Me and my sister-n-law went out for a spa day. We found this amazing nail spa prior to closing. They agreed to see us both and took their time. Our services were not rushed. 1st off the restroom is clean and offers individual towels to dry your hands. We both got the Gloria Nails Natural special + paraffin + acupressure. This service comes with complimentary white or red wine. LT helped out to get off the old acrylic off my nails. Emily completed my nails and did my pedicure with shellac color. Tom worked on the manicure and pedicure for my sister n-law. The service, interaction, etc is amazing. I live in San Jose and have regular service but this was last minute. This place is so beautiful and upscale. Prices are great as they have something for every budget. The acupressure felt so good. If and when I'm in the area I'll be back to get my mani/pedi. I had a great experience each time I have gone. They are very friendly with a variety of nail colors and options. What I wanted to compliment them on is when I broke a nail. I had my appointment on Sunday and went back on Thursday to get it fixed. The nail tech did a full mani with no charge. She was not rude about it and was pleasant during the time. read more

First of all it took them an hour and 35 minutes to do a basic dip manicure. I didn't even get a manicure just the dip power put on. He started completely from the top after drilling and filling (thought I was almost done) and when I asked he tried to say that he had to do this because I got tips. I've gotten dip manicure with tips for 6 years and that has never happened. When he filed it was so painful and when I finally went to look all of my fingers have cuts and have been rubbed raw and bleeding from the filing. My actual nails look so good but definitely not worth it for the pain and time it takes. read more

Not only did they take an hour and 15 minutes to do a full set, when it was time to pay there was an extra charge for every little thing that was not addressed before the service was given. Altogether, for two people to get a full set and pedicure it was $300, which is an unacceptable price. I've wouldn't recommend going and getting an actual design or French tip, just get a full color on your regular nails. The atmosphere was good. read more

I've needed a pedicure for a couple weeks but I haven't made it. Today I couldn't wait any longer. I picked this place because it was open and had good reviews. Man did I luck in to a good thing. I arrived an hour before closing but they were willing to provide whatever service I liked. Beautiful decor. Great massage chairs. Clean. Tracey did my pedicure. She was meticulous and fantastic. This is my first visit and my experience was wonderful. The shop is located in east Montgomery between Pieology and Jimmy John's. The shop was clean and everyone was super nice. There is an older male tech that is a bit of a comedian. He is very respectful and super funny. I would recommend this shop to anyone. read more

This place was one of the worst experiences I've had with a nail salon and I have regularly gotten my nails done for years all over the US and overseas. The basic pedicure took an hour and a half because the tech took so long. It took 30 minutes for her to just get the gel polish off. She seemed to not know what she was doing. The guy who did my nails said he knew she was super slow and that he's told her to be faster. I didn't even get the foot message because it took so long. My daughter got a full set with designs and finished and I was still getting a basic pedicure. Then when we checked out they started adding so many extra charges. We got a basic pedicure w/chrome (no one said it was extra), a fill-in w/chrome, a full set w/design, and two brow waxes. They charged $20 extra because they said my daughter's nails were long. Who charges for that? They're not even long. The lady kept telling me my total and then kept adding stuff and saying no this is the total. It was $209 and they claimed my daughter's nails were at a discount which is crazy. They said her nails should be $95. She usually pays $65 tops for that and doesn't get charged for length. I will just go back to Family Nails because they're more reasonable. This place will nickel and dime you. My daughter's nails are like a quarter inch. Never again. read more

