UPDATE: 12-2-14 This place just got better. They added... well.. I dont know the technical name…read more But i'll call it a hydration bed. Also I was recently telling a friend about this place, and she said no, i go to... well.. lets just say their off 436 in altamonte near i4. She said they're only $18 a month. I replied. Yeah... Tan 33 has them beat.. So for probably the cheapest prices you can find to tan. I would come here. Also after getting to know all the staff over the last several months. I can say you probably wont find a friendlier group of girls anywhere else. Oh ya... And recently I forgot sun screen to cover my tattoos. They now have tattoo sticks to protect your art Very clean inside. plenty of beds to chose from.. To the awesome ibed which actually sprays aroma therapy scent lol.. To spray on tans, stand up beds, and various other lay down beds.. Prices to fit every ones budget too. They have monthy packages from $13, unlimited tanning. Or just buy a package for $50 and use your tans when you want. If you go once a month it'll last you a year.. Actually i think the $50 is for 5. But either way.. You can find something to match your budget if you wanted. The staff here is really friendly as well.. They have plenty of tanning lotion to pick from but nothing with spf in it.. So if your tattooed maybe grab some high spf from walmart or something.. They do have a lotion for people with tattoos.. But the spf is really low.. I think its around 10 or something.

When I called to make an appointment the person I spoke with told me the correct location for my purchase (it is by the LA Fitness, not 4 Rivers) and that I could just walk in which is very convenient. When I went on Veterans Day the girl who helped me (wish I had gotten her name) was super helpful, super informative, and definitely made me feel welcome. I opted for the clear medium (I am quite pale) and it was excellent. The process was quick and the results were great. I will definitely be back and wish I could afford to go regularly

UPDATE: Apparently…read moregetting a Southern Tan before a cruise has officially become my vacation tradition. I flew in from California, got sprayed by Lauren when I arrived, then decided I needed a fresh glow before heading to Miami for my cruise. Enter Lisa! Lauren was out of town, but Lisa swooped in like the tanning fairy goddess she is. She had literally just gotten home from her own vacation, I don't even think she'd made it home yet, and still squeezed me into her schedule before my long drive. That kind of customer service is impossible to find. Lisa was every bit as amazing as Lauren. My tan is flawless, natural, streak free, and has me looking like I actually spend my life on a yacht instead of surviving airport layovers. She made the whole experience so comfortable and easy. These ladies don't just give incredible spray tans, they genuinely care about their clients. If you're debating where to go, STOP LOOKING. Southern Tan is absolutely worth it, and I'll definitely be back the next time Florida calls my name!

Oh. My. This is hands down the best South Beach Tanning location I have been to in Orlando. It is…read moreSO nice, so vibrant and CLEAN! You can tell it is extremely well maintained and cared for. Right when you walk in, you have the front desk and then a hall of tanning rooms to both the left and right, the classic SoBeach Tan bright yellow walls and purple / blue lights with their trademark chandelier. It is so incredibly spacious and again I'll reiterate - TWO halls of tanning rooms, this place is BIG! But let me get to my favorite part - the Versa Pro machine. I always have the sunless tan package so that's what I do, I can't speak to the tanning beds themselves - but boy oh boy, the Versa Pro machine here is ten times better than the others I've been to in Orlando. The main difference? I feel like this might be a newer model, first and foremost - for some reason the machine itself feels bigger inside, I can't be for sure, maybe the lighting is just better in there so it gives that illusion but I get that vibe for some reason. Second, the machine is definitely newer in general and well maintained, it operates smoothly unlike some others I've been in, it's so clean and... SO WARM!!! If you've had a "Versa Sunless Spa Treatment" you know it's supposed to be heated. Well - unfortunately the one I go to over in Lee Vista area is nowhere near this nice and the machine has felt luke warm at best and honestly most often just ice cold. THIS however, was a whole new ball game!!! When it came to the dry time I was so pleasantly surprised I made the mental note to come here from now on, right away. (Normally when the dry sequence starts I literally have to brace myself it's so freaking cold!!!) LOVE IT HERE! In a nutshell, five stars all around - this is the best spray tanning spot in Orlando!

There was also a radio connected to the bed if you wished to listen to music. There were lots of rooms so it can handle a large number of people at this location. So I tried "The Infrared Fat Burning, Cellulite, and Detox Treatment" It was really HOT but so RELAXING! You get undressed down to your basics, and put on a light suit (like a painters overalls) Then you lie down on this heated bed, then they wrap you up. Next they let you choose between a movie and spa music with headphones. Then you are completely covered up to your neck! Then you lie there for 60min!!! At first it's not so bad, then after 30 min it REALLY feels hot, the last 15 min you are dieing. I started counting the seconds!! LOL - Totally a Detox, my skin is so soft!
