I had a great experience at this location! I had purchased a Groupon for the Versa booth tan for an event I had. When I called to make an appointment the person I spoke with told me the correct location for my purchase (it is by the LA Fitness, not 4 Rivers) and that I could just walk in which is very convenient. When I went on Veterans Day the girl who helped me (wish I had gotten her name) was super helpful, super informative, and definitely made me feel welcome. I opted for the clear medium (I am quite pale) and it was excellent. The process was quick and the results were great. I will definitely be back and wish I could afford to go regularly read more

Excellent place . I really enjoy tanning at this spa, they always have a promotion to allow me to change up my tanning bed levels or to spray tan for an excellent price. Staff girls are friends and know me by name and that is always a welcoming plus. Local to my job so I frequent here very often. Always clean and has a unique vibe to the decor. UPDATE: 12-2-14 This place just got better. They added... well.. I dont know the technical name. But i'll call it a hydration bed. Also I was recently telling a friend about this place, and she said no, i go to... well.. lets just say their off 436 in altamonte near i4. She said they're only $18 a month. I replied. Yeah... Tan 33 has them beat.. So for probably the cheapest prices you can find to tan. I would come here. Also after getting to know all the staff over the last several months. I can say you probably wont find a friendlier group of girls anywhere else. Oh ya... And recently I forgot sun screen to cover my tattoos. They now have tattoo sticks to protect your art Very clean inside. plenty of beds to chose from.. To the awesome ibed which actually sprays aroma therapy scent lol.. To spray on tans, stand up beds, and various other lay down beds.. Prices to fit every ones budget too. They have monthy packages from $13, unlimited tanning. Or just buy a package for $50 and use your tans when you want. If you go once a month it'll last you a year.. Actually i think the $50 is for 5. But either way.. You can find something to match your budget if you wanted. The staff here is really friendly as well.. They have plenty of tanning lotion to pick from but nothing with spf in it.. So if your tattooed maybe grab some high spf from walmart or something.. They do have a lotion for people with tattoos.. But the spf is really low.. I think its around 10 or something. read more

I worked at a tanning salon for 3 years so I am very particular about where I go. I was in the area and needed a spray badly. They use versa and that is my preference for sprays. I walked in to an immaculately clean salon and was greeted by the nicest girl (I forgot her name). She was sitting behind the counter when I was walking up but stood up when I walked through the door. This might sound small to some, but I consider that very professional. She was very informative and walked me back to the room. They provide wipes and a towel for after the spray. The machine itself was very clean and the floor had zero spray residue. Did I mention that spray tans are only $15 dollars on Wednesday's???!! Such an amazing deal. I live 45 minutes away and will be coming here to get my sprays. read more

To make a long review short, my wife bought me a $100 gift card at 33 Tanning Spa where she has a membership. When I decide to finally use it, I am told that it expired even though my wife was never told there was an expiration on this gift card. The owner, Erin Castleberg, eventually agrees to extend it as a courtesy. So I make an appointment for teeth bleaching and upon arrival I get told I need to spend an extra $80 for the bleaching gel and that I can not pay for it with the gift card. So I opt against bleaching and I tan instead. When it s all said and done my gift card expired with $50 still on it because E Castleberg said it was time for it to expire. My wife canceled her $80 a month or $1,000 a year membership that she has had for 2 years plus and you get a bad review. All for $50. I guess you must really need the money. No business savvy whatsoever. read more

Wow this place is allot bigger than expected. They have a huge selection of beds a couple stand up options and two spray tan options. I can't wait to try the very cool hydration machine....i hear its miracle hangover cure machine, guess that will give me a good reason to have one too many :-). Top notch... I would recommend a stop by too check them out. They always have some type of promotion going on and the staff is super nice and knowledgeable. They made a guy getting some color feel very comfortable and not wierd at all. read more