This was my 3rd time visiting this establishment. My initial visit was ok as it relates to the appearance of my nails, literally my nails. Let's start from the beginning. This establishment charges a la carte for common services provided by other nail salons. First visit, mani/pedi with gel. For your nails, a gel manicure does not include a soak, cuticle trim or hand massage. They are basically charging for a polish (dip or gel) change. It costs $15 additional for a "manicure". Pedicures, they charge an additional $5 if you want your heels treated with the scraper (looks like a grater). For a basic mani (dip) and pedi I left out paying $95 with a 5%military discount. So, I go back a 2nd time and my nails lifted by the 3rd day. Shame on me, I go back for my 3rd visit this past Sunday and that will be my last. I was willing to pay the additional money because my nails looked great and lasted 4 weeks after my 1st visit. I figured I would go back a 3rd time and let them know about my nails lifting the 2nd visit, but she didn't care. A sign, this was not going to be a good visit. First sign, their 18 mos was running around the salon. Let's just say a basic mani with dip and pedi took 2.5 hours. While working on me only, I had to endure an 18 mos old throwing apples in the pedi bowl, telling her that her child has the acetone bottle in her hand, was asked to wait while she put her down for a nap, and the list could go on. Yet, at the end, I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the visit and the amount of time and she only offered to ot charge me for the cuticle trim, which remember is usually included with a manicure, but not here. She seemed shocked that I was upset about having to endure her 18 mos old during both of my services. Now, 3 says later, the dip powder on my nails is chipping. cracking and lifting. read more

They took more walk ins than they should have, lots of people were told they could come in but had to sit and wait for a long time. It would have been better if they told customers to come back in 10-20 min rather than seat them and get them half started on manicures and then bouncing around between customers. Aside from that it was a really nice interior, a good quality, affordable (military discount) manicure and they offered drinks. read more

They are a little quirky. I asked for a color and the guy told me it was too light for my complexion. I had gotten the color plenty times before so I ignored him. Afterwards he wanted to post the color on me because he said it looked very nice NO THANKS. They use gel lighting on dip powder which is a no no. They will kill your nail bed on your toes and hands. One of the nail techs came over and used the toenail clipper that had been used on my and put it back on the tray! GROSS! Will not return. read more

Unfortunately yesterday was my first and last visit to Gloria nails. The tech who did my nails literally cut every one of my fingers. I did the dipping powder and noticed he did a few things different. There was no soaking my nails first, instead he used the drill to take off all the acrylic from the dip and he me put my hands in acetone in between hands. Second, instead of using a cuticle cutter I noticed he was cutting my cuticles with the drill- i felt a slight burn but I didn't think much of it except today every single finger hurts and I have some small cuts. Lastly, soon as I left when I looked in the light some of the nails are not smooth-due to the application technique. Wanted to share in details to avoid someone else from spending $90 and not being happy with the final product. read more

Finally a man asked me what would I like, I said a fill-in then he told me to pick my color so I did and waited to be called back. This place is great! Unfortunately, I came in upset from a previous racist encounter at another nail place down the road but the energy of this place changed that around. The staff are all very nice & accommodating. I got a gel full set and a hot stone pedicure, which included a beverage. The wine/mimosa drink was very good. My nails turned out cute! Ok. Where do I begin. First, I called ahead and was told to arrive at noon on Saturday, 16 June 2018. I arrived at 1150 and was seated at a pedicure station. As I began to soak my feet with no added salts which by the way should have been added according to the price list, I noticed several other patrons enter the salon and be serviced immediately. Without question, the owner told me those people had appointments. Just what was my calling ahead then? How does one schedule an appointment without calling or stopping in to schedule such? Anywho about 15 minutes later, a guy whom others referred to I believe Andy came over. He removed the gel polish from my feet and proceeded to use the same drill to cut my toe cuticles. This was new to me because I'm use to providers applying a gel and manually pushing back and cutting the cuticle. On top of that he barely scrubbed the bottom of my feet. No pedicure file, only a pumice stone with no gel or solution. He then proceeded to perform my manicure at the same station. There were manicure tables available, but I guess he was too lazy to walk me over. Besides the poor service and his lame jokes, he handed me a bill for $84 and expected a tip. I don't mind paying for a service when it's a good one, but that joker looked butt hurt about the tip. At the end of the day, I'll be looking for a new salon perhaps Doug's 2 or JC Penneys for future services. read more
