I haven't been in Norfolk very long so I typically go based off of reviews until I get a sold recommendation. I mainly went so I can get my daughter's nails done for school. She ended up not liking them. I got cut with the cheese grater thing they use. And my nails looked terrible. Main reason why I have two stars is cause they were apologetic but my nails and hers in my opinion looked terrible. Hers didn't look right and mine were way too thick. When I went to another salon it took forever to get them taken off and I was told that the top of acrylic that was used was meant for teeth allegedly and that's why it took over 44 min to just get them off and I had got them removed a week later. I was also told they weren't supposed to be using that cheese grater looking tool to begin with because of safety so that's why I went ahead and typed this review. It's more of a go to this place with caution.

She does not honor the $25 gift when you refer friends (I've referred 2 friends and she changes her story every time concerning the $25 gift for referring). I was also there Friday 9/26 and the air conditioning was not working and she did not send anyone over to fix it. It was so uncomfortably hot and the employees had to work in those conditions all day. She is not a good business owner as she can be very rude but I continue to go because of Thao and Anna is also a great nail tech who gets a 5 star rating.

The space is adorable, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and my appointment was confirmed. I was there for a gel pedicure, and even though I arrived 15 minutes early, she got me started right away -- no waiting! She offered me water, made sure I was comfortable, and was incredibly attentive throughout. But here's the part that really impressed me: I've had a splinter lodged in the side of my toe for what felt like forever -- through several pedicures at other places, no one ever took care of it. She noticed it, carefully removed it, and honestly, it felt like she worked a little miracle on my foot. I left feeling pampered, polished, and actually fixed -- not just painted over. Highly recommend checking her out if you're looking for great service and real attention to detail! Just ignore my terrible tan lines, the toes looked great.

They had a lot of colors, and they were able to get us in right away. It was just a husband and wife working, so when two young ladies came in they did have to wait a few minutes but they were very friendly and nice about everything. My mom had a smush in her big toe from out recent pedis and they helped her find a similar color and fix it. If we weren't passing through, I definitely would've gone back. Our nails lasted almost 3 weeks, so that on top of their customer service is everything I'd ask for! Except maybe more people working in case it gets busy/you're not prepared to wait in case!
