But....
I have had many a spray tan. I am addicted to it, going maybe once a month back in LA. And I have to say, that though this tan looked pretty great to start, it faded weird.
The whole process of getting a custom airbrush tan like this is pretty personal. You are in your underwear (wear a tiny thong, and not your favorite - black is good - as they will get stained otherwise), topless (if you want, but if not, you will have strap lines). You get sprayed from head to toe and every spot you forgot you had, front to back and then again (2x). Then you are blown dry with a blow dryer.
What I didn't like so very much about this experience was not a big deal: it was a little cold in the room for me. Ok, no biggie. But the way the tan aged/faded was not good. I had some patchy coloration, and the hands and feet stayed noticeably darker. So I had to loofah them a bit. But then, about 4 days later, I notice some patchy fading on my thighs, near the groin but not where my legs touched. Also, I have had most of my tans last 3 weeks at least. This one was pretty much gone by 2 weeks. That didn't bum me out though, as I was spending time in the sun by that point - but the patchy fading that I had to fix on my own, well.... It was just kind of odd.
I really liked Charlie, though, and I thought she was very skilled, so I wonder if it was the product?
Anyhow, I would go back again as she was a sweetheart and the tan did look great at first.
General Airbrush Tanning Rules (FYI):
1) Exfoliate well the day you are going, get all that dry skin off - try a shower scrub with sugar
2) Come to the tan in flip flops, a g-string under everything, super loose clothes in DARK color (prob not time to wear your "fav" outfit)
3) Moisturize your hands, feet, elbows, knees very well before you go
4) Shower before but DO NOT take a shower for at least 10 hours after the tan
