He shaped my nails and did a good job on the cuticles but he pulled the tools out from under the table and sprayed them with what I am assuming was rubbing alcohol. They were not in a sealed packet like I'm used to seeing. I could also see that the buffing pad that he used had been used before. That made me a little uncomfortable. The pedicure was a really bad experience for me. The woman did a good job of clipping, filing and cuticle trimming, and this time the tools did come out of a sealed packet, however, when she started to use the pumice stone, I pointed out that I had a thick callous on my big toe and asked her to pay a little extra attention to that. she started rubbing on it really hard and fast like she was sanding a table. It really hurt and I asked to stop. I ended up with a wound on my toe when she was done (see photo). When she started to polish my nails, she noticed the wound and looked at me and shrugged like "oh well". I will never go back.

The education on products is a big deal to me. I'm rough on my nails and Melissa knows this so she uses a specific putty product on me - it lasts for weeks without any issues! She really knows her products well and what to use on each individual. As for her creativity, she's a rockstar! I don't always come to my appointment with a clear idea on what color or design I want. Luckily, this is not a problem for Melissa because she's always up on the current trends and knows exactly what to do. I honestly can't say enough great things about her and her work. She's a boss at what she does!

On top of all of that, the next day my nail fell off and the next couple days more did. I went back in to get them fixed 3 different days. It took a week for all of them to fall off. No refund just a "sorry about that" *edit* My nails were not a super long length, I actually hate when they are too long so I can't do basic daily activities. I think you are mixing me up with another client that was before me and didn't want any of her nail trimmed, I remember listening to the nail tech tell her they would be flimsy. That was not me. I got a basic short to medium length french tip. This has never happened at any other salon.
