I am not rough with my hands, and typically gel x lasts months on end. I went in today to ask for a refund, I did not want them touching my nails again, and they argued with me and said that it was policy they couldn't do refunds. There is not a sign or disclaimer anywhere in the store that says that. They only offered a half refund or to come back later so they could do my nails again. Why in the world would I want to repeat my experience here after seeing the quality of their work? It was shoddy and rushed and my nail beds are also destroyed. I spent hours the first time out of my day and paid for a service to be done right, and they didn't deliver. They even accused me of going home and taking my own nails off. I spent SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS, WHAT ON EARTH WOULD COMPEL ME TO GO HOME AND RIP THEM OFF? And then they told me my nails were too short for them to hold anyways. I ASKED the first time I was there if I could do shorter nails so that they would hold, and they told me they would. So I was lied to, given poor service, and then denied my own money back, and didn't even receive an apology. This is disappointing. I was excited to go here and get my nails done, and spent a LOT of money to be treated unfairly. I eventually just opted for the half refund. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell every single woman I know to steer clear of this place and just go to Royal Nails or Fancy Nails instead.

I'm from LA, so I thought I'd give it a shot-- it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)! Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails! I've come here just once, but I am so happy; I've found my new nail shop :) I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it's always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait). The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It's definitely not the best skill and technique I've experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly! Awesome, awesome service! THAT is what I'm talking about when I treat myself! Go get yo' nail on, girlfriends!! :)

When they asked us again about polish, they looked at each other and laughed and said things in their language. The service was extremely rushed and the experience was not good at all. Money is money and not getting get should not be the reason our service is bad. Also, they polished my sisters toes so thick that even at night, hours after the polish was clumpy.

Our services were not rushed. 1st off the restroom is clean and offers individual towels to dry your hands. We both got the Gloria Nails Natural special + paraffin + acupressure. This service comes with complimentary white or red wine. LT helped out to get off the old acrylic off my nails. Emily completed my nails and did my pedicure with shellac color. Tom worked on the manicure and pedicure for my sister n-law. The service, interaction, etc is amazing. I live in San Jose and have regular service but this was last minute. This place is so beautiful and upscale. Prices are great as they have something for every budget. The acupressure felt so good. If and when I'm in the area I'll be back to get my mani/pedi.
