I would give them a higher review because I went once before and my nails turned out fine, but this last time I went, my gel only lasted for 4 days before it started peeling off. I should get at least a week or week and a half before this happens, especially when its so expensive to get them done. Not Cool. read more

Great service!, watched Ellen and laughed, it was relaxing because I went on a Wednesday during lunch time, and the lady I had (Yen) took extra care of my toes! I just love this place, especially someone like me who rarely go get my nails done because I always do it myself from home. But whenever I do go to a nails salon I always walk out unhappy. :( Thanks to Yelp, this place made me happy! So my friend and I went there 2 weeks ago to get a spa pedi! Came in today with a friend of mine for spa pedicures. $18/each. Price was fine, but I was surprised that there wasn't any foot massage or lotion put on my feet or legs. This place is just ok. Spa Pedi for $16 is great but they are not the best with manicures. I don't usually get my nails done here but they are close to my house and there is never a wait. Ask them to sterilize their instruments with alcohol in front of you, I've seen them put away cuticle clippers and pushers without cleaning them. read more

I do not like to write negative reviews but I received horrible customer service at this nail salon. I came in to buy nail glue Megan had recommended, the lady replied "we're too busy Megan's not here wait for Megan "who comes in a half hour. She was very rude when I asked for her name she said "you're not here to see me" . I love Megan but the rest of the woman here have terrible sense of how to be courteous and provide a respectable customer service . I'm very disappointed that she refused to give me 30 seconds of her time to make a quick purchase . Megan on the other hand is great . The owner should provide a little more training to the rest of the staff . Keep in mind I've gone here on and off for years . Im new to the area and have tried a couple other salons close by.....each had their flaws. either they do the nails way too thick even when i ask for them thin they are uneven lift early or pop off...dont drill your natural nail correctly and so on.... i decided to try nails expression even though i had seen some bad reviews and im SO HAPPY I DID. although their salon isnt the most fancy around the quality will having you coming back time and time again. they really listen to what you want. Viki did my nails and she was amazing the other girls are just as able i just happen to get viki. i told her what i wanted and she did exactly that. i like my nails very thin and natural looking. she even asked if there was anything i wanted her to fix before she put the gel overlay on. some manicurists get offended when you ask for revisions and make you feel bad for saying something and then still dont do it right! today i got pink and whites and noticed after there are NO bubbles at all in the pink acrylic THATS HOW IT SHOULD BE! and that takes precision and skill to set and work with the acrylic like that. ive never even seen that! theres always a couple but none. Wow! I've been going to Supernails in the Vons parking lot out of habit...no more. This place is WAY better for many reasons. The polish selection (even shellac) is great! A ton of OPI and essy. I went there around 6pm on a Thurs night. Just so happened 10 other people had the same idea! 2 were appts. (they close at 7pm) I waited for about an hour and Vicky was the only one who could do my nails because the other girls dont do the glitter tips. I chose 2tone glitter tips purple and pink with a gel top coat. She told me it would be 39$. I was literally the last person out of there at about 8:10pm. Now normally this would have had me super annoyed, however, Vicky was very nice. She was thorough and kept checking on if I liked them. She even trimmed my cuticles for me and rubbed some cuticle oil in. Then when I went to pay she said she would take of 5$ for the long wait and apologised several time! I'm always very skeptical of nail salons when it comes to getting manicures and pedicures because I'm so paranoid about their cleanliness (clean implements/foot spas). I decided to give this place a chance because of the good reviews. My technician was very friendly and gentle when nipping away at my cuticles, etc. I give this place 3 stars because unlike other spas I've been to, they didn't use a plastic liner in their spa tub for pedicures. I did see her spray the tub down with clorox bleach after she gave me my pedicure, but I felt a quick scrub down was not enough. Secondly, after my pedicure, she proceeded to show me to the table to get my manicure. She did not provide the foam slippers they give you after a pedicure, so I had to walk to the manicure station barefoot, which felt so uncomfortable and made me feel dirty. Again, my technician did a wonderful job on my manicure and pedicure however, I don't think I would go back otherwise. read more
