One Star - Extremely Disappointed After 14 Years I've been coming to Nails.com on Southside Blvd for over 14 years under Sophie's ownership and always received excellent service. Unfortunately, since Colleen took over, the experience has gone completely downhill. She lacks professionalism, empathy, and basic respect. Prices are not posted anywhere, and when you ask how she arrives at the total cost, she becomes irritated and simply shows you a number on a calculator--without ever breaking down the cost of each service. During my last visit, she was extremely rude--told me to "shut up and listen," which was completely uncalled for. When I began recording how disrespectful she was, she swiped my card, refused to return it, and I had to cancel it through Navy Federal for my own protection. While she does good nail work, her customer service is absolutely unacceptable. She needs serious training in how to treat paying customers. I will not be returning. read more

Colleen stays up to date on the latest trends and designs. She never ceases to amaze me and always surprises me with something new. Had the worst experience with this place. Got a mani pedi, the mani has nails of all different shapes and when I tried to guide the lady doing my nails she wouldn't make it any better. The manicure was incredibly sloppy and she tried correcting some of the sloppyness once the gel was already dry which resulted in getting a painful and deep cut on my pinky finger. Needless to say I will never be returning. Also, the costumer service is non existent. The quality and The non existent professionalism were not worth $60. read more

Went here twice. First time they "misheard me" and thought I asked for SNS so they removed my acrylics. The nails weren't terrible but overall wasn't pleased. Decided to give them a second chance and the tech cut each one of my fingers while doing them. Definitely never going back read more

Had a mani/pedi and my lower legs waxed -- first time visiting. I thought the pedicure was great and would've given them 5* if I stopped with just that... but my manicure for $55 sooo not "ok" and I would've said something but it was after 8p when I finally was able to get out of there and wasn't in the mood to prolong the pain. She actually argued with me about painting my fingernails!! I only wanted clear polish on my nails... and she had buffed them before polishing and said it didn't need the polish. I still wanted it but got tired of the attitude and gave up!! I had also already been charged for the leg waxing (in advance) so I felt like I couldn't get out of it. There was wax EVERYWHERE!! I had it on my feet, toes, knees -- it was crazy! And when she asked me to turn over so she could do the back side of my legs I told her she needed to change the paper. She looked at me like I had two heads. Seriously... so disappointed!! And it so difficult to speak with them - so frustrating!! What a flipping mess! You need to seriously think twice before going here!! read more

I am in the market for a new nail salon so I decided to try them out....definitely not somewhere I would go again. I spent $70 for low quality service. Coworkers are too caught up in their own gossip than their customers. The lady that did mine was hurting me multiple times with filing and the drill bit. A young employee next to me was straight up nasty to her customer. Not a good environment. Not welcoming to newcomers who are looking to be regulars. By the time my nail lady got to start polishing, her next client came in and she seemed to be rushing me. As if she isn't charging me $70. My nails in no way look like they cost that much. And for that much money, you would think they would clean up your hands after the service. I am home, scrubbing my hands to get off everything but I'll still have to get some acetone to take things off my fingers. If I knew I'd have been charged that much I would've went to a higher end salon where I know I would get quality service. I am open to spending x amounts on my nails since I like having them done but the service needs to be worth it. It's not worth it here. read more

I came when they opened up in the morning and I had to wait. They told me to that the "gel polish" person would be there in five min... After 20 min I left and they told me to come back later... I then came back around 2pm and they told me that its a 45 min wait... Get it together! read more

I have been going to Sophie and Phil's nail salon since the week they opened!! Sophie always stays up-to-date with the latest nail trends, fashions, and designs. She's so sweet and will do anything you ask her. Camille is her right hand woman. They are both so awesome and they truly become friends, that's how welcoming they are. THIS IS A FULL BEAUTY SALON, not just nails! they do hot stone massages (for the pedicure/manicures), they do facials, eyelashes, waxing (all areas), they are awesome.
