If I tell you that I have been driving 55 minutes week after week for almost a year just to enjoy myself at this place, you would probably ask "what is so unique about it that you don't get it closer to your home?" Well, at first was more about the concept, the quality of the equipments and products, and the variety of treatments that really work! Like some other customers I learned about Micro Spa thru Groupon so I finished the first package I purchased and, just based on the results, I bought a second one... an another, and so on... Almost two months ago, I decided it was time for a long term commitment and became a member at the 2nd highest level of membership (which matches perfect my needs)...What made me make the decision after so many months? A successful transition to the best caring and committed staff...Every week I look forward to pamper myself but also to see their smiles, their dedication, and their engagement in what they do. In agreement, with some other reviewers, at first I was not overly impressed by some of the staff...but one day, I met Alissa and she showed me a different level of care...she went out of her way to recommend other treatments and I felt her honesty far from the anxiety of selling me a membership, she was more concerned about how I can meet my needs with their products and services in a very unique and sincere approach. Alissa kept me going...so I would prefer to make appointments when she was on shift. Later, I met the owner, and learned about the passion that she has for helping many people like me have access to a variety of personal and body care services at a reasonable price. Her creativity and humble approach really impressed me (I even thought she was a new employee!) (LOL)... Well, things have changed! Now I feel confident that whoever is on shift the consistency and quality of service will be there along with the smile making one feel the most important person for them. Now I am more pleased than ever and I will continue to enjoy every minute there! Kudos to the owner and the team! You listened to your customers, acted with them in mind, made the tough decisions to improve the team, and continue to offer the best deals...because YOU CARE! MicroSpa has basically been my home away from home these last few months! It truly is the "spa of the future". I started out coming for the massages and tanning. I have fibromyalgia, and the two types of massages and heat from their tanning beds really relieve the tightness that I am always dealing with. The only negative thing that I can possibly say, is that I am sad when it's over! Next I discovered the I-Slim. This device is absolutely amazing! There are so many reasons I can't say enough about it! Mostly because of the high calorie burn and the detoxification that occurs. It's so relaxing and once I am settled in the machine and have the headphones on, I just listen to the Spa music and let myself relax! Nine times out of ten, I fall asleep during the session. I always feel amazing after the treatment. Refreshed and with my energy soaring! Normally I will head straight to the gym in the same plaza and work out to maximize the benefits! Recently, I have been doing the Lightwave. I have three beautiful children that gave me some "not so beautiful" stretch marks! I have completed 6 sessions and have really noticed a difference! My husband even commented the other day that the few scars that I had have completely faded! I was considering Botox for a few fine lines in my forehead but since I am able to use the system on my face and my areas with stretch marks during one session, I am now seeing a difference in my face as well! I am definitely going to keep it up. The staff is so helpful and informative. They really go the extra mile to make sure I am getting the results that I am looking for. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and really feel like a member of the MicroSpa family when I'm there. It's amazing how often I am there and meet some of their other clients for the first time, but still feel so comfortable hanging out on the couch in the lobby talking and making new friendships. The plans that they offer absolutely allow me to mix up what I am doing and enjoy all the services that MicroSpa offers. I've been going to the Microspa since it first opened, so I guess you could say I'm a charter member. I like having a place that's just for ME. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and I've really enjoyed getting to know them. I come in all stressed out from work or home, and find myself sometimes falling asleep there in the iSlim and leaving so much more relaxed than when I came in. It's been such a treat! I got the membership that doesn't include the tanning beds. After all, this is Florida. If I want a tan, I'll go outside. However, I stay for the teeth whitening--worth the price of membership in itself, the hydration capsule, and the LED facial therapy while sitting in the massage chair. I even used the iSlim and (along with the help of Weight Watchers) I've lost 40 pounds in the last year. The iSlim helped me get to my goal weight faster, and now I don't have to pay for Weight Watchers meetings. That made it all worth it! I also want to praise the owner Sona for her policy of letting me put my membership on hold for almost a year. I went through a year from hell at work, watching my whole department be laid off, while I was paying $10 a month to maintain my membership and worrying if I were doing the right thing. Luckily, I was able to save my job, and Sona let me reactivate my membership at the same price as before. Sona even let me use the money that I had paid all that time as spa dollars. She's a truly lovely person, both inside and out, and this proved it. read more

I have been in the spa on a regular basis for the past 8 months in the beginning the couple of girls that were there were amazing they always treated me with great hospititality. in the past few months I have seen many new faces which is not comforting and the new girls seem very fake and do not make me feel comforted they seem like they want me in and out. I also have never came in contact or heard of the owner sonya until the past couple of weeks at first i thought she was a very pretty, intelligent lady until she started acting a little shady trying to ask me about former employees and she just seems like a very untrustworthy person to do buisness with (which i will not go into details about). besides that the tanning beds were amazing to look at but didnt seem to get me tan at all even with the lotion one of the unfamiliar faces pressured me to buy ( expensive waste of money). also i heard two of the newer girls talking about some of the services not doing what they were supposed to do so good thing i didnt commit to their memberships they always pressured me to buy everytime i vistited lately. in my opinion i thought microspa would be more convienient but i would rather continue my membership at planet beach where they have updated versions of microspas equipment and a more professional atmosphere. read more

I had a wonderful experience at MicroSpa! Debbie was so very nice and made me feel so comfortable. She gave me a tour of the spa and told me what was offered. The spa was kept very neat and clean. I did the iSlim treatment and I am very hesitant about trying new things and I loved it! I have never done anything like it before. During the treatment, Debbie always came to check on me and I felt very good about that. I recommend it to anyone who is who looking for a great tan or a great look. This is a great spa tucked away in a strip plaza in Apopka, near the Tuesday Morning store. I love the fact that it's so high tech!. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. They don't seem like employees at all; they act like owners and seem to be very proud to represent the company. I have so far only used the Mystic Tan service, which is SO much better than standing in front of someone while they spray you. I intially came for my first visit using a groupon because it was an amazing deal,when i got there the staff greeted me, they were very friendly and helpful with all the questions i had, i tried the i-slim and i seen very impressive result on my first use so from seeing that i decided to sign up for the highest membership which is 199 (seems like alot) but its an awesome deal!!!! the reason i chose the highest is because i wanted to try the lighwave therepy we will see how that turns out but im likeing the results already!! this place definately has my reccomendation!!! read more

I am not into tanning. However, I am into spray tanning and this place is the best I have ever tried. The spray tanning is in a booth, like South Beach tanning. The difference is that you don't get all the spotting and uneven spray marks like you get at other booths. It's happened to me. This booth is totally different, the atmosphere is very nice, and it was like $30. I usually would not pay that much for a spray tan but it lasted me for nearly a month! It was definitely worth it and I am excited I have found a good spray tanning place to go to:) read more

My favorite services ate the Islim body wrap treatment and teeth whitening. The body wrap helps with chronic pain from endometriosis and detox from food allergies that cause acne. An added perk is that I drop about a dress size each time I do a treatment series. I like to add the teeth whitening treatment to my visit as well. read more
