I'm from LA, so I thought I'd give it a shot-- it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)! Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails! I've come here just once, but I am so happy; I've found my new nail shop :) I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it's always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait). The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It's definitely not the best skill and technique I've experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly! Awesome, awesome service! THAT is what I'm talking about when I treat myself! Go get yo' nail on, girlfriends!! :)

Although they didn't have the product/service I requested (colored acrylic), they made every effort to provide the same look with a different application (dip with a tip). My nail tech (Linda) was so kind and responsive, and paid attention to every detail to ensure my hands and feet were amazing. She even asked if I wanted a manicure after the soak off and before the dip full set. Amazing.

Throughout the appointment, he handled my hands and arms very roughly. He repeatedly grabbed and repositioned my arm without asking, which made me feel uncomfortable. I understand everyone has a different technique, so I politely asked if he could be more gentle. Instead of apologizing, he simply said "okay" and continued. Toward the end of the service, I noticed what looked like dust or debris under the top coat. I asked a simple question about whether it would create a bump and wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect the final result. The conversation quickly became tense, and I felt like my concerns were being dismissed. As the appointment continued, he was still being rough, so I politely asked if someone else could finish my nails. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, he told me I was the one being rude and accused me of having an attitude because I was on a phone call, even though I wasn't using my phone and was still cooperating throughout the service. I never raised my voice or intended to be disrespectful. I simply wanted a gentler experience and to feel comfortable during my appointment. Unfortunately, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with how the situation was handled. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience in the future.

Water was so hot it burned my feet and made them swollen... i attaches the picture ( i asked them to make the water cooler 4 times and finally they just put my feet in the water. It's two hours later and my feet are still swollen and red). Pretty unbelievable, i would not recommend this place to anyone, EVER!
