Received a gift certificate for Spa Elia and made an appointment for a deep tissue massage. Let me just say that Morgan is awesome and spent a lot of time working on muscle knots from tension I carry in my shoulders. She named which muscles of mine were tight and showed me some stretches so I could continue to target those areas in my exercises. I have been struggling on and off with acne and acne scars for years now. After trying various over the counter products, I finally felt the need to treat my face with some TLC by regularly getting facials to attack my deep rooted skin issues. I decides to check out Spa Elia and get monthly treatments while completing my training at Maxwell. I came here in mind thinking that I would spend an arm and a leg on my first treatment to seek the best results. Brooke (who is absolutely amazing!!!) redirected me to another treatment that was not only more affordable but would FIRST attack my acne issue as the root of the problem before advancing. She is very professional, thorough, and educates me along the way on what each product's purpose is. I have been to here twice already and have seen a drastic change in my appearance. I recommend the Signature facial with the mini microdermabrasion. The Glycolic facial is also a nice treatment. Additionally, she will adjust her pressure during massages if asked. I definitely fell asleep a few times from how relaxing the massages were in between my facial treatments. Last but not least, she recommended switching my current facial products (or adding products) with tretinoin as an ingredient. She did not try to push the product onto me but rather showed me the product, educated me, guided me on how to research further and encouraged me to think it over prior to purchase. Long story short... I opted for the product and cant praise it enough! It is definitely pricey but my face its worth it! It feels great to walk around with confidence again. I was in town and was in need of a waxing. I googled the area and I chose Spa Elia because it was close and had reasonable waxing prices. I called last minute and they got me in quickly. The salon is very clean and I was greeted nicely and offered drinks as well. My waxer was a magician! She was so quick, and made everything so painless with her pleasant conversation. I usually get Brazilian sugaring instead of Brazilian waxing but I honestly don't notice a difference in either procedure. Of course the wax is warmer than the sugar, but the results are still the same: nice and smooth! The total cost was $75 and I left a generous tip because I was looking quite shaggy below and felt brand new walking out the door. My google directions did make me turn into the wrong parking lot so just make sure you pay attention when driving there! Enjoy! read more

I have gone to this spa many times and usually have an amazing experience. However today was not good! My massage therapist was all over the place! I asked her to focus on my calf muscles and she avoided them. Then she would hold my ankles as though to waist time. I was done when she answered her phone during my session! Spa Elia was such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is so very relaxing. The staff was so kind and helpful. I was treated to a very good massage as a gift on my first visit. Brittany was very good. As a second gift from my wonderful sister, who lives in North Carolina, I was once again treated to a second treatment, a facial. Cornelia was wonderful and very sensitive to me and my experience while I was there. I cannot say enough about their attention to detail and customer service. I will definitely be scheduling my own service soon. As a side note, unbeknownst to me all of this was arranged and coordinated by my sister remotely following a life changing and very fast move from out of state. When I arrived, I was greeted by the owners, who were both there that day. Very friendly, good people...I immediately fell in love with them and their spa. The massage was fantastic, but unfortunately due to an error in scheduling, I only received an hour long massage instead of a 90 minute. They than tried to over charge me for a deep tissue 60 minute when I had a 60 minute Swedish. I think I know what is happening though, every time we book something, we get a call that day asking us to move our appointment forward. So I did, this once, and I'm sure the last person for that slot was scheduled for a 60 minute Swedish. It was great but it felt unfinished... because it was. Since than my wife has been back for a facial, which she said was amazing, and she had already received the 90 minute Swedish. Which was amazing... apparently. The older lady at the front will also speak her mind even if it is snide. Like telling my wife that tanning isn't good for her and that she shouldn't do it anymore. This would be the same lady that created the scheduling conflict and also calls you to move your appointments. Every, single, time. So have an amazing time, because this is a talented staff, but it could be better without this one person there. read more

I have finally found a great day spa that doesn't break the bank. I love the Rennaissance spa for its amenities, but from a purely treatment perspective, Spa Elia beats them by far. I have had 2 facials with Cornelia and they are the best I have ever had. She takes the time to talk to you about what you can be doing at home and gives the best arm massage during it. There is a little waiting area which is relaxing, but no pool or hot tub, so just be aware of that. read more
