This is my last time here. If you need a quick fix, no designs, and don't mind being rushed, this is the place for you.... First, just because the tech keeps saying it's cute, it's not. If you can't replicate a design, please be humble enough to say so. I could have spoken up more, but at this point it wasn't worth it. What really put me off is that every time these two ghetto big backs walk in everyone tenses up. One lady audibly said "Uh oh". The first time I was there the same time they were i had an appointment and was rushed so they could "get to the money". This time the entire shop catered to them and again, I was rushed out. I may not get the extra long, extra flamboyant nails, with lashes that look like caterpillars, and talk loudly over everyone else. But my money spends and my tips don't lie. This was my first time coming to this nail shop. I broke just one nail and I needed a quick repair. There was plenty of parking and the facility is very big. Surprisingly the nail shop was empty and I was advised to sit in a nail technicians chair instantly. To repair one nail was $5.00. My nail tech did not speak much but he was very quick and managed to mimic the exact shape of the replacement nail and match the color of my polish to the T! I was very happy with the service. I've been seeing a lot of bad reviews but honestly - you get what you pay for here. It looks like a hole in the wall but the techs get the job done and are very fast. They do a wonderful job with eyebrows and pedis. I also just got a set and they haven't broke- I've been wearing them for over two weeks now. The paint has barely just begun to fade. Eeek! That is exactly what I thought as I was getting my pedicure and manicure. I was so nervous the entire time that I was going to get an infection that I could not even relax. Also, the nail techs are talking so much back and forth in another language that you have no idea what is going on or being said. They holler at each other across the salon and as clients are coming and going. They speak very abruptly and curt towards the clients. The nail tech and client at the table next to me were arguing back and forth for the entire time about her nipping her skin as she was doing her manicure. It was very unsettling. They are super fast as if they are basically trying to get you in and out in a hot second. They want you to pay cash and offer a discounted rate for it. I'm not even sure if the tools are sanitized because she did not open them in front of me nor did I see her take them out of a sanitizing machine. That is a standard practice that I look for at a nail salon. I will never return. Not worth the cheap price. If you care about the health of your nails, do not go to this place. While going to get my nails removed, I had four people work on my hands. There was one gentleman specifically who put the nail bit too close and drilled too hard, and actually hit my nail bed. Subsequently, I was bleeding and I let them know that my hand was stinging as I put it in the acetone. The gentleman and let me know it'll be fine. I tried to put my hand back in the acetone, my pinky nail continued stinging. I let the staff know. 2 people came to examine my mail, but no one apologized. They gave me a card to call them if anything went wrong with my nail. I'm very concerned about the overall health of my nail this particular point in time seeing my nail bed was hit. It had been one heck of a week and I decided to get myself a manicure and pedicure. Let me start by saying that I know very little about nail salons. The staff was nice and friendly. I'm sure they saw the deer-in-a-headlights look on my face. I picked my color and sat down. I elected to get the "gel" nails (your hand sits under a UV light to dry). Dislikes: I was told to never have a man do your nails. I'm not saying the bias is true but my manicure only lasted a week. The gel nails (picture) lasted four days before the tip started to peel and at one week I soaked them off due to the edges peeling. Neutral: The shop is small which means that you can watch as people get their eyebrows and lips waxed. Ouch. Likes: The massage chair. Also, the pedicure lasted a lot longer than the manicure. Star Rating: I feel for the price I paid, it wasn't worth getting the gel nails. Maybe if I was getting married; however, I didn't like the damage to my nails (it's still growing out). I was gifted a nail certificate ($200) in January for my birthday & I took my sister with me yesterday to get two pedicures. I let them know prior I would be using the certificate & they said "ok no problem" I really enjoyed my whole experience. My only concern with mine was the tech using a CALLUS SHAVER which is actually illegal. My sister got the same pedicure as I but had an awful experience. Her tech didn't ask if the water was okay, i asked her nails be filed down a bit more & the tech said she'd do it when she was done. The paraffin wax burned my little sister due to the tech not checking If it's too hot for her or not. She was poking the bruises on my sisters legs & when my sister was giggling in conversation between her & i the nail tech asked her "what was funny". Come to the end with my certificate & for two pedicures $69 each + $20 for gel, the total I was given was $189. I was charged an additional $31 I'm not sure for what. All of a sudden they can't honor my gift certificate claiming the person who bought it came and got a refund. Meanwhile they had a "no refund policy" on their wall posted next to the register. I asked if we could come to a compromise on the certificate since it was a GIFT and I would've had no way of knowing that it was "refunded". They said I could pay out of pocket in full or call the COPS. They locked me and my minor sister in the store and would not let us wait outside for the cops. I asked to speak to the owner & was told she was overseas & a call could not be made. 10 mins later she's walking up to me & making threats while saying IM embarrassing HER. I had enough, gave them $100 flat and walked out as I had no time to be wasted waiting for cops over a non emergency situation. Id offered several times to leave my information or have them take a photo of my ID for the cops & they wouldn't accept that. As I said I really enjoyed MY pedicure experience & wanted to go back but I will never step foot in an establishment that will not honor their own gift certificates again. read more

I got the Bald man that works here....straight up rude just because I requested hot water ( not luke warm water) for my Pedicure....I asked really nicely and he said....you want water hot...ill give you hot...turned up water so hot my feet were red...then when he saw the bottom of my feet...he said WOW.....it was rude...and hurtful.....he proceeded to fight with his coworkers too during the visit....I was visiting my Daughter in VA....we went to spend time together....but it ended up being an awful experience.....I basically paid and tipped a person that has no respect or kindness for others. They improperly cut your toenails and dig so deep into the flesh along your toenails that your toenails become ingrown!
