I've been wanting to come here for months because I am in need of a good place that can do the gel art I ask for. Usually not too difficult, but it varies. I'm from LA, so I thought I'd give it a shot-- it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)! Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails! I've come here just once, but I am so happy; I've found my new nail shop :) I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it's always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait). The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It's definitely not the best skill and technique I've experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly! Hooray Spring Break! They were swamped today, but I still came out with a nice mani-pedi :) I got pastel green for St. Patty's and considering nail art for next time. One lady said she read Yelp reviews, so I blushed alil (did not reveal myself--hehehe). Try to book appt or call to see if they can work you in as it's a small shop. This place is below ok. The furniture is old, nail dryer is old, cabinets look broke....it's just blah inside....plus air conditioning felt like it didn't work. My lady did good but the towels were old...smelled clean but old. She took her time with the pedicure but if I get a foot fungus, I'm responding to this review to let y'all know. read more

Really liked this place. I took my mom for a treat and it was the first time she ever had a pedi. They were very friendly and the service was good. They offered us water and we did not have to wait. We did make an appointment, which I'd recommend. I have never left a review before on yelp, but I had to leave one because of this nail salon. Seriously the worst experience I've ever gotten. I went in to get a nail repaired and they did the worst job. I asked for a matte top coat on top of my gel polish and the man put one coat of gel polish on and tried to tell me "it will turn matte over time". I asked him if he was being serious and he asked me to leave. Do not ever come here. read more

Was here from out of town and needed a pedicure ASAP. She fit me in for a pedicure. The place isn't fancy like I'm used to in San Francisco but the service and the lady was very nice. I was able to relax in the massage chair in peace. In CA the nail shop is usually crowded and loud with the staff yelling and laughing. This place was quiet and very relaxing. read more

I went back in February this year when visiting family. I had such a great experience I actually made a yelp account because I wanted to thank these guys! (even though it's a bit overdue) I was out running errands that day and wanted to treat myself so I called ahead to make sure they had someone available for a basic pedicure. When I arrived, she was all set up for me with her supplies and warm towels. I don't get my nails done very often but was introduced to the magic of pedicures by an old girlfriend (and I generally don't like my feet touched). They offered me something to drink and the pedicure was efficient, all staff I encountered was kind, and I never felt rushed. No one tried to up sell me, but did exactly what I wanted. Overall it was just everything I needed and I think the total cost was $25 before a very generous tip. She communicated well about whether tip could be included on credit card which can be an awkward conversation for people less familiar with nail salons. I am in Montgomery for training and I needed my nails done bad. I called and made an appointment. I arrived and was greeted and the place had a great comforting feel. The nail tech was great and the quality of work and time he spent on my nails woooooowww I was very impressed. Great place to go and I will be returning when in town again. read more

Amazing pedicure! Sadly, I haven't had a pedicure in about 9 months my husband and I now live in Turkey. We were in Montgomery for business and I decided to call LA Nails in the hopes that they had availability. Paul squeezed me in with the female that works there. It was the most gentle pedicure I've ever had. I always go in anticipating a knick here or there or a rough massage, but she was perfection. The chair was comfy as well, which is not always the case. I asked for shellac, so Paul had to stop what he was doing to take care of that part. Again, a beautiful job. They were both amazing and incredibly sweet. This must be why they have dedicated clientele. They had to turn several walk ins and phone calls away due to their books being full. read more

The reviews recommended scheduling an appointment so I called 3 hours prior to coming in and was given the time I requested. They did an awesome job on my nails and toes, I was on a time crunch and I guess they noticed because they kept insisting I take my time and relax which was appreciated. I'm thinking of going back at the end of the week to add some designs on my perfectly painted nails and also to see how they do at waxing. read more

Went for a Pedi. Requested the guy I was told by a friend to make sure he did my pedicure. The ladies in the shop lied and said he wasn't there (he was in the back). Best pedicure of my life!! Walking in I wasn't sure what to expect because the place was empty. However, once my pedicure began I was sold. The technician worked so hard to smooth my feet and produced amazing results. I haven't had feet this soft in ages from having my feet stuffed into work boots everyday. The paraffin wax dip was also a huge treat, especially during the cold winter months. The other technician helped me pick out a gel polish for my nails and then he picked out a matching color for my toenails. The pedicure and gel color manicure together was only about $45! I went home for a visit to the parents and decided to treat myself to a summer mani-pedi before vacay time. Great prices for the mani-pedi! Each service was a couple of dollars cheaper than at other nail places! I love me a good deal and such a bonus for a graduate student stipend :) Ms. T is the sweetest lady who does pedicures, and she is very good. I'm usually very squeamish when people touch my feet, but felt comfortable around her. I got a classy French pedicure from Paul. From my impression, they like to book appointments in advance, and walk-ins are taken when they're avail. I'll be coming back. For now, onto the beach I come! read more
