I am not rough with my hands, and typically gel x lasts months on end. I went in today to ask for a refund, I did not want them touching my nails again, and they argued with me and said that it was policy they couldn't do refunds. There is not a sign or disclaimer anywhere in the store that says that. They only offered a half refund or to come back later so they could do my nails again. Why in the world would I want to repeat my experience here after seeing the quality of their work? It was shoddy and rushed and my nail beds are also destroyed. I spent hours the first time out of my day and paid for a service to be done right, and they didn't deliver. They even accused me of going home and taking my own nails off. I spent SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS, WHAT ON EARTH WOULD COMPEL ME TO GO HOME AND RIP THEM OFF? And then they told me my nails were too short for them to hold anyways. I ASKED the first time I was there if I could do shorter nails so that they would hold, and they told me they would. So I was lied to, given poor service, and then denied my own money back, and didn't even receive an apology. This is disappointing. I was excited to go here and get my nails done, and spent a LOT of money to be treated unfairly. I eventually just opted for the half refund. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell every single woman I know to steer clear of this place and just go to Royal Nails or Fancy Nails instead.

Although they didn't have the product/service I requested (colored acrylic), they made every effort to provide the same look with a different application (dip with a tip). My nail tech (Linda) was so kind and responsive, and paid attention to every detail to ensure my hands and feet were amazing. She even asked if I wanted a manicure after the soak off and before the dip full set. Amazing.

I'm a very nice person and did not give anything to receive this treatment in return. I'm new to town and needed to have SNS removed from my fingernails, and I wanted a manicure. The tech who worked with me said 4 words to me during the 2 hours I was there, and she left me and my nails to soak in acetone for 45 minutes to do an entire pedicure! She did not wash her hands between the pedicure and comibg back to work on my nails, but by this point I didn't care because my skin was burning from prolonged acetone exposure and I wanted it off. I showed her a specific picture with pink, almond shaped nails for my manicure, and though I kept asking for her to shape my nails accordingly, she laughed at me and instead of shaping my nails into the shape I asked for, she started to square off some of the nails! I paid for a manicure, but I got no cuticle oil or even lotion! All I got was dry skin and brittle, poorly shaped nails. To top it all off, a few minutes after I left the salon, I started to get a rash on one of my hands! I'm not sure if it was because of the lack of hand washing, the prolonged use of acetone, or the copious amounts of alcohol she doused my hands in no less than 3 times. NEVER AGAIN.

Throughout the appointment, he handled my hands and arms very roughly. He repeatedly grabbed and repositioned my arm without asking, which made me feel uncomfortable. I understand everyone has a different technique, so I politely asked if he could be more gentle. Instead of apologizing, he simply said "okay" and continued. Toward the end of the service, I noticed what looked like dust or debris under the top coat. I asked a simple question about whether it would create a bump and wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect the final result. The conversation quickly became tense, and I felt like my concerns were being dismissed. As the appointment continued, he was still being rough, so I politely asked if someone else could finish my nails. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, he told me I was the one being rude and accused me of having an attitude because I was on a phone call, even though I wasn't using my phone and was still cooperating throughout the service. I never raised my voice or intended to be disrespectful. I simply wanted a gentler experience and to feel comfortable during my appointment. Unfortunately, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with how the situation was handled. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience in the future.

I'm from LA, so I thought I'd give it a shot-- it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)! Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails! I've come here just once, but I am so happy; I've found my new nail shop :) I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it's always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait). The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It's definitely not the best skill and technique I've experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly! She never rushes and genuinely cares that her clients leave happy. Our services were not rushed. 1st off the restroom is clean and offers individual towels to dry your hands. We both got the Gloria Nails Natural special + paraffin + acupressure. This service comes with complimentary white or red wine. LT helped out to get off the old acrylic off my nails. Emily completed my nails and did my pedicure with shellac color. Tom worked on the manicure and pedicure for my sister n-law. The service, interaction, etc is amazing. I live in San Jose and have regular service but this was last minute. This place is so beautiful and upscale. Prices are great as they have something for every budget. The acupressure felt so good. If and when I'm in the area I'll be back to get my mani/pedi.