I am so completely upset at this establishment. I went to get a heated body wrap on 7/3 - (this was not my first time doing it with them and normally I love them) 1 day later I had a rough rash on the top of my thigh, I went to my General Physician and he said it was from a bacterial infection and asked where I had been. I let him know how the body wrap goes and he said the bacteria must've came from the inside of the wrap (which means it's not cleaned properly) That was also the only thing I had done recently. I also bought a package for 8 sessions. I called twice and spoke to multiple people and the "manager" still has never called me back. I wasn't asking for a full refund, only partial as I knew I used some of what I will NEVER be using again with them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND them. He ended up writing me a prescription and advised to never revisit. They obviously have issues. If only the manager would've called me back and even spoke to me. Unfortunately this place shouldn't even be called a salon. read more

I was referred to this tanning spa by one of my fellow employees so I figured I would give it a try. This spa is Gorgeous! Immaculately clean and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The girl at the front desk was extremely informative about ALL their services and Specials! I purchased a great tanning product and tanned for 10 min. So relaxing. They offer many services such as Lash and Brow Services, Massage, Bodywraps, Hydration saunas, sunless tanning and facials. They even offer Teeth Whitening. Their prices are off the chain affordable for everyone. They are open 7 days a week also. Definitely check them out!!! WELL WORTH IT!!! read more

I went here after a recommendation from a friend from work. I was trying to get a pretty good tan going before a craise to the Bahamas. I went in for my first free week, only having to pay a one time fee for an upgrade to level 4 and extra bronzing lotion a couple times. After only 3 sessions I had gotten noticeably darker and had a good base tan. The whole week after I was on my trip I only got tanner and barely even burned. I was very satisfied with my results and will continue going there every now and then when I need a touch up. The service and information given to me was great too read more

I've been to tanning spas before and they're all the same. The 19 year old girl who only cares that she can text at work and that she gets free tans. 33 Tanning breaks the rule. The staff knows their stuff! I'm pasty pale and have been all my life. The staff at 33 took the time to work with me to figure out the best plan for my skin. Im getting dark and I'm not burning because of the care and knowledge they display. And the best part about 33 are the prices. $13.33 for unlimited tanning? Erin is a walking encyclopedia. She knew MANY peoples names and knew exactly what they wanted when they arrived. Every question anyone asked her she knew the answer to and then some. She goes above and beyond and truly tries to make a connection with the people who walk through her door instead of using this as a paycheck. I love this place, the staff is amazing, and everything is always clean! There are so many choices, from level 1 to level 4 tanning beds, some are even offered as a stand up booth. I had my first spray tan last week, and LOVE IT! I can look dark with a spray tan while working on actually getting dark in my favorite level 3 stand-up. ;) I have yet to try the massage offers, but that's on my wish list. Erin was great ,she walked me through the business, explained the different levels of beds. The place is very clean with a warm spa vibe. By far the BEST tanning spa I've ever been to. Everyone who works there is super knowledgeable (especially for me and my pale freckled skin) I am in love with their Versa Spa!! You will not be sorry if you choose this option.. I know sometimes you worry about being streaky and Orange, but it WILL NOT HAPPEN!! They guarantee it!! Erin and all the staff are great!! I met Erin when she worked at Genuine Savage which she purchased and changed the name to 33 Tanning Spa. She is an amazing woman and has done many stunning modifications to the spa. I only use the Versa Spray tan machine, the one here is nice (I think it may be an older model but still does the trick!), this model has a warmer inside so you don't get cold (always hated spray tanning in these machines at other places because I froze), the place is super clean, very friendly staff! I'll be spray tanning here from now on read more

If u are looking for a tanning spa and much more too massages, detox/weight loss wraps, at least 4 different level beds and spray/ versa spa and the best owner and staff around TAN 33 is the only place to go I ha e been a customer for many many years I live it and would never go anywhere else read more

Just moved to the area, and saw their ad in parking lot. Was blown away when i walked in. Never seen a place like this. Met Erin (the owner), who was very nice, and took me on a tour of the salon. Got a great deal, and then tanned. Complimentary water and eye wear. This place rocks!!! read more

This tanning salon is amazing. The entire staff is helpful and sweet. The prices are the best around, and have tanned at all the local competitors before I found this place. I use the versa spa spray tan which is automatic and sunless. I love it and would recommend to everyone. read more

Clean and classy place. Wasn't a client of genuine savage but I've been told it looks nothing like it used to. It's modern and has a warm feel to it. Plenty of beds to choose from including spray tanning ! I would certainly recommend this place to my friends and colleagues. read more
