn't pleased and showed her the photos again and asked what she could do so that my hair would actually look good like the photos which were of my own hair from a few years back. She said it would cost even more money to fix what she did and make it look like I wanted. I refused to pay even more money there and I had to go to another salon to fix what they did. I wouldn't recommend this salon for any service. The women who work there are not professional at all. read more
