You have to give them at least one star, regretfully. I left there with nails that were different lengths. The two nails that I got the tips put on were crooked. I would include a picture but I got in the car and re-filed my nails $70 later! At one point during the process, I almost got up and left. She was very rough and extremely unfriendly! They did a good job on my pedicure. They didn't have the holographic nail powder that I wanted. But I did find out about mood polish. It changes color depending on the temperature. When it's cold it's a dark pink. Warm turns it light almost white. My sisters were impressed lol. The shop is fairly new, but the art and polish choices are a bit dated. It's clean and I didn't have to wait long for a chair. The reviews about their manicures did make me change my mind about getting one. Most of the clients when I visited seemed to be older women. So I'm wondering if that's why they didn't have a lot of polish choices. read more

This salon is in a convenient location if you're shopping at Eastchase. Everything there is very outdated, from the nail polish selection to the artwork on the walls. I got a pedicure here and when I left, my feet were dryer than they had EVER been in my entire life. I was shocked. I've never seen my skin look this way, and that defeats the purpose of a pedicure. I would only come here as a last resort. read more

The shop is located between Kobe and Urban Cookhouse. The shop is very small and narrow. Customer Service is horrible, no greeting, just what do you need and pick a color. They are very pricey to have horrible customer service! The prices listed are for your regular nails so expect to pay more. I went to get a color change on my nails, no gel just regular polish and it was $18. I have short nails and I asked why was the price not $7 as listed on the board. She said those prices are for your regular nails. They had a good score however, not many customer at all. Now I see why. They also have a small selection of regular polish, most of the colors are the same reds and pinks! read more

I wanted to take my daughter to get her nails done for the first so we can here because it was close. I was surprised that they were charging the same price for children as adults for a manicure and gel nails. The male manicurist was also kinda rude to my daughter. Also, while he was cutting the extra skin from my finger he cut my finger which let a tiny scape for a few days and all could have been forgiven if the job was descent, but as you can see from the photos it wasn't. Not good. Their sanitation is poor, not wiping down manicure seats after customers. Misleading -- they seat you as if they are ready but then they are not. Staff not dual certified in both manicure and pedi so they do one service, but not the other. So a different tech has to help who if already busy more re-waiting. Really inefficient and frustrating for this not to be known nor communicated. it was another 20 minute wait that they were not open about up front. Would not come again. read more

My perspective is limited to that of a man who enjoys regular manicures and came in ONLY for such. This was - without exception - one of the worst manicures I have ever received. The gentleman who provided my service rushed the job, doing a poor job on my cuticles by moving too quickly through the "softening phase" and tearing them while at the same time doing a poor job trimming. I have to go to my hotel and re-buff the surface because of the lackluster job he did. I cannot overstate how disappointed I am in the service I received. I do not recommend. read more

I had a pedicure done here last evening and the service was very good. They promptly took me back and the woman that worked on me took clean utensils out of a wrapped package. She took her time on my feet and made sure they were painted perfectly before she moved over to the dryer. I also got my eye brows waxed and they did that promptly and satisfactory as well. I thought the prices were quite reasonable and there wasn't any waiting. I will go back and try out a manicure sometime soon. read more

I went here yesterday with my sister and young niece. All of us had pedicures done. Frankly, we did not feel welcomed as customers. No one said " Welcome! How are you today?" As a matter of fact, none of them said a word or even cracked a smile. Did not even smile at my 4 year-old niece! I went here on my lunch hour to get gel polish on my fingernails. I walked in and I was sat down immediately. The man took his time doing my nails so it took awhile, but he did a great job. He went back and fixed his mistakes that I did not even notice. The staff was not very chatty, but I somewhat prefer that lol. Their health score was a 100 as well. I am in Montgomery from out of town and was in desperate need of a pedicure, this salon was near my hotel (The Candlewood Suites) so I decided to give them a try! On first impression, I was greeted not so nicely which is the only reason I am taking away a star because after that my experience was good. The woman who did my pedicure took her time and did a thorough job, the leg massage was long, and I am pleased with the polish. Would come back for a pedicure if I was ever back in town. read more

RACIST!!! My classmate and I spontaneously stopped by the nail salon to get our nails done for graduation. Worst decision ever! It end up being a very traumatic event for me. So we both walk in ( two African American young women). Immediately we are approach by this super aggressive woman demanding to know "what do you need???" So I excused her aggressiveness maybe to her culture or upbringing. I told her that I wanted a full set manicure and pedicure and she quickly pointed me to this male in the front desk to the left. Cool. I stopped to pick out my nail color and I guess I was not as quick as they would have liked me to be because the aggressive lady at the front approached me THREE times urging me to go sit down to get started. In the mean time multiple other women who was picking out their nail color was not urged in this manner. So I picked out my nail color and sat down, and this is where this terrible experience was solidified. The male nail technician was SUPER SUPER RUDE. When I first sat down with my polish selection, I can immediately tell that he was aggrevated. It started first when he belittle my intellect by assuming that I did know how the mode changing nail polish work, when actually I couldn't understand his broken English. I excused this horrible service again and continued...then as he is prepping my nail, he is snatching and turning my fingers very aggressively. It is at this point I call my classmate over and discussed with her how I was feeling really uncomfortable (just to assure that I wasn't misinterpreting the situation) and she agreed. The male tech interrupted and in a loud tone said "Do you want to leave" I politely said "yes" and left. This was a terrible experience. I gave them no reason to treat me this way. My ethnicity was the ONLY thing that was different in that salon. This business does NOT deserve the money and support of any kind, not with this kind of costumer service. read more

My regular nail place was closed since it is Labor Day. I saw that Kelly's nails was open, and I am so glad I stopped by!! Paul did my nails (fill in and gel polish) and he did an amazing job! He took his time and did not seem rushed at all! You can tell he takes great pride in his work! I think this may be my new regular place! read more

One star is too generous. I decided to take my daughter there for a mani/pedi day. After telling them verbally, twice, that we wanted manicures and pedicures, I wrote it down on the sign in sheet and picked our colors. When we sat down for our pedicures they did not want to give my daughter any water for a soak. Clearly they wanted her pedicure to just be painting her toenails. After I explained to them that she wanted the soak they finally gave her a proper pedicure but not happy about it. The staff was extremely unfriendly to say the least. After a subpar pedicure we were taken to the dryer where we were left and forgotten. They continued to take people back for their nails. When I finally asked about our manicures they told me I never said manicure. I not only told them but they repeated back to me what I wanted. So they were trying to pass total blame onto me. They told me I would have to wait until everyone else was done. I decided to just leave. When she saw on the sheet I had written manicure and pedicure she quickly folded it up and threw it away. They did not offer me anything for the trouble. Just handed me the bill and went back to helping others. This was the worst experience and completely ruined our mother daughter day. Not a very friendly staff. When I asked to have the gel polish removed from my toes, from when I got it done weeks before, they proceeded to tell me that they don't have the equipment to do this. This was my first and last experience. First the owner Kelly is extremely rude !!! She has no customer service skills at all. My nail tech noticed how rude she was and decided to take over what she couldn't accomplish which is to create a friendly atmosphere. My nails however were not the best work I've had I feel they need more experienced nail techs. I will never return !!! read more
