Our services were not rushed. 1st off the restroom is clean and offers individual towels to dry your hands. We both got the Gloria Nails Natural special + paraffin + acupressure. This service comes with complimentary white or red wine. LT helped out to get off the old acrylic off my nails. Emily completed my nails and did my pedicure with shellac color. Tom worked on the manicure and pedicure for my sister n-law. The service, interaction, etc is amazing. I live in San Jose and have regular service but this was last minute. This place is so beautiful and upscale. Prices are great as they have something for every budget. The acupressure felt so good. If and when I'm in the area I'll be back to get my mani/pedi. Throughout the appointment, he handled my hands and arms very roughly. He repeatedly grabbed and repositioned my arm without asking, which made me feel uncomfortable. I understand everyone has a different technique, so I politely asked if he could be more gentle. Instead of apologizing, he simply said "okay" and continued. Toward the end of the service, I noticed what looked like dust or debris under the top coat. I asked a simple question about whether it would create a bump and wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect the final result. The conversation quickly became tense, and I felt like my concerns were being dismissed. As the appointment continued, he was still being rough, so I politely asked if someone else could finish my nails. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, he told me I was the one being rude and accused me of having an attitude because I was on a phone call, even though I wasn't using my phone and was still cooperating throughout the service. I never raised my voice or intended to be disrespectful. I simply wanted a gentler experience and to feel comfortable during my appointment. Unfortunately, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with how the situation was handled. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience in the future.

I'm from LA, so I thought I'd give it a shot-- it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)! Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails! I've come here just once, but I am so happy; I've found my new nail shop :) I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it's always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait). The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It's definitely not the best skill and technique I've experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly! Awesome, awesome service! THAT is what I'm talking about when I treat myself! Go get yo' nail on, girlfriends!! :)

The last dip set I had done was in Atlanta. It was on for about a month with no problems other than my nails growing. They insist that the Atlanta shop did a bad job because they struggled to remove the old polish. The male owner soaked my hand in a bowl of old acetone and proceeded to file off the old polish before turning it over to the female worker. The dip set she put on was super thin and was just ok but I figured it would do until I had time to go to my regular nail tech. After two days the polish on my right thumb cracked and then a day later a piece of the polish chipped off. Then I noticed a crack in the middle finger on the other hand. Then the other middle finger. In all less than 4 days I have 4 chipped cracked nails. Upon returning to the shop I was met with an unpleasant tone, accusatory remarks, and a told it was my fault 4 nails chipped and cracked. I've literally had regular polish last longer than this $60 dip set. Then I was told it would be a 30 minute wait when literally no one was in the shop but one other customer. I chose to not wait in such a hostile environment and let my actions to never return do the talking for me. If their need to do horrible work and rip customers off then the business won't last very long anyway. Which is evident by their empty parking lot.

I went in for an eyelash removal and extension…read more I needed the removal of a few sparse lashes remaining from my 3 weeks old previous install. I went to the young lady in the back (left hand side once you walk in). After settling on a size 11mm so I could have a natural look, she began to work on my lashes and that's when I should've ran out of there! Anyway, after about 1 hour, she had called over the other young lady from the back sear on the right hand side who painfully attempted to install lashes in my corners. Overall, it took about 2 hours and I left unhappy. I returned a few hours later foe a fix and had been told the two ladies in the back are in training and not fully qualified. I had the lady who is the manager fix my corners but still left u happy. 5 days later, I had to have the lashes removed professionally. There were glops (huge drops) of glue in my lashes and it irritated my Lids and eyes so much. It usually takes my normal lash lady 20 mins to remove lashes but took almost an hour to remove mine due to the glue stuck in my lashes. It was a mistake supporting this business. I hope they read this and get qualified before proceeding more.
